Enjoying the talks, feeling sorry for the poster. Just get up and go, dont grieve anymore. She will come back easier if you pretend nothing happened than when you go abegging. Let your child be, just remove your mind from them for one year and watch things, time is the best healer. She may come back begging after one year and you may even have grown so strong as to refuse her.

If her beuty is the only thing you miss, then go out searching for a girl and you will be amazed at the type of 'sample' fresh babies God is moulding everyday. I used to think my babe was the prettiest thing on two legs till I went to her school and was staring like JJC on campus.

Men should have control in their marriage, absolute control for that matter. The woman will have the house to look after while the man runs around to provide for the whole family. I think that is the bible position on those things so woman, be submisive! Women should of course have a say in everything but not to start contesting with the man for house control, and any woman not ready to submit should come and marry a man, fend for the family, while the husband sits at home watching home movies grin

In cases where the man cannot provive comfort for the whole family, the woman can work but only with the approval of his husband. If she is hell bent on working against the husband's will, she should leave the marriage as the wife of the poster did and the husband should hold his heart and get over it. That is why men should be stronger

God created this worrld and made things easy and comfortable for us all, it is only the things we bring down on ourselves that have entangled our world with much confusion and complications. Things like education, working lady, and higher carreer pursuits are all created by us to make things tougher and encourage higher standards which will encourage more break ups in mordern marriage.

Criticize this writeup but pick the little lessons.

Redeemed Church Acquires N4bn Aircraft
By Chinedu Eze, 03.10.2009

The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) has acquired a new aircraft for N4 billion ($28 million).
The aircraft, a Gulfstream 4XP, with number 707EA, arrived Lagos from Bahamas last Sunday.
Industry insiders said the Gulfstream 4XP is a transatlantic aircraft that has the capacity of about 15 passengers depending on the configuration.
The church acquired the aircraft years after the General Overseer of Living Faith Worldwide, a.k.a. Winners Chapel, Bishop David Oyedepo, acquired a Challenger aircraft, with number D6640, which was parked a few meters away from Adeboye’s Gulfstream when THISDAY visited the airside of General Aviation Terminal (GAT) yesterday.
A pilot told THISDAY that the aircraft and many others privately owned by Nigerians are not registered with Nigerian code “N” because “they usually  say that they chattered it for a while whenever they are questioned. You know Bishop Oyedepo of Winners has been operating this aircraft (pointing to the Challenger) for sometime, but it has remained in foreign registration number.”
THIDAY also learnt that Oyedepo has ordered for another  aircraft bigger than the one acquired by Adeboye.
By 2.00 pm yesterday, officials who looked like engineers were seen inspecting the aircraft, which was allowed to rev for hours.
Besides buying the aircraft, a lot of money would be spent in maintaining it and paying the crew, in addition to the landing and parking charges.
Unlike a commercial aircraft which is always in the air, the private jet will spend more time on the ground and must be checked before taking off.
An aeronautical engineer with one of the airlines said besides the mandatory checks, much money would not be spent on its maintenance for now “because it is a new aircraft, but you know that there are rotables which are time-bound parts which are changed regularly.
“The same with refitting parts. These are parts that are changed after every 12 or 15 calendar months whether you are flying or not. So, acquiring a private aircraft means that you are ready to be spending money to keep it going.”
Expressing surprise on the purchase, a former official of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), who craved anonymity, said with the present global economic recession, it was shocking that anyone, even a business man could spend such money on a private aircraft.
He said: “This is unbelievable. You know the amount of poverty in this land, which I know is widespread. How can he acquire such aircraft when he knows that members of his church are suffering?
“Look, even the Pope does not have a private jet. I am a Catholic. It is true that Catholic is the richest church in the world in terms of artefacts but the Pope flies Alitalia. How can the Pope tell the church that he wants a private jet?”
Since 1999, many Nigerians have acquired private aircraft.

This JJYOU guy must be an ignoramous. You don't get it do you? Nigeria's economy has been destroyed for a long time. We know there are no strong banks in naija but some are stronger than the other. The banks like first bank,UBA, Union bank e.t.c that has been around for a while. They have survived the good times and the bad times are the ones that we need. they have some degree of steadiness in their hands. Not the get-rich quick banks like intercontinental.
in your rich and wise brain people and institutions are solid because has been around for a while or longevity. you are very clever. it didnt occur to you that banks like first bank,UBA, Union bank were all majority govt owned and propped up for years. so what is your point?. almost all the 3 will collapse immediately without govt patronage

What economy?? Nigeria's economy has been in comatose since the 1980s !!! The only remedy is for us to know what works and what doesn't! We need to know which bank is pretty and which ones are cosmetic. Same with the politicians. How can a country prosper when the major instutitions in that country are dripping with lies and deceits. The collapse of sick banks will only make the country better. Let the healthy banks take over the sick banks and do a proper re-cosolidation that is transparent and honest. QUIT FOOLING YOURSELF !!! and SOLUDO has to go. He's drinking in the barrels of lies that the banks are producing, he's so-called consolidation is plain fraud !!
MR KNOW IT ALL, FACT IS THERE IS NO STRONG SOLVENT BANK IN NAIJA. THEY ARE FIGURES COOKING INSTITUTIONS. i worked in the system far back as the 1980's basically it was one massive conhouse accepting deposits and fraudulent accounts for facilities they know are dodgy.

the returns the banks file into CBN in naija are the lies.

Spot on and I could not agree with you less. To be honest when i watch that emmanuel TV I feel jelous and impressed at the way he helps the needy. His intentions are out of sight to humans but only God and we can only assess him on what we see. someone buys a jet for 4 billion and another spends a fraction of that in helping the poor.

Most of the other ones their money is used in building univerities which are non assisble to 80% of the congregation due to the price.
why dont your imams use the money they get to open schools and charge even the 1%? WHY DO THEY LET ALL THOSE POOR MOSLEM BEGGERS INTO THE STREETS? IS THAT NOT AN OBLIGATION IN ISLAM?

People like this guy makes me sick. If the bank is not healthy, let them collapse instead of doing business on false pretense. Let us know the real strong bank in Nigeria!!! Intercontinental and Zenith is not one of the strong banks.

Can you imagine that?? When other banks are begging for more customers and opening accounts at a very low amount this useless bank is increasing their their opening deposit. I have predicted this last year about this intercontinental bank. Thay are not as strong as they claim. Most of their assets are owned by foreign banks in terms of loan and credits. They have bit more than they can chew. I warned every investors that i knew not to buy intercontinental stock and see what happened. Intercontinental is among the few Nigerian banks that run to the western banks for loans at every opportunity they get, so now that these western banks are having problems what do you think will happen to intercontinental?? Intercontinental bank just drastically reduce their staff salary and use the cut to help their employee buy the bank's worthless shares. Can you believe that? i warned people to stick to our traditional banks like First bank, union bank e.t.c Most of these bank's ceos like Akingbola,Ovia e.t.c will end up in jail for deceiving Nigerians.
which of the ailment do you prefer oga? what you dont know is along with these banks going down is your country economy too. be very careful what you wish for. go to the banking threads you will see i am not their best fan. i have written something agaist their foreign currency account last year. however, i know we need to be careful so you dont cause undue distress because nigeria has much to loose than you know if they go down.

@Nwaka77 & BrownJay,

For all the tantrum of english you have posted here, you are yet to point out the reason why she has refused to have more than one child for her husband. All what you are saying are pure assumptions and none of which holds water.
There is significant power in agreement and when two people (married in this case) agree on something,  there must also be concrete reason why it has to be broken or not fufilled. Not just because I/SHE/HE/THEY SAID SO. In any union, such things does not exist.
I rather have an 1800 mindset than have your egoistic attitude. One can only pity your husband/wife.
The first bolded part makes sense but on the second part, you completely lost it. Because, it is  either you are both very naive or plain stupid. Can you please inform us how many families have broken up due to inability/ or refusal to have children?
How do you complete a man without having children for him? and to say this is the least of your worries? It is only obvious to anyone that both of you understand nothing about marriage.
It also seems that you do not understand the meaning of the word PRIMARY. I did not say the ONLY role of a woman is limited to having children. I said, it is primary and indeed paramount for a woman to bear kids for her husband. That is the ultimate for any woman.

What you are proposing if this: If you have a headache, cut off your head. Pathetic.

PS: My wife will tell you that she is married to one of the best husbands God sent to planet earth. Because, there is no me, her or I. There is US.
you give me hope that this place is not all bad thank you.

when the man was paying school fees there was no maintaining body figure it is only when the option to work comes all the se excuses surfaces. i dont know who said insanity is doing same thing over and expecting different results.

JustGood:
You obviously dont know what a marriage involves.
The wrong attitude is to go into marriage without knowing what it entails. The horrible modern attitude is one that says you should date any man do whatever you like cos you're a woman and the man will always bear the brunt. . . you can be as daft as you want in a relationship and no one will ever point out your stupidity because you are a woman huh
you obviously missed my point all together. i dont think the mrs or my inlaws will agree with your opinion. we are both committed and faithfull paid up member of our TEAM.

They once used to be the best bank in the country. But because of the financial crisis, they are panicking. Can you imagine a bank that spends your money for you.

1. They started withdrawing 100/month on any account connected internet banking.

2. They have increased the minimum balance for savings accounts to 10,000 naira.

3. The lowest minimum balance account is the savings account and thats 10,000 minimum balance.

4. They deduct 10naira per sms they send to your phone. So everytime you deposit and withdraw, they send an sms, and you loss 10 naira.

They keep saying this is to serve you better. Their share prices have dropped. They will eventually kill themselves.

If you have money with them, take it out before they go bankrupt!
this is gross irresponsibility. do you know how many families depend on this bank for their livelihood? you are so unfair especially in this time of uncertainty any rumour like this will go places and make people react in fear.
Christianity EtcHow To Recognize God by JJYOU(op): 3:38pm On Mar 09, 2009
How to Recognize God
R. T. Kendall Charisma Channels - Prayer
Print PDF

Girl worshippingI can think of nothing worse in the world than for something that God is in to be happening and I not recognize it.

When Jacob awoke from his sleep, he thought, "Surely the Lord is in this place, and I was not aware of it." -Genesis 28:16

The most wonderful thing that can happen to anybody is for God to turn up. The problem is that we don't always recognize Him at the time, and we only see later that it was God.

The trouble is, we think God can only come in one particular way, and that's the way we've met Him. The question is this: If He turned up in an unexpected way, would we affirm Him?

The sooner we learn to recognize the Lord, the better. For some, it may take years to see that God has been in a situation with them; for others, it may take only a few seconds. But the narrower the time gap, the better, for it shows our hearts are in tune with what God is doing. I can think of nothing worse in the world than for something that God is in to be happening and I not recognize it.

If you're not a Christian, then it's also true for you that the sooner you realize when God is there, the better, because the Bible says, "My Spirit will not contend with man forever" (Gen. 6:3). Let me put it like this. It may be that whenever you hear preaching, you sense that the Holy Spirit is dealing with you, that God is on your case. You know that the preacher wouldn't know much about you, if anything at all, and the only way he could speak in this manner was if God had led him to do so.

If you are a Christian and the Lord turns up and you don't recognize Him, you are impoverished since you miss seeing God for who He is, then. I guarantee you will wish later you had seen it was the Lord sooner. Be open to the unexpected time. Be open to the unexpected manner in which God might turn up. He came to Jacob in a dream. God can do that. Jacob affirmed God. Fortunately for him, it didn't take him long. The question is, how long will it take you?

you can prevent the weeping with free education.
JustGood:
Its not pathetic!

What exactly makes it pathetic for anyone to have expectations in their marriage? When I was getting married, my wife and I knew we expected to have children so it would have been unfair of her to tell me that she did not want children because she wanted to keep her body.

Rather than insult the guy, you should look at things objectively and from both sides. Does the man not also have a right to want to raise a family? They are both just wrong for each other.

spare us this thing about labeling some attitude as 1800s. There are many 1800s attitude that are much better than the wanton misdemeanours that go on these days in the name of advancement.

Women who want to keep their bodies should marry men who also want them to be that way. What keeps Nigeria down is the inability of people (both government and the governed) to reason well and not just apply things simply because thats what applies somewhere else.
i think 1800's atitude is allowing some other womans son educate you to keep your body. greed.

Why wont he allow this, if it means so much to me. he is a loving man whom i totally adore and is not the usual stuck up traditional african man. so whats with him and this issue.
