KINGSATANREBORN: I’m going to say it again, a honest Nigeria who make money legitimately cannot allow his money to go the drain especially when the perpetrator decides to be quiet and uncouth. The only set of people that does that are yahoo boys. They have this conviction that by midnight they’d “jam” an unfortunate white person whose paycheck will cover for the loss.
That victim is a fraudster that was scammed by a local fraudster. Please don't make such conclusion. Some people don't like stress and even when you cheat them, they would hand over your case to God and move on. I would have been happier if the scammed guy dropped details, but his non compliance to that doesn't make him a criminal. |

Properties › Re: House Or Car? Help, I Am Confused by Juliearth(f): 6:54pm On Apr 28, 2022 |
Bluntdude: Hello guys, good day. Kindly help me make the right decision.
I am an artisan in Abuja who works under a reputable company as a freelancer. My job entails me moving around much everytime. I've done this for years now and to be honest it's really affecting me. The stress of trekking, getting into vehicles and alighting incessantly is really wearing me out. I'm thinking of saving 3k per day for about 2 years to get a car to help ease my movement because in the past and even now, I've lost some customers due to my inability to meet up with some appointments. Most times I get home really exhausted not necessarily because of much work but because of the stress involved in getting to customers' houses and returning again daily.
Now here's the challenge... I planned on getting a land and start building soon before the idea of getting a car came up due to much stress of moving about. I'd really love to own my own house. So please I'd be needing advice from you guys... House or car? Which should I start with first? Really important. Thanks. If you are not buying a car brand new, then you should take into cognisance the cost of purchase only. A car is a funny machine and if care is not taken, you could be losing so much to repairs on a daily basis. Come to think of it, who chooses a liability over an investment? Even the resell value of a house is a plus as against a car. My take is that you build a house and then buy a car subsequently. |

Many women die from child delivery in even very good hospitals in Nigeria yet you get to hear someone delivered inside keke, bus and in this case in captivity where there is little or no medical support around. Why then do some women die in hospitals during child bearing It is not the place or condition of birth that kills in most cases. |

Somebody tough and soft at the same time. Tough enough to put an end to all the insecurity challenge that has crippled this country. Tough enough not to "look uchey face" in taking a stand and stance. Tough enough not to pay heed to godfathers and political saboteurs posing as supporters. Tough enough to nip corruption in the bud. Tough enough to grant us true independence from the western world. Tough enough to grant each state autonomy, so they can generate income. Tough enough to merge weak states who can't perform. Tough enough to grant the judiciary and INEC autonomy. Tough enough to close all the borders get again, but not clueless to lack actions that would ease the resultant effect of this action. Tough enough to promote foreign export SK that the dollar would, overtime, lose its grip on the naira.....
Soft enough to understand the burdens of the people and support policies that would give the masses soft landing. Soft enough to make the country business friendly and attractive to foreign investors |

She got married few months back. and the date the video was uploaded online was just about two months to her wedding. And I'm very sure she's not even aware of it and if the husband accidentally see this video. Definitely the woman will be sent out.
I have not been able to tell her because of how she will react to it. pls what's your opinion on this matter on ground. I just wonder how will a matured woman will allowed herself to be filmed. Stay one place them go say no, see what going from one dick to the other has landed her. Pls should I tell her or face my front? Its best you tell her so she can take actions to have the video removed. I also hope that this act of shame would help her turn a new leaf. |

She should hold on to what is a Mrs title under the weight of what seems emotional abuse? Okay, you want her to leave because her husband seem to have anger issues which he displays twice a year? If children were not involved, I would have prescribed divorce, unfortunately, that is not the case. Do you know what divorce does to children? This situation can be managed. |
Family › Re: I Am Tired Of My Marriage by Juliearth(f): 2:03pm On Apr 22, 2022 |
janejjjjj5000: Please, I don't want to be judged. My husband is a good man. We have been married for 14 years. I am 33 years old. He is 39 years old. We have 4 kids - 3 girls and 1 boy. He has never cheated on me. Right from day 1, he has been very open. He is not the type of husband that locks phone and all of that. But I am tired. He has the habit of flaring up around the children and I don't like it. I don't want my kids to be damaged. I know some will say no marriage is perfect but at this point, I don't even want marriage again. I just want to be free and single and look after my kids. I am tired.
Anytime we have an argument, he always talks about how he did this and that for me. In front of the children. I don't want this kind of life. He hardly gets angry, maybe twice or thrice in a year but when he does, he does not have the sense to know he should not be doing it in front of the kids. He apologizes to them and to me but I am done.
He has no other issue apart from this. He has never beaten me or anything but I am tired. Overall he is a good husband to be fair and honest but I can no longer deal with this. I prefer to be single and free than deal with this rubbish.
I feel like pouring out my heart. I know it is not my place to say this, but I would, regardless. Permit me to say that you don't have a problem.... Or let me rephrase, your problem is highly avoidable. When other women tell your their ordeals, then you would agree with me on this. Please do not create an imbalance in the lives of your children by leaving that marriage. Children need both parents to have a balanced life. If you leave your kids with their father, what becomes of them when he marries another or his girlfriends maltreat them? Figure out your husband's trigger(s) and avoid it/them completely. You may be lucky that he outgrows this vice with time. |

Ramanto: No matter how rich one is, one must still possess a certain level of rationality. There are some spendings that one must consider unnecessary. For me, I'm yet to get used to cutting my hair 1000 naira every week. I don't cut any fanciful style, just a normal low cut which I may not even carve. I'm new in this state. In my previous place, I was cutting for 300 which was reasonable to me. Anytime I pay 1k here, I feel cheated. I can easily afford the money, but I find it more rewarding to give out the excess to a beggar instead of paying it to barbers. I have my own clipper now. Only that I can't cut myself. Which bills do you really hate paying? NEPA bills, reason being that, supply in this town (Minna) is below par. |

unless you can take care of this child (emotionally/physically/financially) by yourself for the next 18yrs, i suggest you ABORT!!!! ABORT!!!! ABORT!!!! The other babe moving in with ease and his parents' allegiance to the other woman shows that this one is a side chic |

Nksleek: Delta Lady Accidentally Gets Pregnant For 34-Year-Old Man Secretly Dating Another Woman
As seen on Facebook this afternoon
Someone from my inbox is seeking for opinion and I have her permission to share.
According to her, she accidentally took in for her 34-year-old boyfriend that she has been dating for 2 years plus not knowing that he had another girlfriend.
She said the other lady moved in permanently to live with the guy upon hearing of her pregnancy.
Her own parents are already aware and disappointed but the guy’s family acknowledges his relationship with the other lady more than hers.
She further revealed that the situation is making her frustrated, apprehensive and depressed.
What can she do?
Source: https://www.facebook.com/100041566351018/posts/834631637932374/?d=n I think she forgot to tell you that she is/was the desperate side chick whose plan was to use pregnancy and snatch the man, but it failed. Congrats to her. I would advise that she buys Pampers and baby clothes in bulk from now. |

Achinakaa: welding is capital intensive, if you are good technically, you would learn in due time, I don't think not having having educational knowledge about it would be a hindrance. There are contracts that you can't bag if you do not have the papers to support. I do not think multinationals can award a welder without papers a welding gig even if he is very good. |

GreatAxeMan: I think a more mundane reason is that pronouncing P and S as a consonant cluster, sounds a bit like PISS Funny! You are not far from the truth. The mundaneness of your thought was perhaps why the English carved out these deviations. Note that this rule doesn't apply to /PS/ alone. Don't forget mn, kn, pn, kn, and so on. Most words starting with these diphthongs are of Greek origins and it was easier to pronounce them in Greek. The English, however, knew there would a whole lot of tongue- biting experiences if modifications are not made. Thus, the reason why these deviations exist. |

Education › Re: Do You Know Why P Is Silent In PSYCHOLOGY? by Juliearth(f): 9:34pm On Apr 09, 2022 |
sorosoke101: When it comes to silent letters, English has many. They are there, standing firm, occupying space and charge you for extra ink but not pronounced at all. Many people hate them for being there and they fuss about why for god’s sake they are not pronounced. Well, there is a reason why they are not pronounced. The word PSYCHOLOGY was borrowed from Greek, where this combination of sounds is allowed. But would be difficult or impossible for an English speaker to pronounce those two sounds at the start of a word. So in English we kept the spelling but made the initial /p/ silent. Because no English speaking people would want to pronounce a P and S together because it will sound gibberish. You are free to add yours let's see those silent letters. Its a consonant digraph (two consonant sounds blended together to form a sound). By rule, digraphs create a new sound altogether (e.g sh, ch, th, etc) or not (as in this case). If a digraph assumes the latter in sound formation, it takes on the letter sound of either of the sounds. Thus, in this case, /PS/ by rule is sounded as /s/ or psi as this case. One would be tempted to ask that if the letter sound is not pronounced, why then keep it there? Removing such silent sounds would constitute a breach in English language etymology. |
