BREAKING: Ajimobi breaks silence, assumes duty as APC Acting Chairman.

The Deputy National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (South), Senator Abiola Ajimobi who is presently recuperating at a Lagos Hospital has called on all APC stakeholders to continue to observe the peace as he assumes position as acting National Chairman of the APC.

Senator Ajimobi spoke through his Special Adviser, Communication and Strategy, Bolaji Tunji, in the aftermath of the order of the Court of Appeal affirming the suspension of Comrade Adams Oshiomhole as National Chairman.

Senator Ajimobi took over the leadership of the party in line with Section 14 subsection 3 of the APC constitution that states that: “the Deputy National Chairman shall act as the National Chairman in the absence of the National Chairman from his zone.”

According to a Statement by the Spokesman to the Acting National Chairman, a meeting of the National Executive Council (NEC), would be called soon to resolve all contentious issues.

“We should therefore let peace continue to reign until we call the NEC meeting and take a position on the way forward,” he said.

Will be tough largely due to Fury's unpredictability but I think AJ will come through.
If AJ can stay on Fury's inside, he will come through. Fury can box, but I think he does not have great inside boxing skills. He can get you from the distance no doubt, but I don't think he can better a guy like AJ on the inside.
The challenge for AJ will be to track Fury down, cut off the ring and attach himself to Fury's side like a handbag, only then might AJ stand a chance with jabs.
Fury is a good boxer but AJ is a boxer puncher. It will be tough for both guys but AJ I want to think comes out on top.
May the best man win anyway.

Miyetti Allah denies making statement that Fulani will rule forever.

Well, I for one know talk is cheap and actions more expensive. Whether they deny or accept does not change the facts on ground which is this has always been the Fulani agenda. And for me, I do not begrudge them for having such ambitions even though it is to my detriment. I can only fault clueless leaders in other parts of Nigeria for continually lending themselves as willing tools in the hands of these people.

Hahahahahahaha, these companies are so smart that they avoid being taxed in several other well organised and advanced countries.

FIRS that can't even record 100% tax collections with physically available companies in Nigeria wants to go after companies operating in a much more complex area such as the digital technology space, I wish them well.

Our main problem has never been that of revenue, our main problem is looting and spending priorities.
PoliticsRe: Diezani Allison-Madueke Is A Commissioner In Dominican Republic by kayjay69(m): 4:36pm On Jun 07, 2020
There was never a one Nigeria FYI.

Now to the matter at hand. Are you saying since the present Fulani regime (which I despise so very much) is not going after corrupt government officials of a northern extraction, they need not go after other nigerians that are corrupt?

Cos if I get you clearly, you are saying since everyone is corrupt, why charge anyone. The issue I have with this line of thought is that this is exactly how the useless leaders want us all to think. They want us to be weak and divided. Agreed, they are all thieves however I support the charges against Dieziani. Let's be clear, she was not the only one in that administration but the level to which she stole was preposterous. There is stealing and there is stealing. Dieziani stole.

Is she the only one? No.
Should she be tried in court? Yes.
Why? Well, the truth is if APC concentrates alone on their corrupt enemies, it is not a problem for me. If PDP in turn gains power and concentrates on its enemies, it is not a problem for me.
I do not wish both parties well because I know for a fact they do not wish Nigeria and Nigerians well. So if this is how they destroy themselves then so be it. But I will never be a willing tool in the hands of politicians. I will never do their evil bidding for them. It starts with when people who are created with a brain, simply can't think for themselves and come to a logical conclusion. We will never have any form of change until we have this.
saaron:
The Fulani regime left their own Fulani thieves in NNPC to witch-hunt a southern woman who has every right to Niger Delta oil. What investigations have they done about Baru - $25 billion contract scam exposed by Kachukwu in buhari's first term? Bloody corrupt hypocrites.

Not that it matter but I am more than certain that she used some of the money they accused her of looting to buy herself that Dominican citizenship and commissioner role.

She has a lot of money in that country for her to be granted such privileges. Either that or she has very smart lawyers or both.

You (and by extension all the 70+ persons who liked your comment) are exactly like the zombies you describe below.

Our politicians on both sides of the isle are corrupt and there are NO EXCEPTIONS.

If this joke of a country has any hope of ever becoming anything close to great, then we ALL must be willing to call a spade a spade and avoid comments such as the one below.

Call out politicians whether they are from your ethnicity or not. Hold them accountable at every opportunity you get. And then, we can have the slightest bit of hope (though i personally have lost all hope for this country).

But politicising public discussions such as this is only doing the politicians work for them which is to firmly divide, confuse and rule which they have been successful at doing. Unless ofcourse you are a paid hand, then I can understand. I may not agree, but then I can understand.

CareerRe: 270 Indian Workers At Dangote Company Depart Nigeria by kayjay69(m): 12:29am On Jun 06, 2020
Kindly explain why Dangote also employs quite a number of Indians across his other manufacturing businesses. This is not even limited to Dangote, several other companies mostly in the manufacturing sector are quite fond of this.

The main problem I have with Indians is once you let one in, they bring their entire village. And they are quite a racist lot. When they are of a sizeable number, they'll demand for their own toilet and their own dining hall. I know of an agro-export company owned by a Nigerian but run by indians, this is the scenario. So please let me know if this is fair to be treated like 2nd class citizens in your own country.

These so-called contractors end up staying becoming permanent contractors, earning way better than the actual employees and occupying top management positions. Look, as much as there might really be limited skill in refining, what you see in Nigeria on the larger scale with regards to employment of foreigners, you will never find anywhere else in the world.

I work in the maritime sector where this same BS scenario is commonplace. You find companies saying they cannot find suitably qualified Nigerians to fill roles, so they go employ all manner of foreigners. Even when they manage to "find", so far you are a Nigerian resident in Nigeria, a foreigner will always earn more than you even if said Nigerian has the necessary qualifications and experience. It is almost like some companies are setup not to cater to the immediate community. The companies do not mind paying Nimasa thousands of dollars to get waivers to employ these so-called expatriates. This will never ever ever happen in any country, not Ghana or Angola, only in Nigeria.

So please I have seen this seen this same scenario replay itself over and over, it is bulls**t and we all need to stand together and condemn it rather than cook up excuses on behalf of these companies.
LaIabobo:
Not true. There is limited skill in refinery engineering in Nigeria. The contractors are Indians and they brought in skilled and semiskilled experienced labourers from their country. Hundreds of Nigerians are also undergoing training in India.

Dangote is trying his best. He is the arguably the largest private employer of labour in Nigeria.
CareerRe: 270 Indian Workers At Dangote Company Depart Nigeria by kayjay69(m): 12:21pm On Jun 05, 2020
Hopefully they never return.

Dangote should invest in Nigerians. I am more than certain the role these indians occupy can definitely be done by people amongst the 180million Nigerians.

I really hate when I read news like this or hear of Nigerian companies employing foreigners to do jobs that Nigerians are clearly competent and capable of doing. If I can't get gainful employment in my own backyard, of what use is the backyard.

This s**t has to change.

I don't know if all the other athlete's and showbiz people did this, I doubt but I am happy Kanye did this. Shows he has a lot of good in his heart.
Alot of people just hopped on this for political gain. As much as I despise Trump, Democrats have not fared better when asked to take on Criminal Justice reforms.

Bill Clinton and present Democratic Nominee Joe Biden are responsible for some of the most harsh laws and bills that have disproportionately led to alot of black people been incarcerated. And they stand today to condemn what happened but when in power, did not push the right reforms. I can't expect Trump to do it, he ran a racist campaign anti everyone else asides white male.

But it is sad that the democratic leaders that american black people look up to are no better than the republicans, atleast republicans don't mask their distaste of black people.

A perfect story of blacks trapped between a rock and a hard place.

And sadly, nothing much will change in the wake of Floyd's death, I fear soon enough it will be business as usual. Unless perhaps stuff like this starts to happen to whites, as is the case of the opiod crisis (versus the crack epidemic that ravaged black communities in the 80s) maybe then will America pay attention.

I get you bro however I reject the notion that there is nothing in a name.
There is a lot in a name.

Case in point, Nigeria a.k.a N*gger Area was named by that foul racist creature married to another equally drunk colonist.

But then see the irony have we, over the last 100 years, not lived up to that name? Are we not all n*ggers?
Both leaders and followers alike. Heading toward destruction steadily, headless chicken arrangement.

So my bro, there is a lot to a name. A name should be a source of pride, definition and joy.
This is not to support that excuse of a Governor who is definitely the worst governor that state saw in this 4th republic, I am only talking about the larger topic.

He was a great artiste, no doubt he could have been greater but no one is perfect. We all have our little demons we battle with from time to time.

Foreign AffairsRe: George Floyd Protests: Trump Deploys US Military In Washington by kayjay69(m): 8:11am On Jun 02, 2020
Forget what you are watching on the news, the protesters causing chaos and looting are only a very tiny fraction compared to the mostly peaceful protesters.

This George Floyd protest is nothing compared to the 1992 riots in the US.

All of this could have been avoided if those racist policemen were arrested and charged immediately. But the way and manner the case has been handled has further infuriated people and you cannot blame them for venting their anger.

Remember this is not the first time a police officer will kill a black, unarmed, innocent man and get away with it. These things usually add up to a point where people can't take it no more. I stand with the peaceful, law abiding protesters, I do not stand with the mischief in command, the orange man, Trump.

Aside from pay lip-service, he has clearly shown he could care less what happened to the victim. All the great leaders that I know usually have some form of empathy and emotional intelligence with the exception of Trump and Buhari. If it were his protesters, protesting against the lockdown would he have deployed or be talking about deploying the military or the national guard. He knows these are not people who would vote for him hence him trying to play to the gallery. Come December, Americans will let him know how far.
SeverusSnape:
No. The protests are getting out of hand that's why.

CrimeRe: George Floyd: Mercedes Cars Damaged As Rioters Vandalise Showroom (video) by kayjay69(m): 5:29pm On Jun 01, 2020
So let me get this straight, the opposition party was the one that instructed the police officer (a well known trump supporter and a rotten racist to the core)to kill George Floyd.

Then the opposition party did not stop there, they went ahead to incite their supporters across major cities in the USA to riot, loot and arson.

So it has nothing to do with the history of the USA itself?

It has nothing to do with the history of relations between the black community and police in the USA?

It has nothing to do with racism?

It is just politics as you say right.

If you had just shut up then maybe your stupidity would have remained within you. That you decided to see a conspiracy theory in this shows the kind of person you are and you are a terrible human being with this kind of unfounded and quite frankly useless commentary.

Moneywirer:
This is no longer for late Floyd, I smell politics all over this.
What are the odds that the opposition party didn't incite a reasonable percentage of these series of events just to make Trump look too stupid and incapable of maintaining order with diplomacy?
PoliticsRe: Nigeria's Newly Acquired Tucano A-29s In Pictures by kayjay69(m): 2:20am On May 29, 2020
The super Tucano is not a 4th generation fighter aircraft.

The fighter jets that belong to the above category as

F-15 (upgraded versions)
F-16 (upgraded versions)
Su-30 (most of its upgraded variants)
Su-35
Mig-35
Typhoon
Rafael
Gripen

These are clear cut examples of Jets that 4th generation fighters. A tucano will do the job against insurgents that do not have weapons such as the stinger missiles or air defence systems.
