elyasnawabi: @justwise please need your expertise... I was refused under 320 7a and the reason was fake Bachelor degree from computer science according to the ECO which not true I don't how can they even do this to me. What can I do to prove that my college degree is genuine? ; (Sadly that carries 10yrs ban, can you post the refusal letter here? Remove all personal details, just the section of ECO's comment. |
imperiouxx: Yes ooo. I be from Osun too! He will definitely serve the full length of his ban this time around. |
godG: Dear JustwiseNo you don't take it that way, he has to learn at all cost |
PRAISE GOD! got my visa yesterday after 11 working days. Thanks to everyone who has contributed on this post. may God bless you all. For all those waiting may God work in you favor. Would be leaving for Coventry on Tuesday.
eminado: So happy, I got my visa today after 12 working days. Thanks to justwise for the advice you ave me and other people on this forum. Anyone going to a London uni on Saturday? Don't know what airline to usecongratulations!! have fun, come with your winter jacket, getting cold and raining now. |
TonMon: Not yet. we just want to make sure everything is in the right place before we make any moveI'm guessing that you are looking at next yr admission season? Paying the whole school will go along way to convince the ECO that your parent will not waste such amount of money if the real intention is not schooling. In other categories of visas the fear may come into picture but in your case i don't see any risk in it. |
elyasnawabi: My course already started on the 16thWhen did you apply? |
jubel: @Justwise,pls kindly respond to this question. My fiancee applied for tier4 student visa without requesting for a new Cas from his school. He used the same Cas he was refused with because he didn't know he was to request for a new Cas when he made application. No, he shouldn't have prob at the POE because of the CAS, he will be fine. Tell him to email the school to inform them that he has been issued a visa so as to keep his admission active |
jennyfar: Guys it was a refus, they said I didn't have the required level of funds, that I had 3,000,001.48 which amounts to 11,670 at an exchange rate of 249.95, and dat I ought to have 11,700. 3,000,001.48 at an exchange rate of 249.95 is 12002.40, even if they had used 251 which I used, the money was still more than enough. There is room for review tho, maybe the blockhead that calculated it will realise his/her mistake cause I don't see myself paying over 80k again for this. What was the exchange rate the day you submitted your application? |
yemstar1: This forum has been really insightful, read through almost all the pages. I got my VISA today, I applied on the 29th of Aug at Lekki, status changed yesterday 16th September. I wanna say a big thank you to the moderator (@Justwise) and everyone that has contributed. God bless!!!Another 29th good news, congratulations! which uni are you heading to? |
princessmoi: I just picked up my passport, applied on the 29th of August and received it today, 13 working days. Special thanks to justwise for all the help you are really doing a wonderful job. God will continue to bless you, ur kids and grand kids. Amen! Thank you so very much, and to all those who helped in answering my questions i say thank u, to those waiting please be patient you shall share the good news with us. A dream of many years has finally come through.JustwiseCongratulations! really happy for you and others who got theirs, you are actually lucky to get it this quick considering that you applied on the 29th |
elyasnawabi: @ justwise... I have submitted mine in India and today makes it 23 working days, I don't know what's happening. I have read your posts you are the hero of this forum, what does your experience say in my case?Yes it does take longer now because its a rush period, one thing is certain....they will not hold your passport beyond necessary period, they know when your course is stating and will not hold your passport beyond that date. |
TonMon: ok thanks. but the problem is m parents dont want to risk it because of what they are hearing from ''trusted sources''. hence they donot want to risk wasting the money and not getting the visa. is there any other alternative?Have you paid the fees and get the CAS? |
Justcul: Gbam! And @ justwise, Godson is much more grown up than u may think.. If dia is one man dt has been of immense help on dis thread, its Godson IMO.. So stop treating ppl with such comments... Many have benefitted frm Godson's interview testimonies and interview questions including d said Liillygem......that gives he no right to insult anybody |
Godson201333: Lol and do you get paid for being a moderator one of the reasons why told you to grow up because you still have a lot of that to do. |
LillyGemm: You should have asked me before last nights insults/incident and I would have told you which country I come from...just don't want to share anything more about my country since it's considered BRAGGING and this is a NIGERIAN thread.do not tell anybody jack, its not their bloody business to know. |
ganasy: hey guys this is becoming messy.....lets jst allow that to pass n move on.why do you want to know where she is from? what has that got to do with you? |
JideVince: Better still, ask for the money to be paid in to your personal account. That is another idea too but to do that....pay your whole school fees because sending you fees + maintenance money from the UK at once will be almost impossible and will amount to money laundering |
TonMon: so from what you are saying i can ask my parents to print their bank statement and post it to me so that i can use it to apply for the student visaYes and don't forget to add your birth certificate, your parents data page of their passport will help as well just to leave no stone unturned. |
@Godson201333 You have a lot of growing up to do and quick. |
@LillyGemm This forum is for everybody..Nigerians and non-Nigerians, don't let anybody tell you otherwise, next time you are rudely treated like i saw now..use the report button to report such post to moderators. Enjoy the forum. |
TonMon: @Justwise pls take a look at this scenario. my parents have been in the uk my entire life (i have not) and yes they are legal. can i use my parents' uk bank statement to apply for a student visa here? someone told me i might not get the visa cos ECO will think that when i go to the uk, i will not return after my studies, just because my parents are already there and therefore i will try to change my immigration status after my education. how true is this? That is not true, concentrate on meeting the student visa requirements that is what matters most and what your application will be judged on. |
pantex: Mine is more of a M I R A C L E.Congratulations! More good news pls! |
Muycom: I am a Nigerian just want to know the procedure and cost to travell there. The process of getting visiting or business visa to the UK is here if you do a search, getting permanent stay in the UK is totally different issue. |
Muycom: Good morning, pls i just want to know the procedure for getting a permanent stay in uk and the cost, thanksDo you live in the UK? If yes....what type of visa are you holding? |
@Godheals ...for the last time..do not derail this thread |
Godheals: @ justwise I am not against you or anybody in this trend,I am viewing my own side of the story from a more professional angle that is what I am doinDon't even start fooling yourself, i wasn't born yesterday, you can be against me, that i got no problem with, but with time i will review your true identity. |
