Who the heck is ohhlala?
My gut instinct says I-man or 4play or is it crazykid?
There r so many imposters on the Man Utd thread these days.
This are the kind of thang that tags along with success.
Where were these heads last season?

@ Razorr,

Seeing that u are a bit bush and NOT exposed about stuffs like this, i will take ma time to explain. . . . . . . .

It will cost me 12 pounds to send 100 pounds on Western Union.(who picks up the 12 pounds bill?)
Say the money gets to Nigeria and i win . . . . . . .The Admin will have to use part of the bet(18-24 pounds) to send 200 pounds back to me in England. cry
On the whole issue . . . . .I would lose close to 40 pounds which is bad business for me.

If u win the bet, the money goes straight to u from Seun and i still lose 12 pounds for sending the money to Seun.
So, whatever pans out, i am bound to lose some change which is bad business for my company.
The Western Union thingy cannot work unless u have a Nairaland member u can TRUST in England or u fly down to London yourself and we seal the deal.
You copy?

You can't TRUST a fellow Chelskite like ya? I can't believe it.
Somze will have FITS with this statement.
Being refused by a Man Utd or any other rival fan is acceptable but being put down by a comrade is devastating.
Razorr can't trust no one with 1 naira, let alone 200 quid. grin

Site Admin? How do we get him to take the dough?
The Admin is in Lagos and i'm in London. Any ideas?
Who picks up the transfer fee for sending money to and fro?
This aint feasible, babes.

5 reasons why i won't use Loyika.

He is a gooner.
Loyika, like everyone knows, is ur bed mate.
He hates United with a passion.
Loyika stays in PH thus the money aint safe. . . . .PH gals have a knack of taking money off MEN. PH boys r mostly militants, do the maths.
Chief Loyika is smart. He might wanna keep the money if the match ends in a draw as penalties dont count in Loyika's world.

Who is this middleman?
It has to be a trust worthy lad/lass else i am not interested.
Somze will disappear into thin air with 200 pounds(i am cock-sure of this).
Why not fly to England and lets go Wembley together if u r this passionate.

If u can gimme a list of trusted souls on NL and i approve of it then we can deal.

@ Somze,

somze:
Ok
Meanwhile, i think JM earns more than Ruudie, to hell with English guys wink
Jose Mourinho could well be the highest paid manager in the world but he is not as rich as Ferguson's children. shocked
Mourinho was earning 0.6 million pounds when he was in Porto and became a multi-millionaire just 3 years ago.
Ferguson on the other hand has been earning Millions in the last 20 odd years. Deal with it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Beckham at Man United makes just 50k a week. Sol Campbell and Rio Ferdinand were making 90k a week then but none of em can touch Beckham's spending power.
Sometimes what u earn aint a factor but WHO u really are . . . . . . . . .
Jose Mourinho on 5 milla a year needs to work for another 20 odd years to reach Ferguson's level in CASH and needs to win Treble for Chelsea to be nominated for Knighthood. shocked shocked shocked shocked
Do u really see him achieving that?
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Chelsea Vs Man United - Community Shield! A Case Of Deja Vu @ Wembley? by Jackal(m): 10:12am On Jul 30, 2007
United played quality clubs in Asia.
Man Utd will play Inter Milan(Italian champions) on Wednesday.
Chelsea went to America to play clubs with the same quality as Sheffield Wednesday, Crewe Alexander and Bradford City grin
The Blues(2nd best in England) came back to the UK and played Rangers(2nd best in Scotland) thinking it will be an easy ride, didn't they get served?
Mourinho deliberately avoided Celtic FC(Scotland champions) and chose a less-powerful club and still got punished. grin grin grin grin grin
Maybe Chelsea should choose the 2nd best team in Nigeria or Ghana and play 'em to get a WIN.

@ Razorr,

You are a bloody Arrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How dare u come here to say a RED DEVIL can't write.
Has it come down now to MIND GAMES because of the match on Sunday?
I thought Mourinho(Y'all Messiah) said he won't be blabbing much this season. I 2nd-guess he passed his ailment to y'all Nairaland Chelski fans.
Diarrhoea of the mouth is air-borne thus highly contagious. I can understand why y'all mouths run like a public tap and what comes out is a pungent odour.
I am sure RUUDIE can write better English than Jose Mourinho grin . . . . . . .Deal with that!!!!!!!!

@ Somze,
You are bloody right.
The Hammers control the whole East London while Spurs and Arsenal fight in the North.
Chelsea and Fulham tussle in the West. Charlton and Crystal Palace in a head-lock in the South.
The Hammers have no rivals in the East and that makes em powerful.
In a way, people(myself included) also like West Ham because Upton Park is a breeding zone for raw talents.
They enjoy massive popularity as far as London is concerned and u can't take it away from em.
I think the FA should carry the whole blame and shouldn't have allowed Tevez's deal to materialise in the 1st place.
The bloody FA even allowed Mascherano to join Liverpool in January and won't allow Carlos to join Man Utd now.
Its a farce and a stinking cover-up. Sheffield United should head to the nearest Magistrates court and issue a writ to the plonkers at SOHO square.
Son, It's time for some real ass-kicking
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Chelsea Vs Man United - Community Shield! A Case Of Deja Vu @ Wembley? by Jackal(m): 9:41am On Jul 30, 2007
Its only some few days away.
United will roll out the purest, finest and the most-talented buncha players @ the Wembley stadium.
Nani is rearing to go, Wazza is ready, Ronaldo is poised to unleash on the Chelskites and Ferguson is ready to put Chelsea where they belong.
United, being the best in the land won the best Cup in England.
I see nothing wrong with Chelsea(2nd best) winning the FA (2nd best )cup in England
.

This is a different matter. It's a new season.
United is buzzing with new players. All the South American players involved in Copa are resuming today for pre-season preparations.
Anderson and Heinze will be available. Hargreaves, Nani and maybe Tevez can give a cameo appearance on Sunday.
If Chelsea's match against Rangers is something to go by . . . . . . . .United will WIN Chelsea by 4 goals to 1.
Can it be any different? I don't think so. Chelsea needs to ressurrect their DEAD defence. tongue
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Jackal(m): 9:30am On Jul 30, 2007
I understand that clearly but ain't u surprised the English FA can be this dirty and 2-faced with sensitive issues like this.
Tell u what, i think the FA wanted West Ham to stay up at all cost and that was why they didnt dock their points and just told em to pay 5.5 million pounds.
I feel so sorry for Sheffield United. They had a case when they went to court but the FA threw it out like a used sanitary pad.
West Ham received almost 35 million pounds for staying up in the Prem with the new TV deal between the FA and the clubs.
5.5 Milla in 35 million pounds is nothing and this is the biggest cover up i have ever witnessed.
FA should be punished by FIFA. The way they have handled this TEVEZ shit has been appaling.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Chelsea Vs Man United - Community Shield! A Case Of Deja Vu @ Wembley? by Jackal(m): 9:18am On Jul 30, 2007
Alex Ferguson is a winner.
He will give Chelsea a run for their money and players like Wazza, Ronaldo, Nani and Giggs will make Chelsea suffer.
United will win it but they would have sold the Prem title for the Shield if they win it.

There will be no excuses.
Chelsea's 11 on the day is not better than United's.
We wont have SCHOLESY and some notable players but any team United rolls out is still capable of lashing Chelsea.
3rd rated Liverpool destroyed Chelsea in the community shield last season. How much more, a Great United side.

Mourinho's job hangs in the balance again.
The United camp is buzzing with the news that Tevez issue will be resolved this week.
KIA pays 6 million to the Hammers and he gets 36 milla from United. He wld make 30 milla pounds and TEVEZ joins United without harm. grin
I see Liverpool also getting frustrated and fined by the FA for trying to TAP Gabriel Heinze.
United wins in all form.
UP UNITED.

I really dont want United to win the Shield cos it's spells doom for any team contesting the title.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Jackal(m): 8:58am On Jul 30, 2007
@ Kitaun + Loyika + Razorr,

Another twist unveils as the Tevez saga continues.
West Ham have told KIA he can have TEVEZ if he pays 6 million pounds for him. grin
The FA made it mandatory the amount should not be less than 5.5 million pounds
. embarassed
This means Eggert knows he doesn't own TEVEZ's economic rights and just wanted KIA to pay back the fine 5.5 million pounds
The FA and West Ham are a stinking organisation.
Hammers paid 5.5M in fines but that isnt MSI's problem and is nothing to do with them. West ham broke the rules not MSI.
West Ham ripped up the contract with MSI so this should have really meant the return of Tevez to MSI. West Ham have never paid a transfer fee for Tevez.
What gives them the right to receive a big payout for a player they took on loan? Does this mean if we sell Rossi then Parma get the transfer fee as he was on loan there then?
I dont particularly like third party ownerships as they take money out of football but they entitled to any fee for Tevez.

Maschereno left for Liverpool in much the same way that Tevez should be allowed to leave now.
West Ham will receive zilch in transfer fees for Maschereno.
The same applies for Tevez.
The only reason The Prem and West Ham are making this difficult is because when they tore up the contract they never really ended anything. They werent in their right to tear up his contract and take sole ownership of the player.
They are now trying to save face because they should have never player him end of the season and probably wouldnt have stayed up.

I keep reading people posting that the Heinze situation and the Tevez situation are the same.
They are totally different.
Heinze = Manchester Utd player. We bought him!!!
Tevez = Player on loan agreement who was illegally played.
Anyways, i just hope KIA pays em the dough so Tevez can join as soon as possible.
I'm tired of the 2-faced bastard known as the FA and cunt-smelling clubs like the Hammers.
Hammers now know if KIA goes to court, they will lose but it might take time and Tevez wont join United in August.

@ Doyin13,

I wasn't talking about talent-wise here.
I am talking about the competiton smaller teams will give the so called BIG 4 when the season kicks off.
There wont be easy 3 points like it used to be when u can always predict Liverpool going to Pompey and nicking 3 points like taking a bar of candy from a baby.
Things are going to be tighter this season cos smaller teams were able to buy decent foreign players in their fold.
Compare Blackburn's spendings last season to now, Pompey's last season's spendings to now.
It used to be the BIG 4 signing and getting decent players but now things done changed.
Pompey's signings in terms of player quality are better than Arsenal and Chelsea THIS SUMMER. What does that tell ya?
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Arsenal Fan Thread: For Gunners Only (Old) by Jackal(m): 8:51pm On Jul 29, 2007
He does understand English.
What he meant practically was he felt contact and made him unstable thus leading to him hitting the deck.
When u travel with the ball with RONALDO'S PACE (almost 50km/hr) then u know anything, no matter how light the contact, is enough to bring him down.
Ronaldo does not dive . . . . .His pace is the determinant.
SKYSPORTS calculated Ronaldo's pace to be 50KM/hr against Bolton @ OT when he raced with the ball from United's goal area to set Rooney up for what everyone voted the GOAL of the Season.

Drogba is built like a HORSE/STALLION and the lightest of touches makes him go down like he got pole-axed.
English commentators always laugh and marvel how a player built like a gorilla goes down that easily.
Think about it, Drogba's body mass compared to Ronaldo's plus Drogba doesn't travel as fast as Ronnie and the slightest touch makes him rollon the floor like a man suffering from stomach cancer. grin grin grin
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Jackal(m): 8:37pm On Jul 29, 2007
@ RUUDIE,

U will be surprised.
Have u seen any of the Prem teams play?
There is a massive improvement in the way these clubs now play, bes' believe it.
The humungous TV deal money has made the Prem almost a level playing field.
Have u seen Man City's buys and other relatively smaller clubs?
Don't put ur bets on it . . . . . . .The UEFA cup teams will give Arsenal and Liverpool a goodrun for they money.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Arsenal Fan Thread: For Gunners Only (Old) by Jackal(m): 8:29pm On Jul 29, 2007
@ Somze,

We are talking league goals ONLY not the total goals scored in a season.
Besides, Ronaldo is just 22 and Lampard is almost 30 the last time i checked.
If Ronaldo becomes available today . . . . . .He is worth nothing less than 60 million pounds.
Lampard in any football market now cannot be more than 15 million. You have to realise age aint on his side.

Ronaldo was the best young player at the world cup.
He lost the grand prize when he had the problems with Wazza and English fans voted him off the top spot.
Ronaldo blazed the EURO 2004 competition just like Wazza did for England.
Fat Frank was non-existent in that competition. Wazza's injury against the Portugese was why England crashed according to some school of thought.

Ronaldo is the new kid on the block. He won all the awards winnable in the country. Individual awards.
The 1st player to do so in 30 years after Andy Gray won everything in 1977!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ronaldo's case is even exemplary as he is a FOREIGNER.
How come Lampard does not even get a mention.  Where was Lampard in the PFA team?
Ronaldo is the best winger in this land both on the left side and right side . . . . .Ever heard of that?
A single player better than everyone on both wings . . . . . . Please take a bow for this lad. He's awesome.
PFA is voted by footballers themselves so i want that NOTED!!!!!!!!!

Please don't even put the issue of DIVING.
The biggest sky-diver is DROGBA.
Ronaldo is a kinder-garten student in that field while Drogba is at Masters level. tongue
Drogba even admitted to BBC sports that he DIVES. What a Arrow?
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Arsenal Fan Thread: For Gunners Only (Old) by Jackal(m): 8:11pm On Jul 29, 2007
@ Somze,

Lampard has been the highest goal scorer at Chelsea until last season.
He scored 16 goals each in the 1st 2 seasons(making him the highest scoring midfielder ever in the Prem) but Ronaldo scored 17 last season to beat Fat Frank's records.
Lampard may have become 2nd best in Europe but 60% of the reason is the English hype.
If Ronaldo was English . . . . . .He would win the european title and come 2nd in the world this season so lets be objective.
Who would u rather have in your team today?
Cristiano or Fat Frank? Please be honest on that.

Lets differentiate between Chelsea FC and Roman Abrahamovic.
Chelsea as a club is the 5th richest in the world compared to Man Utd's rich list dominance.
When these ratings are made, they look at the revenue generated by the clubs and NOT Roman's private accounts so leave Abrahamovic out of this.
The income generated by Man Utd @ OT is twice as much as Chelsea's if u consider that OT are sometimes used for International matches and advanced stage of FA cup finals plus loads of Cricket and Rugby games.
If u add all that to the merchandise sold at Far East Asia, Chelsea does not even come close.
Remember what Kenyon said . . . . . . . . .He said: "We shall make Chelsea a brand by year 2012".
It means they are NOT there yet and might never get there!!!!!!!!!!!!! grin grin grin grin
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by Jackal(m): 8:01pm On Jul 29, 2007
At least it will CURE SAHA's NIGGERITIS disease that always condemns him to the surgeon's knife every season.
That lad is CURSED with injuries and its just the way the plonker plays.
Give SAHA an aerial ball and he wants to use a bicycle kick to execute.
Supply SAHA a low pass and he wants a fly heading.
His technique is his let down and thats why he gets injured because he doesnt know what to use when . . . . . . . .

@ J-K
Gabriel Heinze's case is UNCLEAR.
Lets see what happens when he returns to camp this season.
Manchester fans will grill him to death for betraying the loyalty.
This was a guy we stood by when he had a season long injury and this is how he repays?
His only saviour is if he says he had nothing to do with the whole issue and blames his John Shittu kind of manager.

@ Somze,

You are having a laugh!!!!!!!!!!
Which club is the wealthiest in the world? Please don't say CHELSEA.
Nairaland heads will laugh at u if u do. Man Utd rakes the income more than any club in the world.

Vice Captain? You mean Fat Frank? I am having a fit.
Ronaldo just broke Lampard's record as the highest goal scoring Midfielder in the history of the Premiership.
Take Lamapard's penalties, deflected free-kicks out of his goals and what do u have? 3 or 4 goals a season.

If u don't believe me . . . . . .Take a peep at his International career.
Lampard has to be the most over-rated English player in the world.
What visible skills does Lampard have? Can't tackle, can't dribble and no technical ability!!!!!!!!!
Gerrard is miles better than him and u cannot argue that.
Paul Scholes at 33 is better than Lamps and if Scholes makes a You-turn on his international career then Lamps may forget ever wearing an England shirt. grin
Why's he always booed when he wears the 3 LIONS shirt? Cos everyone now knows he is a GLOBAL DECEPTION(like Y2K BUG) grin

There's a 10,000 pounds question on a TV quiz show.
I need your erm, erm, help on this one.
Which club among the BIG 4 in England has never featured in the UEFA Champions league final?
Please gimme the answer ASAP as line closes by 8pm tonight.
I WANNA win the prize so help me out. cool

@ Somze,
I think a FIT Louis Saha will contest with Drogba but u can never have him FIT.
They were neck to neck in the 1st few months of the season and in the UEFA scorer's chart until SAHA faded out to injuries.
He has banged 20 goals in the league before in his 1st season at Man Utd
Dimitar Berbatov, McCarthy and maybe a FIT Michael Owen can take it away from Drogba.

Ronaldo is not a striker. Cristiano is a winger and should be commended for scoring that many in one season.
How many goals did Robben, Joe Cole, Wright-Phillips, Hleb, Rosicky, Pennant, Kewell and other wingers in the Premiership scored compared to Ronaldo?
He had no business scoring those goals so its kind of remarkable for any winger/play-maker to have scored such goals.

How many assists did Drogba cop last season compared to Ronnie.
Where does Drog find himself when crosses come in? In the danger area.
Where does Ronnie find himself when crosses come in? He makes the crosses and passes.
Spot the difference?
If Fergie decides to play Ronaldo as a centre forward . . . . . . . . . .He will outscore DROGBA and u know it . . . . . . . .

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Arsenal Fan Thread: For Gunners Only (Old) by Jackal(m): 7:15pm On Jul 29, 2007
I have never seen Drogba in any Man Utd V Chelsea game save the FA cup final.
When the 2 giants met at OT in November last year, Vidic and Rio kept Drogba in their pockets and i cannot remember Drogba kicking any ball in the entire 90 minutes.
The whole of 2 seasons ago was the same thing as well so save it.
Matches between the 2 teams are always tight as both managers exercise caution and it kills the game.
Ronaldo/Giggs punished Chelsea in the famous 1-0 win at OT in Nov 2005. Check ur stats again

Drogba was quiet for 117 minutes in the Cup final until Vidic decided to let Ferdinand man-mark Drogba.
In the whole 90 minutes, i didnt see Drogba win any ball off Vidic and that shows he is not all that.
Why Chelsea fans all over now see their messiah in Drogba begs belief.
20 goals in 36 games in the league is not something to be really proud about. it's just slightly above 50% goal ratio.
33 goals all season is not too impressive as well when u consider the likes of RUUD bursting the 40 goal mark.
Pls remember Drogba has been a waste for 2 seasons but had a brilliant season in the 3rd. The feat might have been a FLASH in the PAN just like SISQUO's music career. grin 3 good songs in an album and ZILCH.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Arsenal Fan Thread: For Gunners Only (Old) by Jackal(m): 6:49pm On Jul 29, 2007
@ Somze,

Milan and Real will buy Van Persie ahead of Drogba.
Why? He still has many years ahead in his career. Drogba at the very max has about 2-4 years left to play football.
Robin Van Persie today will make your day as a football fan.
I watched this match as a football fan not like a MAN UTD fan and i must confess the young gun-slingers turned the HEAT on.
Besides Van Persie's brilliance, i think the pace of the English football also worked to their advantage.

Inter was slow building up while Arsenal plays fast and sharp passes.
The Milan boys couldn't cope and the way Arsenal turns defence into attack was breath-taking.
It was a good win but it doesnt mean they will WIN the title. It only shows they are promising and can contend with the BIG 2 if they stay FIT.
Can they be THIS consistent throughout the season? HELL NO.
This brand of football wont win games all the time. Sometimes a team needs to win UGLY and ARSENAL, unfortunately, don't win UGLY.
Thats the difference between Mourinho's men and Arsenal.
Strength in depth is another factor that might dent Wenger's hopes although he confessed he might add 2 more players to his squad this summer.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Arsenal Fan Thread: For Gunners Only (Old) by Jackal(m): 6:25pm On Jul 29, 2007
@ Somze,

Go back to your TV and watch this lad again or check on YOUTUBE.
To have done what he did in that circumstance requires loads of gutz and composure.
It is the kind of thing players do and get stabbed/shot by die-hard fans if he had goofed it.
Remember what Kanu did against Brazil at ATLANTA 96? The equaliser? It's almost SIMILAR.
He could have passed to his teammates but he took the Milan defender on and just dragged his feet with the left leg and hammered with the right leg into the roof of the net.

Drogba has no such class.
Didier is about sheer POWER, GRIT and DRIVE to beat goalkeepers. Drogba in Van Persie's shoes today would blast the ball straight and wld deflect to corner or TOLDO saving it.
Anutha player that could have done this is Dimitar Berbatov or Wayne Rooney. SAHA will miss it like an idiot that he is.
These kind of players play more with their brains than legs.

Anyways, AMSTERDAM tournament starts on Thursday.
Arsenal faces LAZIO and lets see how that turns out to be.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Arsenal Fan Thread: For Gunners Only (Old) by Jackal(m): 6:09pm On Jul 29, 2007
ARSENAL WINS THE EMIRATES CUP.
Fantastic goal scored by ROBIN VAN PERSIE.
It should be the GOAL OF THE TOURNAMENT.
I'm not too sure a player like DROGBA would have scored it given the circumstances.
Time running out, pressure building up and he crafted a goal in that manner . . . . . .This lad is brilliant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Van Persie's individual brilliance WON it for the GUNNERS.
This is the best piece of attacking football i have seen @ Emirates stadium.
Robin Van Persie should be handed the cup and the others can Bleep off where they belong to.
Another HENRY has just been born in this Dutch striker.

The presentations have started.
Sagna looks like a RAM with his hair-style. He fitted well into the team and supplied a sublime pass to Hleb which led to Hleb's goal.
Gallas as the captain has been handed the cup.
I feel for KOLO TOURE.
EBOUE is feeling like a RASTAFARIAN here. He printed I BELIEVE IN JAH on his vest. Whats that about?
ADEBAYOR'S jeans looks fake . . . . . . . Loyika should take him to HARRODS and get him a designer jeans. grin

The match has been played and won by VAN PERSIE.
On this note, i am leaving the commentary box from the Emirates Stadium for Nairaland Media.
Goodnight everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
