I was a medical sales rep for a foremost pharmaceutical giant in Nigeria for 4 years.

I know you type of 'medical rep'. All those B.Sc biochemistry/microbiology with zero knowledge of drugs who are employed by 'dagbo' companies, and because they can't detail products effectively to doctors and pharmacists to generate sales, they are kicked out to the bin as they don't meet target. That's your type!
The truth is that you are not qualified for the job but because some companies want to cut cost, they employ your type only to find out that you can't perform and kick your asxz out. Many companies are now realizing that the best people to do that job are Pharmacists, hence they pay them well to get the job done.

Truth is that what we see as romantic love is the manifestation of selfishness of the human species. People love for selfish reasons. So, it's all selfishness.

True love only exists among parents and their offspring or among siblings born of same mum and dad. At least, i know i genuinely love my mum and siblings.

Your ignorance is legendary! Pharmacists who work as medical reps earn nothing less than 150k salary per month (PCN fixed minimum salary for pharmacists). That aside. As a medical rep, his company sees him as a businessman, so he is given products at costs that will be favourable for him to make profits for himself. Meeting his targets also attracts commission which could run into millions. Did i mention that he is also given a brand new car for his movements. Working as a medical rep(for a good company) is one sure way a pharmacist who knows his onion can make fast money.

Bro, i will advise that you learn to keep your mouth shut on any subject you have no knowledge of lest you make yourself a laughing stock among those who are informed on the subject matter.

I know that what most universities accept is BSc but you can still try. You can also try UTME as well, the only difference is just one year which is no big deal as far as i am concerned.

Please my dear, pick up D.E form from JAMB and go back to school. I did same after biochemistry and i am happy i did. In my own case i chose pharmacy instead.

When i did my IT in a pharm industry, i met some guys who did microbiology/biochemistry. I discovered that many of them who were even lucky enough to get jobs in pharm industries live in perpetual anger and beef the pharmacists because in their ignorance they think that they should be paid as much as pharmacists, forgetting that they are only there due to shortage of pharmacists and also because some companies employ them to cut cost and so pay them peanuts.

So, to save yourself from such mediocrity, I advise you go for D.E.

If you do not know, get the necessary information and don't hinder people from getting help and improving their lives.
The course is called MEDICINE COUNTER ASSISTANT and not Pharmacist. They get hands on training on Pharmacology and dispensing techniques and lots more. In addition to that, they are coached on HOW TO START UP AND RUN A PHARMACY, meaning they are taught the "know-how" of starting a Pharmacy. Of course it is common knowledge that a Pharmacy Technician and Pharmacy Assistants all function under the supervision of a Licensed Pharmacist and running a Pharmacy is no different.
My friend, don't be an enemy of progress, encourage growth...ignorance is killing Nigeria today and we need to stop it.

If i may ask, who licensed you to TRAIN people on how to PREPARE and DISPENSE pharmaceutical products. You are the ignorant one here or just a scammer who is looking for gullible people to defraud. The pharmacists council of Nigeria is the only legally recognized body to regulate the training and licensing of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians as well as pharmacies and patent medicine vendors, and i am very sure they never sent you on this your fraudulent mission.
Those illegal pharmacies and patent medicine stores you talked about are ILLEGAL and when the long arms of the law catches up with them, they not only lose their monies but face the full wrath of the law. Many such illegal premises have been closed down in recent time by PCN and i advise you to visit PCN website to get informed.

Drugs are sensitive substances that shouldn't be sold like every other goods, hence some countries don't even allow the patent medicine dealership as we have here in Nigeria. This is why self medication is so rampant here with the resultant high death rate. Go to even Ghana, they don't have patent medicine dealers. In Nigeria, they were meant to serve the people in rural areas where pharmacists can not cover, but due to negligence of the regulatory bodies they now operate in urban areas. Even at that they are still kept in check to ensure that they deal only on over the counter medicines(OTCs).

So mr man, you can't train anybody to Prepare and sale pharmaceutical products like you claimed, only the universities can do that under the supervision of PCN. Stop looking for gullible people to scam.
