erico2k2: I understand what you are saying but like I will repeat if there is an option between loans and credit card you should always take a loan. There is only one winner in taking a credit card, THE CREDIT CARD COY. Repayment is fixed in loans but that's not the case ion credit cards. One of the reasons new comers in the UK run to credit cards is this misconception that the money is almost free to spend 4gotting you got to pay all back at some point. However when one reaches a level of financial maturity in the Uk a credit card is a must as it offers more protection when doing or paying for goods or services but for newbies NOP Loan is not better, if managed your cc properly don’t pay interest or charges which is not the same with loan. |

semmyk: @Anthony6098 It appears from your other post, you seek MSc. An MSc is postgraduate. There are two primary types: taught and research, and others inbetween. You need to think which one you'll want to pursue. Kindly note that the research process is similar to that of PhD. For SCM, you can get through the list of the Google search. Most MSc SCM (and derivatives) might be "taught". https://www.google.co.za/search?q=MSc+supply+chain+management+%2BUK

@Justwise | wondering if it's possible to have a thread discuss PG (postgraduate) exploration in the UK. Then the current thread remains for Visa (student permits). The challenge though might be the entwining way people inquired or put their posts That will be a good idea only that it will not work, it will be turned to general student visa thread instantly. people here are not capable of sticking to the purpose of a thread. |

Please I do not have an idea what it entails: cheaper schools to apply for, getting a job as well as my spouse, visa cost for the whole family… please I will be so grateful if some that has gone through same process can have a private chat with me. I’m so confused seriously Read first page of this thread, all the info is there |

bazzyblings: Good evening just wise, please I want to ask a question please .. I have been to sa before now … on my old passport .. so I got a new passport last year and applied to South Africa again .. I was denied … I guess it’s because of Covid they weren’t giving out visas so they find a way to deny after a long time of your passport been with them .. please my question is . If I want to apply for study visa now in the uk , should I declare the sa visa refusal ? Or I can just ignore and proceed ? Yes |

femredhead: On this note again,Dependant(s) must apply to join the main applicant 6months to the expiration of 12months(for a year course). My questions are:
1. Is it IHS fee for a year to be paid or half i.e £470(a year) or £235(half) ?
2. Is maintenance fee for a year or 6months? i.e if it's £1,023 monthly, is it multiply by 6 or 9?
cc : Justwise. IHS and maintenance money is calculated based on your visa duration, so if you are given 6months visa then your IHS and maintenance money will be for 6months |

Glamorouspat1: Good morning house, please my sister passport will expire in October, she as already applied for a new one and her visa is out and on the old passport. But some people are saying she cannot travel with the old passort that as the student visa on it that she as to transfer the visa to the new passport because her old passport will be canceled. Transferring the visa to the new passport will cost her £155 or so. Please who as traveled with with student visa on old passport and the new passport without having to transfer it.
I will be waiting for your replies. Thank you She has nothing to worry about, there is no need to transfer any visa, she needs to travel with both passports, there is nothing wrong with that. |

hustla: Chief
What if someone takes like 10K from a CC and leaves the country. What will the Cc coy do?
Do they factor this into their risk analysis before approving the individual or how do they then make profit? They do and remember that they also have good insurance package that will take care of such case People do take loan/CC/ expense mobile contract and do a runner but its pointless doing that because at the long run you are likely to get caught. |
