As for the moment, I don't think you will be able to figure him out, just enjoy the blur and fun of it, but be sharp and wise with all your decisions, so that you give yourself a head start into the whole thing.

Nobody is perfect and even if you find out he was just like the others, you weren't tricked, you just loved earnestly, better that than to find out he was earnest but you were too busy trying to figure out his game.

I spent 200,000 my husband gave me to keep for completion of our house rent in December, 2008 on stock market.  I wanted to surprise him by making double of the money he gave me but end up losing 3/4 of it.  I bought NEM 20,900 units for 4.13, and 20,000 units Firstalum 5.42, when I sold NEM it was 1.90 and lost 2.23.  The Firstalum there was no buyer to buy it.  I did not how to tell my husband that the money he gave me for the completion of our house rent is no more.  I finally told him after selling the NEM because I did not know how to raise the money I had to open up to him.  It was so painful to him cos I did not discuss with him before investing in stock but I told him I wanted to surprise him.  I learnt my lessons never to take any decision that will affect the family alone.  I will not invest money that is meant for something on stock again but money that I don't have need for, for atleast 4 years.

i believe every family must have checks in almost all financial matters. my wife is permitted to spend her money as she likes but not permitted to spend the family money without consultation.  before the feminist brigade starts trowing tantrum she is a do gooder by nature. she only need to hear some sob story.

You Nigerians and your funny sentiments; as with the Oshodi market and other illegal markets around Lagos Fashola gave them at least 6 months notice but the market people will refuse to tell you that in the name of looking for pity. He built them a new structure at the rate of N1.8 million per shop and has given them 10 years to complete the payment. I mean what more are you asking for. I wouldn't give them 10 years or even build a structure for that matter because the y committed an illegality in the first place. Are we waiting for these so called poor people to start erecting shops on Ozumba Mbadiwe and Lekki expressway before we speak the truth. We all bear witness to the traffic insanity in Lagos state partly caused by these illegal structures. In my own experience we human beings are hard to please. The law's the law let no one involve silly sentiments
