Buhari's victory is not a popular mandate. He never secured massive votes from Nigerians. He failed woefully in the South East (couldn't even secure 25% votes there), failed woefully in the South South and won only marginally in the South West. He never got any massive votes from the South, infact he lost in the South.

If you want your federal unis to do well....pay higher fees for good facilities, and even better lecturers. Or get your government to find an extra N10 trillion naira in the next few years.

The Federal character law written into our constitution requires Ministers to cut across the Federation. What if certain states the ministerial nominees Buhari have to work with all defected from PDP? What will Buhari do?

Government is a continuum and for the progress of Nigeria there is nothing wrong retaining so Ministers. I think Olusegun Aganga is doing a fine job and should be retained to continue the diversification of our economy

Those figures are true. You can also check the one for previous years. I feel bad we all hold federal government responsible while the real thieves who are the governors are neglected. Each state get their allocation every year now for a state like Delta you multiply that by 8 years then you find out half of that money is likely to be missing.

GEJ is not competent enough to talk to us about sacrifices. This was a president who budgeted 1 billion for his personal feeding, had fleets of presidential jets and was planning to increase the number, his wife was appointed as an absentee permanent secretary in bayelsa state and corruption reached monumental proportions under his administration. IF WE WANT ADVICE ON HOW TO FAIL WOEFULLY WE KNOW WHERE TO FIND U.

It will be interesting to see if Buhari compels the military to free these so-called Journalists. Of course the journalists could be freed due to pressure from Buhari in a way that hides the fact but I'm not a fan of those paradoxes whose purpose is to justify our purpose.

An example of a paradox that justifies our purpose is the one from which neither Johnathan or the North was able to escape leading up to the election and which still persists now. This is how it persists - if Bokoharam continues to wreck havoc in the North, Johnathan supporters will argue that, Buhari and the North want to keep up the terrorism for a short time longer just so it wont look suspicious that they are the ones sponsoring Bokoharam. On the other hand, supporters of Buharri will argue that the terrorism continues because Johnathan is the sponsors of Bokoharam and wants to destroy the north and Buhari's reputation. If the terrorism ends, Johnathan supporters will argue that Buhari ended it because he had the power to as their sponsors.

The upshot is, Buhari should not intervene, let the military do their job. If Buhari intervenes he'll rightly be viewed as a puppet of outside powers and Nigerians should be sure that we're in trouble as a nation. If the military frees the journalists we should not accuse Buhari of applying pressure unless there's irrefutable evidence.
