to create a video, you will need the services of ANIMOTO which is a video making site.......
A quick question please. If you use a white girl on your profile, so how will you create a video with your black naija face talking on it?

I know zero about Paypal or how international payments work. I recently registered for an online project website. If people get to give me jobs they will have to pay me through some means. I have a dom account.

So what are my options? I don't have a paypal account - should I open one? Can I receive money through it?

I will appreciate help from experts in the house.

Thank you.

I know it will be a great relief for me if this life were to end this very minute - drowning, road crash, Ebola, stray bullet, poison, I won't care. I have made enquiries about getting a job in Iraq or Borno State but nothing yet. Anyway, I know I don't have whatever it is it takes to take that step and end it with my own hands - so no suicider I am.

Women are now breadwinners in most families? Please tell me about it.
Culture › Re: Gods Of Infidelity: Blind Gods Or What? by JuanDeDios: 11:24am On Jul 25, 2014
Raphael007: . Young man a woman being the bread winner has nothing to do with it, in my place where I come from it used to affect the man and the people found out that the women where using it to get rid of their husband and the elders of the land reversed it. Now if It happens its on the woman's head and she must die, as a man that saw her do the thing or meet the woman and the man in an uncompromising way, and you don't raise an alarm you are not free from it either. You will also meet your Waterloo to me I think its a wonderful tradition to checkmate the the life of the woman but their is a twist like the man said men are polygamous in nature, its been there from time immemorial and to tell you the truth some women love it so don't get it twisted these where laws laid down by our forefathers to chackmate the lives of their wife. Don't forget there was circumcision then and the women had high sex libido that it takes the grace of God to satisfy, now things are different so to me I welcome it ladies from my state don't really want to marry their men this days, why because they know the implication if they try it they are gone, So they prefer outsiders so even if it happen if it not forbidden from where the man came from then she can do anything she want. I am talking of Esan people of Edo state not the bini's but Esan people it is a taboo to sleep with another man's wife cheers.
It's good they changed that. What I don't understand is why they have refused to change the one about people for The Four United Quarters not being allowed to marry among themselves. These are four large communities and this anachronistic tradition is unprogressive. If they can make changes on the adultery issue it shows they are progressive and willing to change tradition which is highly commendable. Now, they should address their strict exogamy issue which prevents people from the same community who are unrelated by blood from getting married.

Health › Re: Horoho Takes Oath As First Nurse, Female Surgeon General Of The U.S Army by JuanDeDios: 9:46pm On Jul 17, 2014
ziga: In order to decide who to head any institution, you first think about what kind of decisions they will be making.

If the minister of health has to make health decisions that a Doctor normally would make, then he has to be a Doctor.

If it is purely administrative, (which is most unlikely, just like the example of the attorney general) then it should be somebody capable of making good administrative decisions in the in the interest of their bosses.

People with deserving qualifications should be heads. In Nigeria, everything is upside down!!! Everything has to do with politics and not merit.

A smart and economical decision will be to merge both duties into one position - Administrative + Medical. And of a Doctor is in the best position to head these organizations for our Nigerian situation, then make it compulsory for applicants to have administrative education or experience.

Let us put the best qualified people as our leaders in everything or else we will continue to rot in sh|t...
Good points.

This is the first thread I'm reading on this topic and honestly these ridiculous arguments would be funny if people weren't dying. Isn't it some people's argument that positions should devolve by virtue of rank and not course of study?
Health › Re: Horoho Takes Oath As First Nurse, Female Surgeon General Of The U.S Army by JuanDeDios: 9:25pm On Jul 17, 2014
Mbediogu: Army Nurse Horoho with that kind of credential clearly stands and was appointed on her own merit rather than threats and subterfuge over the Surgeon General, a medical doctor. Dr. Odierno clearly recommended and endorsed that meritorious professional. From her humble and service - oriented acceptance reply in which she highlighted the immediate challenges and scope of her new office, you see immediately that she is the 'right man' for the job. And come to think of, she is first after almost 300 years of American Army existence. Put the state of our Health system beside that of America, and Nurse Horoho's intimidating image beside her Nigerian Johesu counterparts. Gosh! What do you see?
Nigerian doctors are not up there when compared with their American counterparts either. Silly me - they are. How could I forget that they saw Dora Akunyili's cancer which American doctors didn't see it?
Health › Re: Horoho Takes Oath As First Nurse, Female Surgeon General Of The U.S Army by JuanDeDios: 9:15pm On Jul 17, 2014
thegeneral84: The position is the Surgeon-General in the USA Army. In the Army anywhere in the world, the highest ranking officer gets to be the Head whether Nurse or Doctor. The Nurse happens to be the highest ranking officer so she got the position. There is a Public Health Surgeon-General in the USA who is always a Medical Doctor. Nigerian Doctors are asking for the Public health Surgeon-General not military Surgeon-General.
Lol. But if there's a military surgeon-general in Nigeria I'm sure Nigerian doctors in the military will still do the needful. Afterall, she's going to have doctors under her. I don't think it's about military health or public health.
TV/Movies › Re: 24, Season 9: Jack Is Back! by JuanDeDios: 11:01pm On Jul 16, 2014
RayMcBlue: When Jack gutted that Russian assassin that killed his girlfriend and very nearly killed the Russian president that was the mastermind of the whole thing, he had already made his choice that he's never gonna be a free man ever again.
Exactly. This issue is hanging and needs to be resolved firmly - that is what appears to be missing from the scenarios you're painting. You can’t do resolve this issue by simply having Jack and Kate storming in there and killing a few more Russians. That’s the point I was making – that whatever plan he came up with would simply have postponed the issue and he would remain a fugitive. I agree that Russians aren’t gonna keep him alive but even that is not an insurmountable problem. You want a happy ending for Jack? You have to resolve Russia first. Firmly. And to do that, you need some serious, jaw-dropping, bone-breaking, silent clock-worthy stuff – like Jack is kidnapped, spirited to Russia in handcuffs, put on a (Russian) trial, sentenced to death, and executed. We’re later told someone rigged the execution (at least, we saw that in Sydney’s Sheldon’s The Stars Shine Down) and he gets out, changes identity and settles in Brazil or Scotland. That way, that issue is firmly resolved.

I don’t share your assessment of the scriptwriting. When you say he should have escaped and disappeared again, what you ignore is that that would leave the Russian Sword still hanging over his head.

And I don't know how you can say there'd be no time to save him through any means. It's tricky but it can be done.

TV/Movies › Re: 24, Season 9: Jack Is Back! by JuanDeDios: 3:41pm On Jul 16, 2014
RayMcBlue: Jack would have sacrificed himself for his ungrateful nation, sure, but for an individual without any romantic attachment, not a chance, not without a contingency plan lurking in the shadows somewhere. Giving himself up the Russians is not consistent with his character throughout the series, especially after sacrificing so much and losing his ex-FBI girlfriend (Russians were directly responsible) and Audrey (Russians were indirectly responsible) to the same Russians along the way.

Jack I remembered would rather sooner die than give himself up willingly to the Russians, even for chloe. He would have found another way. He's pretty good at using people, and would have gotten Kate easily enough to help him get Chloe back. All he had to do was to play on Kate's grief at losing Audrey on her watch, and Kate would have become his to use as he like.

If the showrunners had extended the length of the season finale like they were supposed to (all the other series I have seen had extended final season finales) , fitting all this scenerios in and simultaneously getting a happy ending for Jack in the mix wouldn't have being a problem.

(Jack of season 8, I can relate to and understand: Unleashed and boiling with hatred and retribution).
You make a lot of very good points.

The Jack Bauer we know would not have let the Russians take Chloe but he would, indeed, have made a plan before "going in".

But I disagree with you that a happy ending for Jack would have worked. A happy ending for Jack is what I want too but I don't see how it would have worked at this stage of the story - I always believed season 10 would end in the Russians picking up Jack. What if Jack had made a plan before going in for Chloe? He would then have escaped and gone underground - again. Remember, like I said, that he couldn't simply return to a 9-5 job in LA or become a taxi driver in London. It would have been bad scriptwriting to have him simply disappear underground again since that is the position he was at the end of the previous episode.

The day Bauer killed the Russian diplomats he had this sword of Damocles hanging over his head - he buy market. Killing a Russian minister and then pointing your gun at the Russian president is a serious thing to do. No scriptwriter would resolve that by co-opting Kate, shooting a few more Russian agents, grabbing Chloe and running off a helicopter with her. The Russians have to have him - there is no way around that. In the next episode (if there's any) they will bring him back and bring him out - maybe a Mexican drug lord and a Russian renegade soldier will go into business dealing in Russian nuclear stuff or maybe Kim Jung-un will go completely out of his little mind and direct his nuclear weapons at the Kremlin and Jack's services will somehow be needed to resolve the matter.

RayMcBlue: I was nursing a sentiment that Jack could get to see his daughter and grandchild again, at least one more time before disappearing again (I never for once entertained the notion that Jack would ever surrender himself to the United States Government or otherwise), so you can understand my crushing disappointment when he sheepishly surrendered himself to the Russians in exchange for Chloe. That's not the Jack I remembered. So bizarre. And he didn't get to see his family...
Of course, that's Jack. Didn't you watch seasons 1-8? Actually, there was simply no other way for this season to end than in Jack's capture by the Russians. No other ending would have made sense - he couldn't have returned to the US and simply carry on life in a flat in California. Or remain in London. Or show up in Lagos.

And giving up himself to save a friend's life is consistent with his character going by previous episodes.

People don't get it. Super Eagles insist on being paid before taking training because they don't want to make a sacrifice for a country where politicians steal billions and if anyone gets convicted he gets a pardon. Doctors make ridiculous demands because Senators earn millions for "sitting". It's the state of Nigeria - every man for himself. This doctor fellow here puts it across well:

Onlinebizexpert: Do I blame her no.........

If she knew that what it took me to pass a test of five marks in medical school is the same as what it took her to pass a degree exam of 100 marks

What is keshi doing that he is demanding a salary of 10 million naira per month

What did a senator read that his salary can foot the salaries of 25 professors of medicine

If people knew that the fight to answer consultant by other medically inclined professions is simply a ploy to assume power

Having another consultant In the hospital is the same as having two captains in a ship

I will not blame funke she is trying to sell her newspaper by writing such a demeaning article to the people who can elongate the line between life and death after GOD

I don't expect funke to understand because unlike her I have to read 3 courses (anatomy, physiology, biochemistry) which lasts for about 15 years in just 18 months and am expected to be better than the person that reads just one of the aforementioned courses and yet such a person wants to assume a post that that takes a doctor an average of 25years to reach

I won't blame funke because maybe in her world a footballer like Mikel can demand for the title of world best player just like messi and c ronaldo by just playing back pass

U claim its greed but I think its the right thing

If I should be in charge of your life in your weakest moments don't you think I should be financially emotionally and psychologically stable....

Do I blame funke and some professional jambites on naira land for their articles and comments respectively.....no I wont

Why don't you whole lot contest for the position of GOD who created the universe because we can give both to humans

I am not in support of a situation whereby patients are punished for the crime of others but till we as a country get it right by giving honour to whom it is due we can never make a head way

While you guys run away and belittle our African traditional religions, the whites embrace our African religions.

There are more whites in Ogboni (ROF) than Africans.

See how they've deceived you? They brought in missionaries to introduce Christianity, while silently stealing our true religion.

These are the little 'gods' that God has created to help us. Why do you think God doesn't "answer prayers"? He has given you other 'gods' to make it easier to communicate with him. But people have ignored the little 'gods' and think they can pray directly to God. Dream on and keep deceiving yourselves.

1st commandment: thou shall not worship any other god before me

Make sure you acknowledge The Lord before communicating with other 'gods'

I tire for Africans o.
