FashionRe: Should Tall Girls Wear High Heels? by Ivynwa(f):
zenith2k9: they wear it simply because it makes their curves come out well
Toluth: Heels wearing is not majorly to make ladies taller, but to look more sexy and elegant..cos the heels raises their hips, which makes them sexier...
Amaka G29: They lengthen the legs, accent the calves, and help with walking more gracefully and maintaining a nice posture
I love heels
These three posters came close to one great thing high-heel shoes does for ladies.
It raises up/positions the *ss/bombom/cheeks of the b*ttocks in a great way which also causes the chest to thrust forward and the back to arch thus giving the wearer a very beautiful look. Many women that wear it doesn't even know or haven't observed that. Most of us just know that it makes one look nice and lovely without knowing how it really does that. You get to know that when you hear shoe designers talk because they put those angle of tilts into considerations while designing. It also boost up the height, a lady on a high -heel shoes and in that sexy posture can't help but walk elegantly and beautifully.

I love high-heel shoes too, I'm tall enough yet I like the additional height it gives. I am not one to keep aside my high-heel shoes because the other person is short---na me tell the person make e be short engine. grin

The topic of this thread cracked me up, you NLders no go wound person with laughter.
I agree to some extent that a ladies feet tells a lot about how clean she is yet there's more to a person than the feet of that person. If you like her you can teach her how to take care of her feet better.

PoliticsRe: Pictures Of Bombings In Zaria And Kaduna by Ivynwa(f): 3:32am On Jun 18, 2012
bayooooooo: Your reasoning might be correct but that does not negate the fact that Religion fuels the violence.
Besides, the Boko Haram that was crushed is different in style from this present one. Perhaps they learn from mistakes of the past.
In the past, they were well known and one could readily say "come and see them"

Now, they are anonymous. That complicates matter.
There we have it religiously fuelled and politically backed up.
Sad! It's saddening my brother.
Hope we all get our peace back someday. We use to hear it all over the radios, watch it in Tellies, read it in the newspapers now the "strap-a-bomb-on-yourself-and-go-blow-up-the-people" is here with us. We need to be delivered from it all. We use to have peace in our world until the day we all woke up and some skyscrapers got blown off and the world changed with a great religious divide. I am wishing for that peaceful good old days when nobody plays with bombs. What hardens a human to a point of strapping bombs on themselves if not for some serious brainwashing. We are all better off without religion as it seems, we should quietly get into our houses and worship the Gods we believe in from our heart if people only gets brainwashed at the place of worship
PoliticsRe: Pictures Of Bombings In Zaria And Kaduna by Ivynwa(f): 2:57am On Jun 18, 2012
bayooooooo: Not everyone will agree with this definition of yours. Boko haram predates this present government. Escalation merely occurs under this present administration. It has once been "crushed" before resurrecting to its present virulent form. To me Boko Haram is a terrorist organisation, pure and simple. Like I said the activities of the group might wittingly or unwittingly help the political cause of some people, the organisation itself is largely driven by Islamic ideology.
What prevents the north from stopping them this time around?
Guess they are all feeling like BH can go on their wild wild bombing as long as it knocks off the present government and gets them the throne/oil again.
PoliticsRe: Pictures Of Bombings In Zaria And Kaduna by Ivynwa(f): 2:45am On Jun 18, 2012
This all started as a ruse to destabilize the country and make it seem like the south oil producing states are incapable of ruling the country and now see where it brought us all.
The fear of losing the grip on the oil to the owners of the oil is among the reasons that started this destabilization. Let us not forget that! I am not even supporting any political side right now not even the presidential side, I am not happy with the this issue is being handled, the govt needs to heave more on this and bring an end to it.
Why are the northern politicians and past presidents not putting hands together to stop this if not that it is serving a purpose for them all? DESTABILISATION! that is their aim and when you the masses kill your muslim brothers and christian sisters you are dancing to their tunes and giving them the satisfaction that now Nigeria is in shambles.
Let us quit making fun of the president, they set out to make a fool of him. He does deserve some chiding for not controlling this well and should work more on this issue, get external forces to help end it.
It's all a ruse to make him look incapable, this destabilizers seem to be getting Nigeria where they want it.
CrimeRe: Face Of The Kaduna Suicide Bomber....warning Disturbing Graphic Material by Ivynwa(f): 2:28am On Jun 18, 2012
Jeez! I never wanted to see any gruesome pics today now I have seen one. Poster how did you know that he is the one? Did they package the bomb in his head that his head got blown off like that? Jeez! What is that? All kinds of gruesome stuffs we now see in Nigeria, we must be hardening up looking at such.
PoliticsRe: Pictures Of Bombings In Zaria And Kaduna by Ivynwa(f):
Are the figures you gave us here correct?
If we woke up this beautiful sunday and lost 50 persons in churches and 150 persons under reprisal attacks ALL FOR RELIGION---then we must be s-t-upid. We have to be! What fr*aking religions have us killing ourselves? The black man must always find a reason to kill his brothers, some Rwandans called their brothers cockroaches and started killing and wiping their tribe off. Here we said that it is "religion"----okay-o-o go ahead and kill yourselves for religion.
I am so disgusted at the black man and his penchant for killing his own!

Logic Mind: at last a wise decision. next time you see Logic Mind, mind your own business. I'm not you kid.
Sweetheart, you are getting worked up over nothing, you barged into the thread and started using mouth to cut down everybody, enjoy your kingdom. When you get tired of blasting everybody, you may find out that all has left the thread for you. What joy do you derive from blasting off people that are chit chatting and enjoying their evening. Quarrelling and cursing ain't my thing in the forum, I'd rather have fun and enjoy myself. Go ahead if you are getting kicks from this.

manugbo: YES HE IS, AND NEEDS TO BE BUTCHERED
Logic Mind: you fuckin' started it but now the heat is on, you want to run away.

mbhs139: Ivynwa, in as much as we are trying to make them see reason why we should not kill one another, can you hear what my brothers are saying?
Yes sweetheart, it's sweet of you not taking sides and speaking out for peace. They are speaking like that because we have had too much bloodshed in this BH issue, who will not be angry? You are very right my brother, we should not kill one another I agree with you. You are a good muslim dear, we should not allow religion run away with us and kill ourselves for it. It is a s-t-upid thing to do. People with no religion are living and loving and surviving.

Logic Mind: Yoruba words are worthless.
hairy ibo nkita the most slaughtered tribe in the jungle.
You guys shouldn't even get started on some tribal hatings in a sensitive thread like this, what is wrong with you black people and your level of hating one another? People are getting killed off by their brothers and country men and you are here pouting on each other "your tribe this, your tribe that". Enough, guys please!

vanstanzy: ALL THIS MAYHEM IS COS OUR LEADERS REFUSED TO ACT.
Yes, they should make this priority, give it the attention it needs and uproot this problem before it swallows us all. What kind of life is it when people live under fears of bombings and reprisal attacks----see where this has brought us to.

I never even wanted to comment on the thread, had in mind to peep in and silently go my way cause I am tired of all these only to be reading about gruesome killings. I should go out and get some sunday evening ice cream and chill but I am mad at what the black man is doing to himself. Why can't blacks love themselves and stay peaceful, if we are not killing for tribe, it's for ethnicity and religion and gangs. Can't we evolve out of this hatred-living?
PoliticsRe: Christian Youths Kill Muslims In Reprisal Attacks At Gonin Gora, Kaduna by Ivynwa(f): 8:45pm On Jun 17, 2012
PointB: Perhaps, it will be much better if the Christians youth kill a few Christians, while targeting the mosque. That way it will be justified as 'neutral' attack?
Nobody deserves to die over some fr*aking religions (yes I said fr*aking). Are we s-t-upid? What is all these religious madness? I can as well stay home and stop doing religion if this is what religion makes people do. What is all these killing and maiming, breaking hearts of people, making children orphans, wives widows and husbands widowers?

mykejones: I'v just watched a man been burnt to death right beside his suya joint. Same joint he has been selling meat to his Christian customers al ages long.
I saw smokes from the Police station...i heard muslims ran in there for safety, since the police wouldn't allow them touch them, they burnt down the station, including the musilms and non muslim police men.
An okada man was butchered and dumped outside the station too.
Over 6bodies are PRESENTLY there, outside the cell, then the ones burnt inside.
Muslims are been hunted deep within as am typing now.
This is just in Romi.
The notoriously angry christian youths of Television and Sabo axis would be far worse than this.
The muslims will definately strike back, and it's a big worry for all. The counter attack frm the christains too shd nt be taken lightly.
Friends, pray for Kaduna and Nigeria as a whole.
Dnt hide behind ur systems and sprew jargons!
If you see d situation of things now,u'd probably run, forgetin u want2fight for Christ.
Are you serious Mr. Mike? The boko haramists have gotten on the nerves of us all but christians should chill please and not kill the moslems. Don't forget that they also killed their fellow muslims, somebody make them stop. How did we arrive here? Jesus Christ! What is all these mayhem?

@Shymmex
I am liking your postings. Where did you get those? They are the kind of stuffs that made me like the Ebony magazine very much.
Preach brother!

The black race should be ashamed of themselves and be wise.
Put a black man together with his brothers, he finds an excuse (TRIBE-mere language & culture, RELIGION-mere stories figmented and sold to him by others, Villages-mere locations & boundaries) to kill off his brothers.

The black race suffered the greatest indignity the human race has ever known through slavery yet after being sold he manages to still find an excuse to kill his brothers in the lands that they were sold to, forms gangs and off he begins to shoot his brothers down. Shame! What a big shame! Just when will the black man fr*aking stop this fr*aking thing!

Guess christians should be happy that the moslems are getting hit back but should we be killing ourselves people?

FamilyRe: What Do You Think About The Ongoing Kola Boof/Djimon Hounsou/Kimora Fab Saga?? by Ivynwa(op):
moremi2008: You should read between the lines with these celebrities. Indeed, Djimon was picked up the streets of Paris and was promptly the plaything and then husband of a rich French woman who people claim is still legally married to him. Yes, go research Kimora's sick relationship with Russell and you'll see that they both go both ways, male and female. Such a fcking mess!
Yeah, Kola did mention that Kimora is bi- but who cares? The way our world is going nowadays nothing surprises me anymore, ain't some even tired of the natural man/woman relationship and asking for freedom to lay with whoever they like irrespective of the s-ex and they are being given audience and sympathy. The persons and authorities giving such freedom and licensing should be ready when another set of human beings arise to demand freedom to lay with animals and trees---wateva. It's all going wacky.

ikamefa: so you believe that goat and hen story about some powerful people trying to bribe her, i simply dont like the woman, she is an attention seeking ogre grin

haa yes she was vaginallly infabulated, her parents were roasted right in front of her, she had brain cancer, she was once a sex-slave, so freaking what

am sure there are other people who have gone thru worse, but they aint't out there making a fool of themselves.
cheesy
like i;ve been repeating like a broken record, kola should post concrete evidence backing her salacious claims, or just shut the hell up. cheesy cheesy cheesy
Take it easy girl, do you think that a person with such values and ideals as she has cares a hoot about who believes her or not. She is just saying her mind. Don't take it on much. I am only impressed at the positive side of these personalities involved. If they like they can get on giving the world more drama and the press more things to write about, as it is some persons are already making wealth out of the whole stuff.
FamilyRe: What Do You Think About The Ongoing Kola Boof/Djimon Hounsou/Kimora Fab Saga?? by Ivynwa(op): 11:46am On Jun 16, 2012
moremi2008: I have followed Kola Boof for a while (since way before this Djimon saga) and a few things remain in the shadows about her. They are as follows:

1) Her relationship with the US government: Is she under government protection? If yes, can she get away with causing all this drama? Will she really risk deportation for cheap fame?
2) Her mental health: She clearly has mental health issues but it isn't clear if these issues are severe enough to completely discredit her claims. Crazy people can still tell the truth.

Having said all this, I am still on the fence about her allegations. They are too ridiculous and salacious to be believed but at the same time, only a truly, psych-ward emergency case will make such claims and continue to defend them in the face of a pending lawsuit. It doesn't help at all that Djimon and Kimora were never legally married (and that Djimon has a legal wife somewhere). It also doesn't help that Kimora is a shady child prostitute who started sleeping with Russell when she was barely 13 and got into a completely sham marriage with a man who is almost certainly homo/bi for money. Everybody knows BabyPhat is doing poorly and Russell still bankrolls Kimora's lifestyle until today.

They all deserve each other in my opinion. Crazy people with crazy values. It's just a shame that there are young children involved with this sordid mess.
At 13, are you fr*aking kidding me? I do like the charming fabulous Kimora lady too, her smiles light up a room. It's all fuzzy with what is going on between the 3 or is it even 4(Mr Simmons inclusive). I mean this Kim lady is with another man, bearing your name and you are still hovering over her like a mother chicken fighting for her case etc
Kola did mention that Kimora was her friend before and that she has been with Djimon before Kimora, if what she said Kimora did to her that made her do this is true then they all deserve themselves truly. Kola's, Kimora's and Djimon's s*x lives are actually their business, I admire Kola for going through hell and coming out bold with an unbroken spirit and still being here overcoming and succeeding. Kimora seems to have great business sense too, it takes some work to be in her line of business. As for Djimon, in the past I once read the story of how somebody picked him off the street of Paris only to become a good actor. Their life stories, achievement and hardwork are a bit inspiring even when their recent saga isn't. Whoops!
