1johnjohn: So I was at the embassy to apply for d Us visa while o had to leave my new found Taxify job... I try to upload but I could not even get the website. Uploading my infor. U have to pay ad pay to upload the passport
The embassy won't give u the right websites to do all that. Instead it would leave the crazy hungryen outside of their office to collect money for everything. Imagine paying 5k to upload pictures. I would share more details here.
How can they leave those men outside of their embassy to make money Are you paying that 5K to the embassy? |

Joyeeeee: Thank youJustwise.
One last question. I printed my bank statement today. The statement period is from 12th sep - 10th october, but the last transaction on the statement is 9th October. Is this okay, cos Im using gtb bank.
I paid in some money before I printed but this didn't reflect in the bank statement. The bank official said transactions reflect in bank statements after 24 hours. Hope ukvi won't use the last transaction date (that's 9th) as my last day of 28 days count? No you have nothing to worry about as long as you have the complete amount before the payment |

Must the two accounts have the same 28 days transaction and be printed on same day? I mean, can the 28 days of one statement be from 12th sept - 10th october, then the other, 13th September - 11th october?
I am quite confused with this 28 days rule, since I'm using two bank statements That is not a problem |

Springsdy456958: that is obviously the Agent @justwise you don't need to seek further. Dear applicant once you skip any Exam and interview. Consider yourself a victim already. ..and you will be paying the money to someone you don't know and never met. |

passionstores: I think justwise came to speedy judgement without due diligence. We need to base our judgement on facts and not on speculation and skepticism What are you on about? Did anybody here insulted him or accused him of being an agent before he jumped and decided not to post? He was the one the brought up the issue of an agent and quickly got angry when people suspected foul play. I know you desperately want info from him hence your display of dear leader act here. |

benpedro: I see where this is getting to. You try to help Nigerians and you'll end up being tagged a scammer. I was warned by my friends here. Henceforth, I cease to comment on this thread again. Goodbye and do have a great day all. Maybe I'm missing something here..who called you a scammer? Or are you the agent? If you are not then why are you getting angry because people smell a rat about the agent you introduced them to? An a agent who lives in London is asking for $1300 to process an admission to Mexico and was ready to allow prospective student skip exam and interview ? Smh |

oskaroni: Update on My chat with the guy he made me realise one can go ahead and do it by himself if you feel d price is too much , hahahaha dude ain't ready to reduce the price , that guy no send anyone, and with what I noticed he doesn't appear desperate, he said one will pay him 60% first, send him your transcripts and other necessary documents which he will verify and warned not to send fake documents, then balance up when it is ready. knowing fully well that one will still write an exam and still be interviewed by the school rep(found dt on the School's site) so I asked if those will be skipped since one is applying tru an agent, to my surprise he said yes. Hope you guys are aware d guy is UK based and not in Mexico, going by what he told me, and if one wants to go with January intake, embassy is closed abi? been thinking about how feasible it will be I understand we want to make use of this opportunity, because it is a scholarship program and ja pa commot naija, but wait a minute, what if, i mean what if you pay and your money enters voicemail, who you want hold responsible? 1300dolls no b small money for dz economy mehn,m just being careful, m not saying m sure d guy ain't genuine. Dz country don teach person to get sense by force, lol OGA benpedro please don't get me wrong, but if there's a way to verify the authenticity of this guy as the School's agent i personally will appreciate it. Gracias That alone should tell all you need to know about that agent, he is just after your money, if you skipped the exam and interview he will make up a fake one to submit for your admission. Typical Nigerian with fraudulent activities, doing things right is not in our DNA. Pay $1300 to an agent based in London you never met and may never know his way about and kiss good bye to that money. |

@justwise and anyone willing to assist, please I need your assistance, I read that I need to DHL my documents to my wife, documents like tuberculosis test and English test and then she will post everything including her documents to Sheffield?
I know I'm not the brightest person, you can even say I'm dumb... I accept that, I'm just humbly asking for assistance so I can join my wife in the UK. That's all Thanks
Please kindly assist me with step by step information, God bless you guys I'm humble You are not any of those, you know exactly what you are doing but lazy to read information here. I replied your post before and told you to email or call British council for type and cost of the test but you did not do that, you came back to ask the same question again. Many people here have been kind enough to report back and list steps and documents they submitted. I'm more than happy to help when your question has not been addressed over and over again here I know reading long pages is not easy but this application will cost you more than 1M naira and if you get it wrong you pay another one. |

yacha77: Hello,
I hope this is not considered a duplicate topic as I've searched and read student visa topics for Canada and USA but could not find information for flight school admission and visa application . The information is helpful but I think we need to connect here as the order is filled with Uni stuffs and flight school is a little bit different. So please aviators let's met here and help ourselves.
Let me shoot with my concerns. Firstly we need to hear from people who have gone for interviews and the challenges faced especially for Canada , recommend flight schools from your experience , dos and don't. I would love to meet someone with first hand experience with Canada flight schools because even agent ain't got nothing to say. Thanks guys It's, post your question in any of those two threads or both, admission process is the same and the same with visa application. |

Juliansamuel: Hello justwise, ekpotec and the Otha gurus in the house. I want to apply for my daughter and I to visit the UK for Xmas vacation and also a friend has invited my daughter and I for his daughter's birthday party coming up same December.
He is not sponsoring us, i am sponsoring the whole trip and also booking a hotel. He's only sending an invite for the birthday.
My question is, since he won't be sponsoring anything at all, what document is he to send to us to take to d embassy? We are spending just 7days. I'll await your responses. Thank you . You need to get the data page of his passport as an evidence of his status in the U.K. |

Oy24us: Hi everyone, I’ve been following the thread for quite sometime. Pls I will appreciate if anyone can assist me. I applied for NARIC assessment, I submitted my transcript, and letter from school but I couldn’t find my main certificate. NARIC sent me an email that they are ready to issue me with the assessment but it will have a disclaimer. Find below the response from NARIC. Pls I really need your advise as I was refused earlier because I submitted IELTS General training and the next IELTS test is far away, so I decided to use NARIC 24hrs Thanks
Dear Sir / Madam,
We can provide an assessment of your qualification(s) however please note we have not been provided with a copy of your final certificate and as a result, the following sentence will be included in your letter: Although no final certificate has been presented, evidence of successful course completion has been provided. If you wish to proceed on this basis please click on the following icon in the action column.
Please note that this disclaimer does not affect the outcome of the assessment.
If you do not wish for this sentence to be included in your assessment please upload or post a copy of your final certificate before your assessment is completed and posted. If you are unable to send in your final certificate and you wish to send it in at a later date, then we will charge a fee of £12 (+VAT) plus your chosen delivery charge to reissue your Statement.
Once you have accepted the final certificate disclaimer you will be able to make payment for your Fast Track evaluation.
Kind regards
UK NARIC If i were in your position i will hold on and get the degree certificate before moving forward. Naric standard application takes just a week, your main headache now is getting the degree certificate from your school |

TEECANN: @Justwise,
My attention has been drawn here to your above quoted message.
Permit me to set the issue straight:
BACKGROUND: I have been on NL since late 2007 (My first moniker- TCANN went with the tsunami that hit NL sometimes ago)
As a respectable and senior member of this community, I will not do anything that willfully & knowingly contravenes the modus operandi of the land.
TO THE ISSUE: In late May 2018 when I received ITA alongside some other beautiful folks here, the idea was mooted by the members who got ITA on the same day, that a group to support each other's application preparation and eventual submission won't be a bad idea. It was meant to be a specific-goal group with closed membership. All of the May ITAists (Less than 10) have since submitted their applications and the support objective achieved and concluded.
I want to believe you should be fairly well certain that I am not here for any commercial agenda or clandestinely canvassing for membership to any public forum or group in the manner that your post portrays- "...advertising Whatsapp groups". That will be far from the truth! (we have come a long way since the early days of the UK tourist visa thread )
Finally, I want to appreciate your consistency and leadership in managing this behemoth, seriously, you deserve some accolades!
It will end in praise IJN! I think that the idea of whatsapp group is a selfish one and it kills a thread, you have to question the motive of people who are quick to initiate one because there is no legitimate issue that can not be discussed here. Sharing information here openly is key to the existence of this thread and help others who log on here searching for information. Info you share in whatsapp group will not be available in google search which is how most people get to know about this thread and nairaland. |
