Bros with all the Intel mistakes still and do happen. I think our response to deaths like this have already been programmed into us. I wouldn't be presumptuous if I said that most Nigerians still believe that people who've been murdered under certain circumstances must have done something "bad" . That "good people" don't die certain deaths.

Honestly speaking , I think this unrealistic rationalized belief is as a result of gross insecurity and injustice that exists around us, and for the most part are out of our control. The last frontier of course, are our minds. So we've fortified this with various unrealistic notions that give us a sense of control over things,that somehow we can guard ourselves from untimely demise. We use that to make sense of the world we live in.

I strongly believe that many criminals are aware of this and use it to their advantage. I find it very absurd, and in some regard asinine, that one would believe that cultists would have more expertise in conducting investigations than the govt funded Police!? Come on bruh

Let me ask, how is going to pay for US IT certification with #300k earnings from Nigeria? Even if succeeds in going abroad as student, how is going to pay international students fee to continue with his program?

Okay I do see where you're coming from. I don't see any sense in him going through all those hassles for something as unpredictable as a musical profession. I'm just wondering who the hell would go abroad without a well constructed plan? If that's the position he's coming from then it clearly makes no sense. I'd admit to not know much about their "work laws" concerning music but what the hell is a work permit for if one can't earn money as a result of it? How do footballers earn that much money from foreign clubs? are you telling me they've all got green cards?... I've got a friend who recently got a work permit in the UK and his biggest stumbling block during the process was from the people in charge of processing his papers over here. You know we do things like mad people. But even before that he was issued a "temporary permit" with which he was able to work for stipulated hours, which of course meant there was a limit to what he could earn. But he beat that by taking jobs which only paid in cash, as then his earnings couldn't be "monitored". I don't think it's that different from the U.S, but who knows?

I'm sure there are "work-arounds" that'll allow him do his music. Music is a very flexible profession, it's not like it's a 9-5 or something. As for his target audience, it's his to decide. That aside, the Nigerian music scene is nothing to be compared with what holds abroad. Worse case scenario, he improves his business over there, gets more certifications, comes back here with enough funds to push through his music career. There's always time for music when other issues are properly met.

First thing first, his migration status is a big hurdle which he must overcome first before all that you mentioned.

Bros it all depends on what type of visa he gets. Even with a student's visa he could still get a work permit, it doesn't take that long. It's not as difficult as you think. Furthermore I gave my advice on the assumption that he'd gotten all that figured out because he clearly didn't give details.

Bros my sincere advice to you is to go abroad, grow your business and do your music on the side. The Nigerian music terrain is to rigid and uncertain. It's money draining too, and not until you're in the "big leagues" before you can start getting good returns.

Over there you could very well be "indie" without a record label and still command good figures depending on your musical reach. There's quick return on investments from pure physical sales and streaming. People hardly stream here, and record sales are a minus or at the very best meager all thanks to piracy.

Bros go abroad, don't waste the opportunity if you've got it. You seem very focused and intelligent, so I know you'd make the right choice.
