The one Tinubu promise he has never fulfilled them only the negative ones he promised he has fulfilled. I don't believe for a second that Odi will go for it. |

He should know apc has no place in Edo central, he is not even going there again after four years Oh, really. So his win was a vote against Ordia's third-term bid. Interesting. |

Almaigaa: INNOSON are substandard Chinese made vehicles. They are only coupled in Nnewi. Others are manufactured in Nigeria. Only few parts are imported and their Cars are built with quality materials to last long You have proof/reason to call Innoson substandard compared to the others or you're just making it up on the spot? |

Ode. You're going to visit that thing for what purpose exactly?
God bless the likes of Cardinal Onaekan (hope I spelt the name correctly). Not all these 'eloquent' anywhere belle face hypocrites who can't do without sucking up to power. All this abuse for someone just because he visited the President. Toxic politics will be the end of some people. And no, you did not spell the cardinal's name correctly. |

So what makes Innoson Chinese and the others "original" Nigerian? Are Dangote trucks, GIC and JAC not China-affiliated just like Innoson? Are Nord and Peugeot not sourcing parts from abroad? |

Racoon: See wahala! So there will now be freelance medical practitioner with no regulatory authority? This one nah license to kill o. No. This does not absolve him of REGULATION by MDCN. However, joining the NMA is optional, as the NMA is just an association of doctors. The regulation of medical practice and disciplining of doctors is the duty of the MDCN, not the NMA. |

Politics › Re: Petrol Subsidy ‘return’: NNPCL, IMF Disagree Over N8.43trn Loss by JuanDeDios: 8:57am On May 13, 2024 |
CharleyBright: Buhari is clueless and thinks only of himself. I wouldn't want to waste my time to read to read his clueless mind to decipher who he wanted initially. Yemi Osibanjo was the best candidate for the APC ticket. He was the best president Nigeria should have had. He was acceptable when he was acting president and would have united the country if he was president. Buhari should have supported his candidacy and bid to get the APC ticket, but I think Buhari still selfishly wanted power to remain in the North. If Yemi Osibanjo had won the APC ticket, Peter Obi would not have become an alternative that Nigerians turned to. Osibanjo would have defeated Atiku in an election. Peter Obi became a choice because many Nigerians didn't fancy Atiku and Tinubu, so they chose Peter Obi as alternative to the two. At party level, Tinubu won Osibanjo in the primaries because that was delegate voting where Tinubu threw dollars at corrupt delegates. In a real general election, Osibanjo will defeat Tinubu hands down.
For me, Buhari caused many mess Nigeria is in today.

Ofemannnu: FG is only paying subsidy partly according to IMF and it is temporary unlike previously. This is the reason why allocations of states have almost trippled. This is why FG could give awards and reason why they will be able to pay higher wages (if the states are held accountable by NLC,TUC and NGOs) True Nigeria will get better. Debatable. |
Politics › Re: Petrol Subsidy ‘return’: NNPCL, IMF Disagree Over N8.43trn Loss by JuanDeDios: 10:26pm On May 12, 2024 |
viodemus: Some people are insulting the IMF, have they asked themselves how much Nigeria borrows from the IMF, un, Christian fund, arab bank, eu, brics, asia bank, nato, private people, single countries, etc
but we have the useless mouth to talk about them when they are concerned about the chronic financial irresponsibility, that Nigeria exhibits on a yearly basis. People need a bogey mean to blame for all their problems. |
Politics › Re: Petrol Subsidy ‘return’: NNPCL, IMF Disagree Over N8.43trn Loss by JuanDeDios: 10:25pm On May 12, 2024 |
nairalanda1: We can only have our own refinereis if we remove subsides completely and allow the market set the price of fuel...which would make refining profitable in Nigeria, and would make people go into refining since they can make a profit.
Plus banks and other financial institutions would be willing to lend any investor money to build refineries. SO that dangote does not have all the fun . You're talking about private refineries. But other OPEC governments build public refineries. Our government could have built a refinery and then privatise it if they have to. |
Politics › Re: Petrol Subsidy ‘return’: NNPCL, IMF Disagree Over N8.43trn Loss by JuanDeDios: 10:22pm On May 12, 2024 |
CharleyBright: Buhari didn't want Tinubu. He was the brain behind Ahmed Lawan candidacy at last minute to Garner Northern support when it was obvious El Rufai and co won't back down on supporting Tinubu. Initially he refused to be attending Tinubu election campaigns even though his wife was. It was when people started to tongue lash him that he was being an ingrate after Tinubu supported him to win election two times that he reluctantly started attending . In his heart Buhari didn't want Tinubu. I share your views. But if you were asked to take a guess, who would you say he wanted in his heart from the start? It certainly wasn't Ahmed Lastminute Lawan. |
