Nairaland GeneralRe: Should Gay Marriages Be Allowed In Africa? by JJYOU: 11:08am On Mar 09, 2009
we have enough thieves in naija to make robbery acceptable and legal?
we have enough paedophiles to start accepting it as the norm

when do you guys suggest we start accepting every perverted behaviour as norm.
it should be free for all not just the choice sin of the vocal minority.

what a life.

@bomolowo,
such permissive attitude has allowed Western Europe to be the hot spot it is today.  Can you compare the closed societies of Eastern Europe and Africa to Western Europe? the pros still out ways the cons.
this statement of your is utter crap and you know it. come tell that to the british govt whose social security budget is sinking the chancellor.

the lot that bought into the permisive society are the heavy burden the various states of europe is carrying today.

why dont you people learn that every action has its consequences good or bad.

if you are interested this is what the homosexual lobby wont want you know

So she's there driving herself insane, going from doctor to doctor, thinking something's wrong with her and he's chilling waiting for it to play out. Seems pretty mean. I think for somewhat irrelevant stuff like where you were last night, you can do that and have no major consequences when the truth, that you spent all night at my place instead of spending it with her, comes out.

Please, don't be pretentious. Our culture is to be naked, so there. We were naked before the british came so what are you talking about? All you hypocrites make me laugh.

"Women of nowadays expose their breasts, blah blah blah" It only shows how ignorant you are. There is nothing wrong with nudity. get the mess over it.
mmmmmmmm. nothing wrong with nudity. i dont know about that. are you not bothered about the moral bankruptcy in nigeria too?

what is right when you are not allowed to marry who you love.
every good mother knows not to say yes to their kid all the time. what has love got to do with warped thinkings? what has love got to do with self indulgence?

some things are outrightly wrong.  this is vile and wrong every where.  the world is  bad enough as it is.  the consequences of our private lifestyles on the general well being of our society is being felt as we speak. today Europe is reaping the fruits of it 1960'S free for all permissiveness.

who knows what will happen in 20yrs from now when we begin to reap and harvest  the consequences of the permissive society we are building today.

do we learn? does history not teach us anything?

really it is a sad news for female bankers, but let me tell all ladies seeking jobs in this commercial banks should pray to god for protection and let God provide a suitable job for them,if it matters go for self employed it will save their life, must cases the ladies fall into wrong hand and after be use by this lucrative rich customer and be dump forever and mostly it is very difficult for them to get married because of busy schedule for potential clients who take them to bed before deposit money in their bank in the name of permanent job and promotion, please ladies resist the temptation of big salary been offer by this banks, may God be with all jobs seekers.thanks
didnt we say this last year in one of the banking threads? is it only female bankers living off immoral earnings in naija?

Foreign AffairsRe: This Can Never Happen In Nigeria - Zambian Ex-leader's Wife Jailed by JJYOU: 3:01pm On Mar 07, 2009
Theblessed:
Yes, it can happen in Nigeria if the Head of State is truely God fearing and bold enough to take the Bull by the horn - to show these shameless rogues who are ruining our blessed country where they belong - in the pits.

To be able to do this, he has to work with people shares his dreams.  People hungry enough in  restoring back Nigerians' honour and pride.  He has to set out the structures to deal with those who will attempt to deviate from the rules because there are many of them waiting in the wings for an opportunity to strike.  Therefore, humiliate and sack them publicly (just like this Zambian ex-leader's wife) including those unscrupulous lawyers eager to defend them at trials.  Introduce laws that places life ban on them/their relatives from taking public posts.  Nigeria need drastic measures to restore public faith in all aspects of government.  Also, Nigerian internal security is rubbish and should be seriously looked at in order to achieve some kind of confidence in our country.  It's not only those with inflence that need security in Nigeria, every Nigerian is entitled to that right, and to feel well secured in their own country.  It saddens me that living and working abroad, most Nigerian can boast of being more secured in a foreign land than in their own blessed country.  Shame, shame and shame on you all so called leaders of Nigeria.    There are lots of intimidation/bullying among Nigerians - political assasinations, armed robbery etc.  Nigeria has enough police and the military to protect its citizens yet, they are suffering, whyhuh  The thought of going to bed and waking up with different gangs of merciless armed robbers (who feel you own them something) on your door at night is frightening and no body cares.   We have enough laws in place but no one bothers to effectively enforce the laws because, these serious crimes are not directly perpetrated on those with power and influence in Nigeria because, they cocooned themselves with security henchmen as a result, who cares about the suffering of poor Nigerians.  To them I say wait, you can run but you can't hide - your day shall come just like those before you and just like this Zambians Mrs ex-leader's wife.
nice write up. maybe in year 4000AD would you see this happen in nigeria. nigerians are not ready yet for this.
