Alcohol-based sanitizers are effective against both bacteria and viruses!
Politics › Re: COVID-19: Enugu Approves Assurance Package For Doctors, Other Health Workers by Jman06(m): 10:33am On Mar 26, 2020
Right step in the right direction!

However, this gesture should be extended to all health workers with non exempted! It should not be for only medical doctors because other health workers are equally exposed to work hazards.

I'm of this view because I know that some medical doctors at leadership positions of healthcare institutions can be unreasonably biased sometimes.

I think some people just get emotionally entangled with the wrong kind of people, and mind you, IT COULD HAPPEN TO GUYS ALSO.

I have seen relationships where the guys were being treated so harshly by the ladies! Some of such relationships even ended in marriages. How the guys managed to cope, I don't know. I sha know that someone like me can't cope with such harsh ladies.

Edo state government was treating the corona virus outbreak with kids glove when others were taking precaution!

You and I know that Edo has many of her citizens residing in Europe and other hotspot nations!

Within the last few weeks many people flew into Edo state from Italy, Spain, UK, China etc. Many of these people were not tested. They came in and mingle freely with other residents! I wonder how many people have been infected in Benin city!

How many genuine pastors have died of Coronavirus worldwide. Who knows, maybe the reason God allowed this illness is because of the wickedness of all the Ocultic Leaders like the ones you're locking their ass sir?

Why not trust God for sense if you don't have one?
Those "genuine pastors " are currently observing strict social distancing, so how would they contract the virushuh

PCN should step into action and make sure such fraudulent pharmacies are sanctioned.

Government should first subsidize those items in the market so that the fraudulent retailers would not have any excuses when they're caught.

The NACDAC DG didn't do any wrong in her address. The onus is now on the government to check how chloroquine and other drugs are used. It is not a big deal to control drug distribution and use if people see the need for such controls

The DG of Nafdac worsened it by coming on air to make announcement immediately Donald Trump opined about chloroquine
The NAFDAC DG didn't actually tell anybody to go ahead and misuse chloroquine. She only alluded to what the likes of Trump had already told the world which is that chloroquine is among the drugs that had shown some level of activity against the virus.

I hope after this pandemic, the government would see reason to make drug prescription and dispensing to be strictly an affair between the hospital/clinic and the pharmacy and under the supervision of approximately qualified professionals.

They think that the western nations are foolish when they regulate how drugs are used!

This thread is based on a lie!

First I don't read comments about ladies making ridiculous comments like guys don't approach them. I've been on this forum for a while now,and what I have seen are contrary to what op states.

Secondly A man will approach anything, fancy or not he will approach as long as he has urges to statisfy.

When ladies complain of men avoiding independent women it is for commitment. There's a difference. Men approach independent ladies but hardly get committed to them because they don't want someone they have no control over for marriage.
You are still young on this forum and that is why you haven't seen such posts from ladies.

Only sex starved, thirsty guys would approach just any lady because he is hot. Classy and responsible guys don't go down with just anything in skirt.

frankline461:
We are not allowed to make drugs (pharmaceutical companies are), we are not allowed to dispense drugs (pharmacists are).

What we contribute to healthcare as a whole is the discovery and development of novel compounds to different illnesses (research). We are allowed to synthesize compounds and isolate them (from natural products) tests their effects on different receptor, in vivo and in-vitro and determine their pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic data.

This is the first step in drug discovery and it is done by a pharmacologists. Without pharmacology, there would be little data and knowledge about drugs in general. We might not have a license to dispense, but our knowledge of drugs is unrivalled
We are still talking about RESEARCH. Mind you, you are not the only one that studies pharmacology up to PhD. Most of the PhD holders in pharmacology in Nigeria are still pharmacists. The area of drugs discovery and development is multidisciplinary encompassing people from chemistry, biochemistry, pharmacy( including pharm chem, pharmacology, pharmacognosy, pharmaceutics, pharm micro) medicine, immunology, pharmacology etc. Anybody with the brain and qualifications from the above fields can discover or contribute to drug discovery but ON PAPER. It is the pharmacist that converts the paper discovery into live drug molecules and then compound such molecules and beautifully package them appropriately to what we have as medicines!

You are wrong
With your Bsc pharmacology, you are not licensed to make and dispense drugs! Your scope is to contribute to research and teaching of pharmacology! Get that into your head and prepare to proceed with your MSc and PhD. Don't let anybody deceive you! If you want to practice as a pharmacist, take JAMB now and apply. No short cuts!!!

What 48yr old woman in her right senses wants to be stuck with a 68yr old husband?

Not sugar dad she will sleep with and move on.

Husband?!

Whatever.
Even 20yo girls date and marry men of that age, let alone 48yo!

Regina Daniels is a good example of such marriages that happened recently. Of course, we heard about hers because she's a celebrity. Many of such unions take place in Nigeria every day!

Op, go ahead and marry the girl. Don't mind those talking about age gap here. The age difference is not a problem in your case. If the girl is 18yo and you're 36, in the next 30years, you'll be 68 and she'll be 48. Even some 70yo men still chase girls in their 20s and carry them as sugar daddies. Who has time for 48yo womenhuh Even ladies in their mid to late 30s are not finding it easy getting men let alone 48yo woman.

However, after marrying her, make sure you finish birthing your kids before enrolling her into school.

Never get rich because of any woman.
A woman that is loyal to you because you have money is not loyal to you but your money.
This is a subtle advice to further gold digging, as a man you have to protect your honor, your heart your cash and use your head always especially when dealing with women.
You're very right!

Any woman who comes to me only after I have made my money is not worthy of my loyalty at all! Such woman go suffer disrespect from my hand nor be small.
Romance › Why Do Ladies Think Every Guy Desires Them??? by Jman06(op): 10:49pm On Mar 22, 2020
Ladies please, note that guys also have preferences and rights to make choices!

Sometimes, I read ridiculous comments from ladies on this forum giving reasons why they think men don't approach them...Some of the funny reasons include:

1. Nigerian guys are scared of financially independent women...for Pete's sake, this is not true! If you meet the specs a guy looks out for in a woman, he'll do everything to have you regardless of your financial status

2. They know they don't have a chance with me, that is why they are not chasing me... this is another fallacy! Even the poorest or ugliest of guys would come for you if they find you attractive! They at least try their luck. The problem is that that guy doesn't fancy you while you're there overestimating your importance to him.

3. He is not man enough to approach me: this is also not true! Most guys are daring and would shoot their shots when they consider you up to their standards.

The list goes on.

Ladies should please stop this attitude of hyping themselves and thinking that a guy is dying to have them when in reality the guy is not interested in them at all.

Thanks for reading!

But why do ladies think that every man must desire themhuh

Men also have choices and preferences!

Just because guys don't find you attractive you are now claiming they are scared of "independent" ladieshuh Or that they know they don't have a chance with you hence are scared to approach youhuh

They simply don't like you, period!

And the man did not lose 10 years of his life? Both lost and I'm pretty sure the man lost more as he would definitely have spent more.

No reasonable lady would consider the man for marriage unless she's too desperate and wants to settle for anything.
And how sure are you that the man doesn't a wife and even children somewhere alreadyhuh
Romance › Re: Nigerian Parents Have Failed In Raising This Present Generation Of Men by Jman06(m):
Op, so you think that men are not coming for you because you are independenthuh

Does it ever occur to you that the reason may simply be because you are no longer desirablehuh Like, you have lost all the youthful attractiveness men desire in ladieshuh

Younger girls are getting married every weekend regardless of their financial statuses. Many of you fail to understand that the primary thing that attracts most men to women is their sexual appeal. That is why even rich ladies with that attractive body still have men flocking around and begging to marry them.

So, op stop consoling yourself! You have simply gone out of demand! Worse still, you lack character! So what in heaven's sake will attract a man about youhuh

This is the kind of thing that inspired Charles Darwin to embrace the theory of Natural Selection. If you want to weed out your garden, just put your hands in your pockets and watch.

The media has blown this out of proportion to create panic! When this is over and done with, Mark my words, the flu season or malaria of 2019 -2020 will look much worse!

When you flatten the curve you also lengthen the curve. The Global cartels willing to go 6 months or more with this? Going 6 months will destroy the economy and usher in a depression. Why is this necessary for a virus that is a little worse than H1N1, which we did nothing for?
Just like every other flu we have known throughout the history of mankind. Should you not shake hands? Of course, Should you wash your hands regularly? Always. Should you stay home if you are sick? Certainly.

Ridiculous! Some People are easily manipulated! Once you give up your Rights and Civil Liberties for safety sake , you have given up all your freedom! The Government owns you. This is not what our ancestors fought and died for.
If this corona virus escalates in Nigeria, people like you should be arrested and punished for your role in spreading the virus.
The goal is not to make people panicky but to encourage them to protect themselves so we don't record as much death as the likes of Italy and China due to the pandemic

@topic, imagine the kind of fool we have as governor!

The ediot will not start taking precaution now to protect the people he governs safe.

The rich seeing their money but couldn't save them...Man U former helmsman died of the virus with his billions. Calm down man, I'm not surprised because my bible had recorded it. Just read the book of revelation on any online bible from the beginning to the end, come back to me if I lied. Ciao.
The whole hysteria is due to the mode of transmission of the virus. It is a respiratory virus and is spread through respiratory droplets which can easily pass from one person to another. If it were blood borne infection, the transmission rate would have been minimal and perhaps there wouldn't be much concerns
