Nigerians in their ignorance will not take this news seriously. Some will even dismiss it with a wave of the hand. Until the merchants of death succeed in introducing the drug into the market and it starts causing major havocs. Then everybody will start blaming the devil.

God won’t have mercy when things are not done correctly!

Look at the environment where highly volatile substances are being stored?

What mercy does God have to give when things are not properly done.

If the government had destroyed that building, Maoist people will still complain about how wicked the government happen to be.

We need start doing things correctly. The more we start focusing on cause and prevention, the more we will not be requesting mercy from God
Don't mind them o. Just imagine the kind of environment drugs are stored in Nigeria in the 21st century.

Some of the drugs (ingredients, packages) and chemicals being sold in that market may be prone to explosions but those guys won't know.

This is one of the consequences of having illiterates handle drugs and chemicals. They'll not be able to tell which chemical is prone to explosions or poses dangerous hazards to themselves and the society.

Tomcorp:
Dear Nigerian Mothers, brainwashing your daughters at early age to grow up and look for a man that will solve all of her generational problems is a fast way to destroy her life. This should not be the goal and vision of a female child. It is an abuse of purpose. There are too many damaged young ladies out there with this erroneous mindset, planted in them by their mothers. When they can't find the "messiah" they seek. They seem to be lost and frustrated in life.
This is what I have been saying. They mess up their daughter's psyche by planting in her mind the idea of a rich man to carry their family burdens. Then I wonder why they still spend money sending her to school.

Please I beg you with the name of God. I'm on my knees ma. Please get that 19 year old homosexual pedophile arrested before he goes on to abuse other young, vulnerable boys in the future. Please ma. Your son is not his first victim. Please. For the sake of justice for your son, get that pedophile arrested and imprisoned for the rest of his miserable life.

For your young son, I'm sincerely sorry for what happened. Please ma, have your husband send you and the kids abroad or relocate your family to where he's based. Your son needs intensive therapy or this traumatic rape experience will scar him for life.

I know it's not easy but it's not about you. Save your son ma. Don't allow his abuser get away with it.

God will strengthen you.

Modified::: It seems to me that the OP is having second thoughts about prosecuting that rapist.

Madam, if you allow that pedophilic rapist go scot-free out of sentiments or cowardice, the blood of the young/old men the pedophile will rape in the future will be on your head and God will require it of you on judgment day.

Evil flourish because good people do nothing or look the other way.

Do the right thing. It might be hard but you'll be saving many lives down the road.

If someone had killed Hitler at childbirth, 3 million Jews would not have lost their lives. If the Japanese government had done the right thing by imprisoning that Nairalander rapist that goes by the monicker Oyinbogoju at the first instance, the 15 year old child he went on to rape in the US would have been spared.

Your son is not his first victim and will not be his last. By letting the pedophile rapist off the hook, you embolden him to continue but cover his tracks more carefully.

Think for a minute if your friend had not discovered him? He would have continued abusing your son for years. He's a predator. He doesn't care about you or your son.

Put. Him. Down. Now.

I've said my own.
You should know that it is not possible for the op to prosecute the boy because her mother is involved in the matter. She would have done that readily if the boy was from her husband's family.

The best bait is for her to just treat the small boy and get him counseled properly. Even the culprit in this case still needs to be reprimanded seriously and then counseled because 19years old can be argued to still be a child especially in this part of the world.

A 19years old boy is still a juvenile and under the influence of hormones. So, I'll suggest he is disciplined the normal African way and then counseled. From Op's narration, the boy's parents are no more and there has been no serious person in is life guiding him through life, I believe that can explain why he picked up that bad behavior. He needs a father-figure in his life to guide him.

Good for them, evil people. All other things being apart. Even if the guy agreed to donate kidney to her and it didn’t work out. The best thing is to make the boy comfortable. For the fact that he agreed to help even if he will be paid later. Some people are so used to using people for their selfish gains.

If I was in ekweremadu position, the moment that guy agreed to help my daughter, he will never lack anything again, weda the help worked or not.

All other things being equal, if they had treated that guy well and made him comfortable, he wouldn’t have gone to the police in the first place.
Exactly!

Knowing how badly people crave to leave Nigeria, all Ekweremmadu should have done was find a way to set the guy up for permanent stay in the UK. I am sure he has the capacity to do that. It wouldn't even cost him much considering his connections and wealth.

Left for you ladies, a guy should never have a choice of the type of woman he marries. You're the only ones who should not settle for less.

We have accepted that we do not deserve to have an erect1on talk more of a woman's love when we're broke. Now allow us to make our choices of a virgin, young, under 22 girls as a reward for our hustles and money. That's not too much to ask for.

Place the blame where it is and stop sounding daft.

My only problem is the selective nature of the so called fight against corruption by Buhari's government.

You claim you are fighting corruption yet you are campaigning for a corrupt individual like Tinubu to take over from youhuh That alone brings to ridicule all your acclaimed anti-corruption stance.

News like this would have been great if it doesn't have partisan undertone or if the corrupt politicians in the APC camp are not spared.

Honestly! They were careless. They should have anticipated that their enemies will not be happy especially with the latest announcement by Davido that they'll be getting married next year.

Even Chioma sef didn't act wise like a typical Igbo lady. That boy should have been a top priority to her in that house.

All those properties for just one man!

That's in a country where there's so much poverty and absence of critical infrastructures. Where unemployment is at all-time high and the majority of the people cannot afford three square meals in a day.

Tell me why karma will not visit Ekweremmaduhuh I wish same fate could befall all our corrupt politicians. The likes of Tinubu need to be probed and I'm sure he has more ill-gotten properties outside the country than Ekweremmadu.

When a senator is eventually recalled or sacked by his constituency, such a senator receives one-off payments (Severance gratuity) of N7,452,736.50
And your source ishuh

I have always known that the public exaggerate the salaries and allowances of the political office holders in this country, especially those that want to ask for salary increment. The pay is not as usually stated.

However, the corrupt ones among the Politicians take advantage of their offices to loot public funds meant for developmental projects. This is same as corrupt lecturers that demand for bribes from students, doctors that steal resources in government-owned hospitals to treat patients at exorbitant prices in their private hospitals, or secondary school principals that collect bribe money from WAEC students to allow them cheat and pass.

In the other thread someone was congratulating the federal government for withholding half of ASUU salary. He is yet to realize that when 2 elephants fight the grass suffers. His comment is like one who has not gotten admission to government university or schools in private one.
Why would the lecturers always readily turn their fights against the studentshuh After wasting 8 months of their lives, they're now being denied their results! Why couldn't ASUU challenge the university management in court for withholding the salary they never worked for anywayhuh

ASUU should know that there's a limit to what people can take, especially the youths!

At this rate, I'll personally support the students should they organize themselves and go on a lynching spree against those lecturers. Nonsense!

Op, you're stvpid I must tell you!

Davido is a public figure whose kind gestures to humanity has endeared to many people.
He's one great guy I like because of how he reaches out to the needy and less privileged in the society. Among his colleagues, he's one I know who radiates love for humanity.

Being a public figure, it is only normal for people to know more about him and things that happen to him than those you mentioned.

The little boy, Ifeanyi, was known and loved by many of us who love his father. So, his death in such a tragic manner was a rude shock and painful to many, hence many are mourning him.
