Vaxx, I need your opinion on this.

I visited a very close friend of mine last week who had not been able to walk for the past 8 months. According to him this was what happened :

On this fateful day he went clubbing as usual and decides to take a stroll to a brothel not far from the club. Then he was accosted by three young guys who brought out guns and knives. He said, they robbed him of his phones and wallets. And they started rubbing one of the knives over his body. There was no hard contact. So they asked him to start running but he could only walk backward because he was afraid. And they followed him till he got to a brt terminal. Before he knew it, he fell down and couldn't stand up again. He told me the knife was jazzed because that's the only explanation he could come up with. They didn't beat nor cut him. The only contact was the knife rubbing.

That's someone close to me. How do you expect me hear that and still believe there's no black magic?
The knife might have been poisoned with a drug to induce muscle paralysis. Go and ask the amazon south Americans how they hunt. Let me not teach you pharmacology here! Do a research!
Education › Re: Is Fluency In English Not Really A Measure Of Intelligence? by Jman06(m): 3:00pm On Dec 19, 2018
aaronson:
Most people say English isnt a measurement of intelligence, well that's their opinion. Personally, i equate people style of enunciation to match thier level of intelligence quotient, I never get it wrong when i put you in a category of IQ range using your communication skill.

Here is the logic.

The more you read or get exposed to more vocabulary, you learn more words to easily express yourself. Which is in great contrast to people who weren't exposed to too many vocabulary hence, it gets difficult to express themselves and this often leads to conflict, misjudgement or even trouble because you lack the capability to express yourself due to few words in your brain.
Even from this post I can pinpoint some errors!

1."Thier" in place of "their"

2. "Level of their intelligence quotient" is a tautology, instead you simply use
"intelligence quotient "

So, does it mean you are not intelligent for making the above errorshuh

Did Nigeria police test the drugs in the laboratory in order to determine the potency of ingredients?
There are standards to be met before producing drugs! We are talking about real chemicals here, not herbs and roots.

Those of you who support these criminals are just ignorant.

Exactly.....

But people wouldn't know dat

I watched on BBC Africa of a man producing tin tomato in d east legally but the cost of production was getting higher than the profit...becus of epileptic power supply he just had to pack up all his machines and relocate to Ghana, ,,,,so many tins are wrong in this country
You don't start producing fake drugs because of high cost of production! We are talking about drugs here for crying out loud! Orthodox drugs not agbo and jedi. Nigerians need to be enlightened on the hazardous effects of drugs. Just one wrong chemical in the mixture could lead to death of thousands of people before NAFDAC begins the process of withdrawal from the market. How would you even withdraw these ones that might not even have batch numbershuh
Crime › Re: Fake Drug Manufacturers Arrested By Police In Lagos, Materials Recovered (Photos by Jman06(m): 9:31pm On Dec 14, 2018
The police should please collaborate with NAFDAC and launch similar operations in other parts of the country!
They should go to Enugu, Anambra, Imo and in fact, all the southeast states. Many fake drug manufacturers are operating in those states!

They should not just stop in Lagos.

Dude , there are no laws against any African or non African religions but not even us are permitted to go around slaughtering animals anywhere we choose . You do such things in your own backyard or appropriate place not on public roads . So by doing this on a street that everyone uses is disrespect and a disturbance to the residents of that area .
Sue them to court if you feel disrespected.

In South Africa we have laws and regulations, you can't just go around performing rituals anywhere without asking for permission from the relevant bodies . This is disrespecting our laws, society rules and peace . No one says Nigerians can't practice their traditions in south Africa, but they can't do it anywhere they like . This is not Nigeria, not even our people do such things anyhow.
Is the South African law against traditional African religion? If not, which of your laws, society rules and peace have they disrespected by their practicehuh

That is 2k a month less than 2k euros which is about the average salary of BSc holders in Western Europe plus or minus depending on the country. Bros I know there are guys on the street but also there are people from Nigeria doing better jobs with better pay.

But money aside, whether you make more or less you live with dignity and your life has value. Valued by the society and respected by the law. Some of you will be quick to shout what about racism well in every human society there are shit heads that will always hate people for no reason. In the same vane I think the worse form of discrimination is the one you face in your own country.

Nigerians suffer more discrimination in Nigeria than elsewhere. Nigerians that are not from the North can't even live peacefully there without being discriminate against or treated different likewise those from the North coming to the South. What form of discrimination is worst than that which you encounter in your own country? You are being treated differently by the rich, being treated differently by the politician and on top of that being treated differently by foreigners running their businesses in Nigeria. The law enforcement agency that were supposed to protect you treat you differently based on your language or how much you'v got.

Bros Nigeria sucks!
You are very right bro!

Martin Luther kings would be highly disappointed wherever his soul is today at the level discrimination by black men against their fellow blacks. It's worse than racial discrimination by the whites.
Education › Nigeria Needs To Emphasize Vocational And Technical Education!!! by Jman06(op): 10:35am On Dec 11, 2018
Enough of churning out too many university graduates with no clearly defined career path! This is the reason for the worrisome rate of unemployment in the country.

Government should encourage more of our youths to go into vocational and technical education after secondary school. They can do this by creating and funding more of such centers, while also creating industries where such vocational and technical skills can be utilized for national development.

Universities should cut down the number of students they admit into some courses like those in the natural sciences, biological sciences, some in the medical sciences etc. They can do this by raising the cut off points into those courses and ensuring that only students who chose those courses as first choice are admitted.

We are not doing ourselves any good by continually producing hundreds of graduate s of courses like biology, chemistry, physics, biochemistry, microbiology, physiology, anatomy, philosophy, mass communication, psychology, etc who would come out of school only to join the pool of unemployed graduates roaming the streets.

Now, don't get me wrong, I don't hate these courses! I'm not implying that they are not important. But we should weigh their importance against our needs. Take few people into these courses, train them well for research purposes, provide research grants for our universities and research institutions so that upon graduation, graduates of these courses can easily get placements in our universities to further their post graduate studies on scholarships while those who can't win scholarship can be attached to professors and other senior lecturers on research grants. The FEW who can be absorbed into other white collar jobs can readily get employed.

The rest of our youths can be encouraged to go into skills acquisition via technical and vocational education so that we can produce enough artisans to drive our industrial development.
Enough of this chaotic system that produces too many graduates that are not really needed in the labour market!

Our education policy makers should take urgent steps towards addressing this issue. I wish they'll listen!

Travel › Re: Why Do Nigerians Think That They Can Only Make It Abroad? by Jman06(m): 8:35pm On Dec 09, 2018
Many of the people who travel abroad ain't just looking for where to make money, rather they seek sane societies where things work properly. Where they can apply for a job and be considered based on what they have to offer and not based on political connection. They also seek quality healthcare at affordable cost, constant power supply, good transport system, security of lives and property, good education etc. Those are the things Nigeria has failed to offer them and that is why they are leaving!

Some would want them to come home and build their country, and I ask; how do you build a country governed by selfish, wicked and demonic leaders who are in no way interested in seeing the country change for goodhuh Watch the kind of machinations the evil men in power today are trying to employ to manipulate the upcoming election in their favour, how do you expect the common man to build the country under such political atmospherehuh
