favor914: Wailer please try go borrow common sense, and stop exhibiting your ignorance about the aviation sector.
Mr. Lecturer, why not educate us?
The same way politicians were salivating all over Dangote Refinery, while FOUR refineries lie dead with constant horrendous overheads, we are now flying Ethiopian Airlines-registered planes, abi?
Please tell us, is Nigeria Air our National Carrier, with OUR planes, just under Ethiopian Airlines' management, or, as the pictures clearly show, the single plane in Nigeria Air colours is actually an Ethiopian Airlines plane, only repainted?
Granted, maybe I don't know anything about the aviation sector, but I know about PPP and concessioning.
RealLordZeus: Hadi Siroka fvked up true true coz its a case of what is ordered vs what was delivered but what David wrote is not new Ethiopian Airlines manages Nigeria Air , so If the airplane is registered under their name, there is no story
So Nigeria Air is using Ethiopian Airlines planes?
Do the planes belong to Nigeria or not?
This is a case of Buhari's" Nigeria Air" versus the defunct Nigeria Airways.
At least the old National Carrier owned the planes.
"Nigeria" Air in this context is just a franchise of another country's airline!
leanonme82: Hahahahaaaa! You wish. Go on twitter and see reviews at the #renewedhopeconcert hashtag. Abuja residents never had so much fun on a THURSDAY NIGHT. If it was friday, road no go fit contain anybody.
It was for invited people only.
Very specific people were allowed access. Only totally confirmed loyalists allowed. I can show you the ''Access Card'', if you ask nicely
There goes your ''Abuja residents'' theory.
Most of those hyping on Twitter were not in Abuja to say less of even smelling the venue.

Any questions now, he'll be like: ''it was burnt in the fire incident in my house in Kano''.

Arson is a very old tool in corruption in the whole world, not just here in Nigeria.
angelEmade: ...the sugar in a plate of semo, amala, akpu, pounded yam, etc. Will amount to about a box of cube sugars. The irony here is that the glucose and other monosaccharides in these drinks are a form of carbohydrates just like the disaccharides in complex sugars like sucrose (normal sugar) . Although all carbohydrates are reduced to glucose and consequently glycogen which are stored in the liver in complex metabolism reactions in the body, you cannot exactly compare these simple sugars to normal sugars. . And ironically, the malt we so much prefer to soda drinks contain Maltose which are complex sugars. A molecule of maltose can comparatively yield two molecules of monosaccharides in these soda drinks. . My point is that starch and carbohydrates like corn syrups and the foods I mentioned up there are much worse than these drinks. And although their intake should be controlled...it would be a futile endeavour if you keep supplementing them with excess starchy foods. . Malt is not a saviour either.
Very astute presentation.
However, the rate of release of these sugars into the bloodstream should also be considered.
It can take up to 4 hours to digest Akpu, but Fanta dumps all that sugar into the system in an instant.
Also remember that Coke or 7-Up won't fill up the belly like, say, Amala would. It will rather cause the body to crave more sugars and carbs.
We cannot avoid carbs, in fact, we should reduce carb intake in favour of proteins and fiber-rich foods, but these fizzy drinks?
I cant say if this problem is peculiar and I would sincerely appreciate mature comments and suggestions.
My marriage is just about a year old though I had an on/off online friendship with my now-wifey since 2017 before we decided to get serious late 2021. Our physical courtship was kinda brief - about 6 months - while we both resided in the same state but different Cities (about 3hrs apart).
I used to be very sexually active in my previous relationships - trust me when i say I'm quite good in bed - but with my now-wifey, I decided to limit the sex part cos i felt at a man's age (tho my sisters also advised same) that there r other things to look out for in a woman. So basically, we did not get too intimate during courtship. Worryingly, even the few times we did it, I rarely got to orgasm cos she couldn't match my stamina.
Fast forwards to 1 month into the marriage, I was diagnosed with High blood pressure which the doctors advised BP drugs might affect my libido but it will later regulate/normalize. Then the problems started! First, I get aroused normally with good turgidity enough to penetrate my Wifey's tight "body" but I tend to loose erection after some mins of thrusting and that's the end. Never comes back on again. Few times I was able to finish but that's not without alot of mental imagination to make me finish ontime.
Very worryingly for me, I decided to check myself with other women and dear readers, I achieved stronger turgidity and no fail moment. That was my first shock.
Summarily, my wife and I still dont live together but this situation has gone worse now. I got no sexual feelings towards her and na by force we dey manage run 1 round in weeks. Meanwhile, I get sex requests from other girls on a daily. I'm very sad about this situation especially when i look at my wife because she ought to be enjoying this thicke alone forever.
As a man, you can imagine how you'd feel when your woman feels ur impotent while other women are bugging you for your time.
Various extreme thoughts have crossed my mind and I'm seriously bothered which isn't even good for my health. Should i confess to my wife?

JungleJustice01: Both parents have passed no will was left. I basically leave the rents collected from the house rent to my only younger brother.
Now the house is deteriorating and I want to fix it, like give it a major facelift but the funds will be coming from me entirely. I don't have a personal house of mine but I believe an overhaul of this place can give leverage to increase the rent as it is in a good part of town.
My fear is after this investment, will I be able to recoup any funds? If I am to pass away, will my kids have any access to the property?
I love my brother but I've heard and read stories of human behavior especially in situations where there is no documentation.
What do I do?

REVEALERSlight: And yet only few people celebrated him. That's why talent or gifts are not enough. Knowing how to promote what you have and And having spiritual influence is important.
Talent plus promotion plus spiritual and physical influence is what makes people celebrate you.
Many celebrities out there are been celebrated not only because of their talent but also because spirits and humans are promoting them.
Let don't seek spiritual influence from satan but seek only from Jesus.
The (authentic) National Chairman of Labour Party, Barr. Julius Abure, has stated that the party is not interested in any government of unity as being canvassed by members of the ruling party.
Mr Abure stated this while playing host to Akpabio, some Senators-elect and other members of the APC who came to solicit the support of the Labour Party in order to emerge as the next senate president of the country in the upcoming 10th National Assembly.
In the meeting, after stating why they came on the courtesy call, Akpabio made allusion to the pleas of the president-elect for opposition to sheath their sword and support his incoming government to which the National Chairman responded and said that such discussion was “off limit” as the Labour Party is not interested in any such arrangement.
One however wonders why the APC high echelons chose to visit Barr Abure and not Mr Lamidi Apapa who some elements are cheering on to claim that he is the ‘chairman’ of Labour Party.
