"What's already accepted worldwide"this is pure wickedness and as it is you just showed us all that this is really what they taught every pharmacy students during their study.And to top it all these set of pple keep derailing pple and changing their mindset about pharmacology.How can you even make a rule and prohibit pple that studied pharmacology and earned various degrees especially those with BSc.degree not to practice drug sale.This is wickedness at its peak,someone that studied the basis of drugs right from their 2nd level in universities and taught every bit of things they need to know during their course of study.Wow! You can imagine,only pharmacists want to rule,we all went to school like you do.If it get to some point you will say pharmacologists work in laboratory and not hospitals I bet you didn't know about clinical pharmacologists.For heaven's sake this is really awkward and absurd,you want them to study for four years,spend almost a million during their course of study.Take me for an example I did jamb and scored 232 but unfortunately got 42% in PUTME that's sad as it seems cos I opted for medicine as first choice and pharmacy as second choice.I didn't got admission through jamb till date and was never offered any course in BMS.It was after sometime I learnt that a guy who got 204 and 32% was offered anatomy even tho he chose medicine as 1st choice and pharmacy as 2nd choice just like me.I later learnt from someone that "if you no get leg you no fit enter uni".I didn't gave up and still went on to do JUPEB .I was given pharmacology anyway but unfortunately I made my parents bankruptee all because of "making it in life".We spent almost N600,000,for jst a year programme.And later got admission(thanks to God for his grace,amstill thanking him for that till date because I know he will never fail me) and still went through mates like us calling us D.E student(Half bake students as they call us).I can't believe the school too tagged us bastard and make us pay school fees like the fresh students(paying high fees)we even paid the acceptance.Now am in 400l after spending 100k+ each for the 3 levels(200L,300L,400L).I can't believe with all this you still want me to graduate and end in a laboratory especially in Nigeria,what a pity! You want me to sit down and make drugswhen even you that pple termed as superior professionals as you people call it can't even make....And lastly my question is if you were in my shoes and ended up in a laboratory as a pharmacologist.What will be your service to pple in exchange for money....Who will patronize you?��Give them drugs you madePharmacists that say pharmacologist cannot work in a hospital after studying the pharmacodynamic and pharmacokinetic,origin,therapeutic use,toxicological effect of drugs are BEASTS!....People commits suicide after reading your interviews,articles about the uselessness of pharmacology.Stop it!

There's nothing like "practicing drug sales"! Dispensing of prescribed drugs are guided by laws and only pharmacists are trained on that. That is what it is worldwide! It is not only about ensuring that patients make the best use of their drugs through counseling and follow ups, it is also about SECURITY of the nation and maintaining the sanity of the citizens.

Why do you Nigerians like to cut corners and stand the truth on its head just for your selfish reasons? In which other countries of the world do people who study pharmacology " practice sales of drugs " like you put it?

BSc pharmacology is about research and teaching! It does not in any way mean that they are not important though. But you just have to know your place and stop doing what you're not trained for. That's common sense!

The management of the hospital is funny, from the picture of the protest i can count about 50 nurses, what is the staff strength of the hospital so we know if it were only a few nurses that protested.

Don't mind those people!

The so called ESUT teaching hospital is run like a private clinic (poorly run one). I am 100% sure that those nurses were not provided with any PPEs hence the protest.

Even if WHO or UNICEF donated those PPEs, the foolish, greedy leaders must have cornered them to be sold later for profiteering. Very corrupt bunch!

Genuine lovers might have come your way on many occasions but you probably rejected them and fell flat for the scammers...

Let me give you a little tip that might help you sift the scammers (play boys) from the real guys:

Play boys(scammers) know what you ladies fall easily for and those are the things he would present to you when he is wooing you.
They know that you like sweet talkers

They know that you like ''fine boys'' so they polish up ( even if it means borrowing)

They know that you like rich men, so they fake riches just to have you fall for them

And most times, ladies are not logical enough to identify the fake guys from genuine ones.

So, I'll suggest you cut down on your expectations of the above qualities and just look out for decent men. You'll be surprised that you may eventually have all the qualities but don't make them priorities when you're meeting a guy for the first time. Instead, look out for the humanity in those guys you meet.

Beta males eventually enjoys the best of relationships and tend to be more successful while the supposedly alpha male remains on his high horse while suffering social exclusions due to his inability to build relationships.

You stated it in your initial post that Nigerian ladies don't like men who expect them to make financial contributions in their households. I have also noticed that even on this forum and I know that in your heart of hearts, you too would not want your man to ask for financial support from you.

Personally I am all for female emancipation and women having jobs/not depending on some guy totally but topics like this are not for the average Nigerian man who believes he should be taken as a demi god by his wife.
You can't have a wife paying rent and buying food to feed her husband and and paying other bills and then her husband wants to exercise TOTAL control over her and the household in spite of her financial and domestic contributions.

That's why Nigerian women avoid men who want them to contribute financially.
Another thing is, after marriage the same man expecting his wife to split bills will expect her to be primarily responsible for housechores and be completely submissive and obedient to him. It doesnt work that way. If a woman starts feeding you or paying your bills you no longer have complete authority over her.
And it becomes imperative that you as the husband also take up housechores like cooking and cleaning and child care.

An average egotistical Nigerian man will not want to do all this.

If Nigerian women would not want a man who expects them to contribute financially and are okay with the traditional setting whereby the man wins all the bread for the family, then I don't think there's any need wasting resources on training the Nigerian girl child in schools especially universities. It doesn't make any iota of sense to train a girl in the university only for her to end up as a housewife in a man's kitchen!

Ps--- Personally, I even prefer the traditional setting but she has to be completely under my control going by your reasoning above.

Those who use a medicine should get accolades than those that invented the medicine according to you. Right? Chloroquine was invented by America not China . It’s an American drug

Of course, chloroquine was invented by America for treatment of malaria and lupus. Although, scientists had recorded the possible effectiveness of chloroquine in treatment of corona virus, Chinese doctors were the first to clinically use it for treatment covid19 and reported some efficacies against the virus before Trump now announced the information he got from them. I'm sure that even Trump would not accept credit for the information the way some people on this thread are making it look like.

Why trying hard to prove nothing. Chloroquine's activity against coronavirus has been documented a very long time ago. It was not from Chinese.

I didn't imply that it wasn't documented, but Donald Trump got his information from Chinese, therefore he shouldn't be credited for the information! Meanwhile, those who successfully used it for the clinical treatment of corona virus for the first time were these Chinese and so they deserve more accolade than Trump.
