Can you imagine this: Security expenses for Xmas: Area Commander: N100,000 4 Mopols x N5,000/day : N20,000/day Mopols feeding allowance (N2,500/day x 4): N10,000/day Going to the East on 29th Dec till 2nd January (5 days) : N100,000 (AC) + N100k (total Mopol fees) + N50k (total Mopol feeding allowance) = N250k |
ilugunboy: Don't be shock when they start tagging you efulefuThey can say whatever...no concern me. If going to my house will be like going on covert operation. Why bother? The funny thing about Nigeria is that even if DANA air crashes 100 times, people will still patronize them because it is not "their portion" to die. SE is not safe anymore. At least for now. The experience of a student that goes home for Xmas will never be the same as that of a well-off individual. Kidnappers have their targets. They go for people with potential or wherewithal to pay. And these people are the ones running scared of SE. Some people are bad market and they know it. Most people going home are like, "wetin concern vulture and barber?". Person wey never chop; you wan kidnap am? |
Cusubaba: Who is this retarded plastic claiming igbo. Why not u travel to Maidugari or YOBE state.Because that is not my home state I am from Orumba L.G.A of Anambra State. Truth hurts, but someone's got to say it. |
Woke up this morning to see a fool trying to break into my car through the passenger side door with something that looked like a metal object. I shouted! I have never seen a grown man run this fast in my life. The dude just disappeared. It happened that he saw a briefcase that I carelessly left in the car that was visible from the outside. I came back late from the Xmas eve thing and decided to park outside since I intend going to the range this morning. To think someone will be walking around this Xmas morning to commit a crime baffles me. |
It is true! I am from Anambra State. Each time I travelled to the village, crossing River Niger becomes entering the war zone. I become more apprehensive and vigilant than normal. If you go to Enugu, Owerri, Awka and other major Igbo towns, returnees are hiding in hotels. It is disheartening when one's parents will not want their returnee family members to sleep in the house. If you want to drive out, na wahala. There is this level of fear everywhere. No one knows who will be the next victim. There are still diehards who go out. As typical Nigerians, they only anchor their hope on "not my portion". They go to their houses in the day time and sneek out to sleep in a hotel at night. Not that it is any safer, but kinda gives them a false sense of invicibility. The contemporary ala Igbo is a hot mess. This is not a tribal issue but reality. |
Logicboy03: I weep for the ignorance of many nigerians- being afraid of fairy tales. Because when juju starts its manifestation, na the person with camera go first tear race ![]() |
Too many rules....I am better off keeping away. All these wahala for just 1 week oringo..God forbid bad thing. Na person wey river see, na im e dey swallow. Person wey dey go Afghanistan nefa prepare reach like this o! ![]() |
They announced the ban on sugar about two weeks before the ban takes effect. So if your sugar consignment do not land at the port by Dec.31st, 2012 you will be pretty much screwed. What a good way to ruin business. |
Don't hold your breath, BB11 is on the way...I give it 6 months. You all will still shout alleluia! And hand over your hard-earned money to RIMM I guess to get this one, naija ladies better be ready to throw in rear hole "boinking" with the regular BJ + banging that comes with older BB. |
Same with me. Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.
And in America, a woman scorned has no fury like an ex- with a gun who has nothing more to lose ![]() |
fnep2smooth: God don catch her, she is governor okorocha girl friend thats why he made her his SSA, in abuja her house is opposite okorocha house. Shameless she- goat. That girl fine o! Are you sure about the house thing? I know that she had a permanent room in Transcorp Hilton as of 2 years ago. May be she has upgraded. Nawa o! |
On pilot and warrant officer...may your souls RIP On Azazi and (ex)Gov of Kaduna...dancing Kukere. These people will never learn. Former Minister of Works that embezzled money to fix roads died in a road accident few years ago! Government officials do not want to repair roads..they want to fly. But witches in sky just had to remind them that they are humans after all. I hope they take their billions to the grave. Stupid people!!! ![]() |
You be armu-rubber ![]() ![]() ![]()
Which kin armu-robber? Most of my co-workers are the best of the best in every branch of the US military. We go to shooting ranges all over the country. You can sign up for tactical classes if you want. It is not a big deal! As inter alia stated, I will not bow down to any rag-tag military man for the heck of military. I gave the condition(s) for not fighting him being the same condition that I will not fight agbero in the motor park---I will be outnumbered. Period. I cannot fight a gang. Otherwise, I dare him/her to slap me. I am physically well-built that my appearance alone will scare him off. |
A real soldier...she died in the line of duty ![]() |

moderatorr: Next time you return to Nigeria, slap a military man. I will not slap a military wo(man) unless s(he)slaps me first. OR unless they are in a group...in that case it is group vs. one man (I will stand no chance). But one to one, I will kick his a_s. Whatever gun they carry, I have carried better and heavier. Outside the gun, what other leverage does a policeman or army personnel have over you? Nonsense! |
Tried very hard..still could not find anything good to say. Dad died when I was 2 months; mom was never present in my life. I pretty much had to teach myself how to be a man. And now, all she does is compete with me as if we are mates... I just don't like anything that reminds me that she exists. |
NONE |
All cars are the same---engine, transmission and different styles of body moulding. They are all nice to drive when new; become pain in the a_s when they break down. Either way, Nigeria mechanics see them as things that need to be destroyed. |
These boys are crazy! So all the Ngozi Iweala share of subsidy money dey wan collect? The wahala be say these boys dey read Newspapers too. Scandal here, scandal there...they know how much each target is worth. Well, it looks like the evil that people do lives with their parents (naija version). GEJ mama go dey shiver for her pants right now. I pity old mama. The chicken is finally coming home to roast. "Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable". |
I broke up with a girl on a very sad note four years ago. Sad in the sense that there were threat to my life, juju, etc. She was in Abuja then. 4 years down the lane, I was in naija for some business that did not go down well. I missed my flight while waiting for payments...then the fuel brouhaha started. The airline refused to honour my ticket (it was nonrefundable by the way) when I went for reschedule b/c I did not buy it direct from them. They asked me to call the online vendor that sold the ticket. Good luck calling 1-800 number from Nigeria. I was stuck and the so-called friends fled. My ex got my phone from an auntie and called me just to say hi. I guess she could detect from the phone conversation that I needed help badly. What help? Ticket to get out before things get worse! I swallowed the humble pie and told her my predicament. She called back about an hour later and requested for my account number. I thought she was kidding. The amount involved was not something I would want to borrow from someone. I figured I might as well wait for payments that didn't seem forthcoming. Two days later she wired some money (more than I needed) to my account.I took the next available flight out. When I returned and called her to make arrangements for the payback, she just asked me: What are friends for? I can't believe it up till today. |
I keep wondering too...if everything in Nigeria is ascribed to hardwork, proper marketing, etc. Why and who is patronizing all these human parts harvesters we hear about everyday? Those digging up corpses in the middle of the night for parts must be getting the parts for customers ...Who are these customers? Are people jazzing up their food? You bet. Does it work? Who knows? You need to talk to a prophet or babalawo to see the kinds of requests people approach them with. Cave ne sedes! ![]() |
Akshow: beautiful and mega rich. Abeg she get any daughter wey i fit runs? Marryin into this family naYOU MEAN OIL DIGGING? ![]() |
SniperInADiaper: Only threaten those that you fully intend to kill. You are right on the money. Guns are not for threats. You pull that gun, you must shoot and intend to kill. |
Why bother? If I finally save him/her...will it solve the problems why he/she wanted to jump in the first place. In some countries, attempted suicide is a crime that yields time in jail...woe betide you if you owe the government any taxes. I remember one time in northern California, one person like that dey do gragra say im wan jump. After causing traffic hold up, the people couldn't take it any longer and started cheering the omo on-- jump! jump!! jump!!! Hoping she would get it over with, so that they could continue with their commute. Sad but true. |
Jblx: Shoul a front Tyres be kept at thesame preasure guage with the back ones, & what is the normal(45 or 50psi) guage for the Tyres?Look at the inscription on the tire, it should tell you. Also refer to your vehicle manual or google it. Most times,30- 35psi is all it takes |
No where is easy o! The difference b/w USA and Nigeria is that in Nigeria you can make all the effort you want, you still need prayers, hope and connection to survive. You could be the smartest chap in Nigeria, graduate, get a job and at the end of the month, you wont get paid... Talk about killing morale! In USA, the effort you put in is what matters most. If you work, you are guaranteed to get paid at least. |
What an exaggeration! 25%? yeah right...more like 5% |
This young man needs support and encouragement. If you have his contact, tell him to contact me at chim_lou2001@yahoo.com. If you are a civil engineering graduate and unemployed (or underemployed), email your CV to the email address above as well. I will be having a meeting with FERMA boss in Abuja on January 17th for some proposals that sure will benefit you. |
I don't think any right thinking criminal will walk into my house. In California, certain guns are legal. I have AR-15(semi-auto), 9mm x 4 and a GSG1911 hidden and secured in strategic places around the house. My neighbor's house is an armory and that dude sure is crazy. If any motherf...kr tries anything funny, I will blast away |
seyibrown: That is the funny thing! You are banking on 'the willingness of the God whose will you refuse to follow' to keep you alive throughout the term of the contract. You want to enjoy fatherhood without the responsibility of being a husband!Yada Yada Yada...holier than thou attitude crap...Last time I checked, the bible is against fornication, adultery, robbery, stealing, runs, abortion, etc. that are prevalent in Nigeria these days. Are you perfect? Let people make their choices. Stop basing your arguments on bible that none of you pretentious christians could keep 1% of its laws. |
