Politics / Re: Uzodimma: APGA Is Like Keke NAPEP, It Can’t Take Igbos Far In Getting Presidency by Kenn55: 5:37pm On Dec 20, 2021 |
The common man is interested in good governance not who is president. This idiot needs to know that. If Uzodimma is made the president today, how will it benefit the common Igbo man? How has he being the governor benefited the state? How has the presidency benefited the common people of Katsina? Nonsense politicians want to use tribe to ride to power. I hope people don't fall for this. |

EgunMogaji2: Hmmm. Arming ourselves in the midst of poverty, wickedness and ethnic supremacy battle will be deadly ooo. America will be a child's play. I think the best situation for Nigeria is to adopt the UK style governance structure where every region will become a mini country and do what works best for them. Any region that wants to remain foolish after that are free at least the impact on the rest of the country will be minimal. |

thinkmoney: Make no mistake, I'm not supporting IPOB but if the government think they can give a dog a bad name in order to hang it will work with the international community, they will be disappointed. They need to find another strategy to deal with the IPOB issue. Trying to join them with "Bandits" won't fly outside Nigeria. It could work in Nigeria but not outside. Who knows if the government is behind the security issues in the east in order to rob them on IPOB. Anything can happen ooo. Don't bet ya life on it oooo 1 Like |
Politics / Re: FG Calls On Western Allies To Declare Bandits, Boko Haram And IPOB As Terrorists by Kenn55: 4:59pm On Dec 13, 2021 |
thinkmoney: I think you are mistaking the different nomenclature intentionally created to muddy the waters. Bandits/killer herdsmen are the same as Fulani extremists identified in what you attached. The international community won't name bandits as terrorists because what we call bandits are fulani extremists that were already classified as terrorists. The federal government intentionally used the word Bandit to shield fulani extremists which are the killer herdsmen terrorizing the people. Anyway, don't fall for this, the government knows what they are doing. Their target is for the world to add IPOB to that list. Unfortunately for them, the world can separate facts from propaganda. |

vedaxcool: You guys are not seeing the big picture. The summary of this whole thing is that Nigeria does not have any clout in the international community. For people like you that are close to Buhari, please help us tell him to lead Nigeria well and develop Nigeria. This is the only way to overcome the insults from other countries. Weak nations cannot expect to be respected in the international community. You can't build strength by mouth but by making your country developed and relevant in such a way others would be scared to challenge. There is still hope if naija leaders can do the right thing. Will you help us communicate this to Buhari? 3 Likes |
Politics / Re: FG Calls On Western Allies To Declare Bandits, Boko Haram And IPOB As Terrorists by Kenn55: 3:07pm On Dec 13, 2021 |
thinkmoney: Guy, bandits are fulani herdsmen. They are already designated as the 4th brutal terror organization in the world. The word bandit is just to confuse the international community but they are not fooled. Do you guys realize that almost all countries have embassies in Nigeria and they see firsthand what is happening here? The international community does not need permission or convincing of a government to declare an organization a terror group. If they find Ipob to be a terror group, they would have designated them since. Did they consult Nigeria to declare fulani herdsmen as terrorists years ago? 1 Like |
Travel / Re: Dean Hurlock: UK Won’t Reverse Travel Ban Over FG’s Threat by Kenn55: 2:52pm On Dec 13, 2021 |
chukxie: Guy, the problem with a lot of you is that you apply sentiment to equal patriotism. Unfortunately sentiments or patriotism by mouth does not build a nation, real practical work do. If what you wrote is true, then Nigeria has more leverage than the UK. That means they should have issued a UK travel ban few hours after UK issued travel ban on Nigeria. Instead of that, they are issuing threats instead of action and UK doesn't give a damn, what does that tell you? How would the UK take Nigeria seriously when the life of the president of Nigeria is in their hands? Have we not already demeaned ourselves in the eyes of the UK? Instead of sentimental rant, every Nigerian should put pressure on the government to make Nigeria a working country so that we can gain respect of others. The world is a dog eat dog place. Weak nations can never be respected and you don't become strong by mouth, you need to work for it. We all love Nigeria but we need to tell ourselves the truth else we will remain like this and keep ranting forever. 1 Like |

CSTRR: Buhari can display patriotism by announcing a cancellation of his visit to the UK. No more medical tourism to the UK and giving them free money. Of what use is the ban when he will go to their hospital in the next 4 months again. The leadership class in Nigeria, Buhari inclusive are the reason why Nigeria has no iota of worth in the international community |

How do we convince the visa officers that she will come back when siblings in Canada are citizens and PRs and parents have access to Canada and she doesn't have a job and business in Nigeria? Anon123: Thank you very much. I have read the first pages and link ,it was helpful. Now, the money is not the problem. What I worry about is that she is not working and so she is not earning income. I will pay the school fees upfront. Do you think I should put her living expenses say 12kcad in her account? Or use my own account instead? Secondly another worry which I need suggestion is about home ties. I, the sponsor and my other siblings already live in Canada. She is our last born and she is not working at the moment. How do we present home ties with siblings in Canada and she not working in Nigeria, any suggestion? Thanks |

Hi guys, I want to sponsor a sibling who just got admission in Canada. How does the student visa processing work? Since I'll be the one paying all expenses, I guess I should be the one sending my account statements for visa application? She doesn't have any money so there would be no need sending her own account statement. Please how does visa processing work with someone who is going to be sponsored 100% by a sibling? And is it better to use agent for student visas or apply directly? Thanks you all |

Nigeria get sense at all? What is this nonsense all about? Is like the government will only be happy when this virus becomes a problem to Nigeria otherwise I don't see any reason why they have kept trying to make Nigeria suffer this virus. Even if it was true, why say it now? Ok, give the omicron world cup trophy to Nigeria. Nonsense! 1 Like |
