The point the person was making isn’t that it’s an issue to pay your balance in full - obviously that’s best practice and what everyone should be doing.

The point was that everyone claims they do that, which is sus, to say the least, because it’s statistically improbable. Especially because it usually comes up when some people are encouraging ’newbies’ to apply for cards (without mention of whether they need it and can handle the responsibility).

Funny how people like criticising. If one chose to pay in full their CC balance, how is that an issue. Not everyone would like to owe much on CC if they could afford it. I do same - I pay in full my CC balance, reuse and repay in full. It has its advantages when you are intentional about your targets and future. Lexus i have finally confirmed it was a scam.. they were scammers. These scammers are really terrible, with every single passing day these scammers are evolving in their approach ohhh… please guys if anyone wants to book ticket book only from an agent that has a proper uk website. And before making any payment request for a booking summary and ensure it comes via the customer service mail box. For example if you are booking from flight centre the only mail box you should receive booking summary should be xyz@flightcentre.com.

I have spoken to American express, we are in the process of charge dispute. By the way there is a product manager here who works at Amex right?

There's a lot of misconception about the visitor's visa. It says you should not stay more than 6 months at a time and that's mostly it. They hardly consider your application reason vs length of stay when renewing especially for a Retiree. If one applies for a 10 year visa, for instance, they don't expect you to outline your entire itinerary for the 10 years. The exception is that you don't "live in the UK for long periods of time through frequent or successive visits", that's very subjective. It would most likely raise a flag if German Grandma does that 4 times and ends up staying for 2 years at a stretch with just only a few days away throughout.

The guy whose Grandma is on a 5 year visa and wants to extend her stay to 5 or 6 months to stay for the kid's birthday is perfectly legitimate. She won't have an issue when renewing, she didn't break her visa rule.

My take is that in uk you can never tell what is in the mind of most women so is better you give them space. A woman can switch up and say you harrased her just by giving her compliment or glancing at her. Is your words against hers. My brother I will not allow my name or reputation to be ruined by any woman in uk. So I am very catious around millions of them here. Why I made exceptions for nigerian or african women is their is little or no bias. The chances of being accused of one thing or the other is low.

please I need the best of advice/ideas to solving this problem before someone does what he no suppose.
An ex patient or service user raised a sexual complaint against her previous carer since last year August and he has been suspended from work ever since. We first thought it would be over soon that its just to do investigation and come up with findings which will either proof guilt or innocence. But loo and behold up till now the issue is still on the table. The last action that sparked outrage was during one session he was asked some questions in which he mentioned hes schooling in a university, so they now went ahead to write the Uni to inform them hes under investigation so the uni asked him to stay away until he is cleared. I cant stomach this injustice anymore. Please how does someone fight this kind of battle. It took months for the details of the so called offence that led to safeguard was even known o. the police have been invited and they couldnt find any evidence of misbehavior. Yet these people are hell bent in destroying a mans life. the only thing was that the girl was given a lift and the discussion was going intimate and he claimed he stopped it and dropped her off at the hospital and went his way. that very week wahala started and up till now na on top of the matter we still dey. No work since last year and the small consolation traing hes trying to do they blocked it without any formal conviction. this BS has to stop.

Please I want to ask, I'm currently a student here in the Youkay. My school sent me a mail to face an academic misconduct panel for one of my assignment were the similarity score is 35%. I find this disturbing because I did my work by myself, reference all articles used, in fact I did everything required of me. Bulk of the 35% is made up of my references of which I cannot do anything about it. My peeps have more than 35% but was not invited.

Though I'm confident of what I did but don't know why they have to send me such destabilising mail.

Is anyone here who have experience such situation, pls advice.
