Oga Lexus, months ago you advice us to always report our rent that it helps build credit score. Ditto, I’ve been doing that since about 6 months now, I also enrolled myself to the electoral register…

Some weeks back, I got a mail from Creditkarma that my score increased with 8+ and I was happy even though the total score is about 533 grin grin grin ( please don’t laugh )….

What came as a shocker to me now is that another mail came today saying my score has been updated or something, then I went to check, lo and behold, 13+ had been taken from my credit score…. I was wondering what could have happened??

Two things crossed my mind…. 1. I just just moved house few days ago and I updated everything that has links to my new address, even the electoral register, banks and everything….

2. I went to Lloyds bank to switch my account from Barclays, I wasn’t told there would be a hard search on my credit file, while I was with the bank assistant, I just received a notification that a search has been made… Within the minute, the bank assistant told me the application to switch bank and getting a bonus switch of £150 has been declined… I just left the bank not knowing they’ve ripped my credit score that I’m managing to build little by little…

I’m not happy like this huh huh
Moving house and switching banks do affect credit score, this is from personal experience. It takes at least 6months to get your score back to what it was before those changes

Just a fair assumption made based on the person who posted it, a former CIO at different NHS trusts.
That is questionable

Oh I see.
That was a pretty good temp opportunity advertised by a connection on LinkedIn. There was no Web address info that came with it.
How do you know that it’s a real good job opportunity?

I posted a job opportunity earlier, I think you censored it, was there something wrong with the post?

Yes, the contact details attached to that job are all private details, no website address or contact number of the company advertising for the job.

He can proceed without a divorce cert, people are allowed to marry multiple wives, just not in court or church...
Immigration wise he will find it difficult to do that

yes i do, so i should basically change the info i have on file and apply for wife and the new kids right?
If your first marriage was legally conducted then you need to go for divorce before applying for your current wife and kids . As it stands you are still married to your ex wife and that is what is in your immigration file.

I hope you still have enough time to go through this process and apply for them on time for PSW?

The school will refund you but they will take away the admin fees though if you got refused because of misrepresentation or fraudulent material then you will find difficult to get your refund

Yes, but he's still married to the ex on his current status. So he has to divorce the ex first, marry his second wife and his children? He can backdate everything but the children cannot be backdated. undecided

There is still a way out though grin

For a while, we've had people complaining about how to pay for their ihs, visa, school fee with their cards, even after showing them how to use barter some people still cannot circumvent their way around it, and honestly speaking its not their fault. Some people have got phobias for techie platforms and others are just being careful.

Since we've got exchangers on this platform, why not allow the exchangers to assist these set of people. This could solve the issue of payment instantly.

The Mods have to verify these set of exchangers and put their contact on front page, details of the exchanger must be collected such as a video that will be with the Mods personally, international passport, address and any other form of verification, also the Mods can stand as escrow if the volume of the transaction is rather much. Also Mods must be paid a token by both parties involved in the transaction. Also Mods can designate a fervent/or some fervent followers and contributors of the thread to be an alternative escrow incase Mods aren't available.

The Mods do something similar to this in the business section.

I don't know if it makes sense, I just thought of it today. so it is left for the Mods to either accept it or not. they have the final say.

@justwise
This idea is dead on arrival. I will not verify anybody or be part of money exchange here.

I have no authority to handle or verify anybody's international passport or personal details .

So thank you but no thanks.

Honestly @Justwise

Hopefully it doesn't get to the point of requesting the source of 'claimed' sponsors funds like visit visa applications
I do hope it gets to that point or point of blocked account like Germany system.

You see how people shamelessly putting up ad here for POF and only one or two people I know report such ad the rest were cool with it.

Landline included (and we don’t have a landline) smh.
You can call them and request to downgrade to broadband only, even with broadband and landline only you are still paying too much.

i used to be with them and was paying £27 a month..broadband and landline, after a year i renegotiated it down to £25.

Currently with talk talk, started with £28 a month..broadband and landline, a year into the 18months contract i switched to another supplier within 3days talk talk called me and offered me a better contract with the same speed..which was all i wanted, wasn't interested in leaving them, just wanted to pay less and it worked.

You can do the same.

False.

There is a National Insurance Number.

You can work some unskilled jobs without it just by presenting your BRP for right to work checks but more "official" work and a lot of other things you may want to do will require it so the person you quoted is right in that people should apply for it ASAP.
You need NIN for all jobs unskilled or not. You can start work without it but at some point you will definitely have to apply for one
