I'm hoping to begin serving our motherland by November and have already begun researching on possible states of deployment. As usual Abuja has always stuck out as a 'mecca' for those searching for opportunities to make wealth and a relatively safe and conducive environment.

Many say it's absolutely ludicrous serving in Abuja without any concrete plan or connections. But I'm just curious to hear from those of you who braved it anyways. For those already through with their service year, what was it like? And for those still on course, what are your challenges?

Bro no offense but Vector ain't deep. Sure he can be witty at times and with a versatile flow but his punchlines always come off as being comical even when he's trying to be serious. And his raps could be quite longwinded at times and that waters down his punchline a great bit and makes them predictable too. What M.I lacks in a versatile flow(unlike his bro Jessi jaggs), he makes up with really creative compact ryhmes that go straight to the point, and this makes his punchlines hit harder in my opinion. You're right that he appealed to the masses in his reply, but that's the point! At the end of the day who wins or who loses is decided by "Popular opinion". I was really impressed by M.I's reply, it showed he had foresight and experience. I like both of them but as of now M.l has got the 'W' and we all know who's got the 'L'

I carried a girl to a music show in Ibadan. Dbanj, Tonto dike, Phyno, niyola , oritsefemi and other big stars came.She begged that she wanted to go.. She was in University of Ibadan. Fast forward to the day of the show. My friend was going also..but before I left the office , I lost my wallet all my money. Including ticket money was in the wallet. .. VIP sat in the front .. Regulars at the back .. She now saw one of her school guys with VI p ticket too and they both went to their seat.

Show ended. My friend was angry saying I should leave the girl there. But it was late at night I can't do that. She came back after the show to the car. OK let me complete the story. .there was after party in a nearby club and all the celebs went there..I am kinda forgiving or maybe stupid. We went to the after party in the club. The queue was mad as hell .loads of people trying to enter, it was even difficult for the celebs to enter but DJ spinhall was a the gate telling the security to let the known faces and few people in I was in the front trying to enter also. DJ spinhall saw me, probably because of my all white fitted native. I sha looked good in it. Maybe he thought i was an artiste also.He pointed at me that they should let me in. When I entered I begged dj spinhall to please tell the security about my friends out. He obliged me and my friend and the girl was in. DJ spin hall is really cool sha .

So we entered the club. Just to see what's going on.. I can't buy drinks ..since I lost my wallet and broken so we just fed our eyes. Before I could say jack.. The babe don move leav us again go where the celebs dey. Saw that she was chilling with phyno.. Snapping pics. Me and my guy jus dey dull dey look. We no even get money to buy drink. Enjoy our self..
I and my guy left the club and the girl and went to the car. My guy vex say make I leave the girl dey go. I said nope.. I can't leave a 19 years old girl alone like that, cos she hoped on me to take her back. Long story sha my mumu self wait for the girl. Rap is also about collaboration and friendship, it all depends which path you choose to follow. Now it's normal to brag in your raps and all, but when one begins to throw shots whether directly or subliminally that could be interpreted as a diss to one or a group of people, you're asking for beef, most especially if there wasn't any prior animosity between the said parties. I just love rap so much because it reflects the mind and attitudes of the performer more than any genre of music I can think of. So in the end, it all depends on where your interests lie, starting beefs or forging friendships. Rappers do tend to get carried away sometimes in the spirit of competitiveness that they forget the consequences of their actions. Hiphop ain't were it ought to be in Nigeria yet, but I'd most rather prefer that the very few stars we had were cool with each other. And someone pls give Boogey some shine, that guy is dope!
