I need clarification and confirmation on this. I had a serious confrontation with Lastma on this at Ikorodu Garage. The idiot blocked the entire road, jumped into my passenger's seat and tried to pull my car key out of the ignition without explaining what my offence was.
Later, he said i was not wearing my seat belt. I was livid. Na there oga come from Office come settle the matter. I refused to move an inch.

Tinubu had no electoral value before he became governor in '99. He used the power of the state to garner that electoral value. That is exactly what Ambode should have done. Given the way Nigeria is governed, a state governor can actually become a dictator in his state. He has to use the big stick from his first day in office.
Chimaroke Nnamani did it in Enugu. He was lord and mighty. He threw Jim Nwobodo that put him in office under the bus. Even Ngige was able to curb Chris Uba in Anambra despite being asked to hand over the keys to the treasury under duress.

It's not about another party taking over Lagos, but about allowing the party to conduct a free and fair primary and for the sitting governor to have a say in who succeeds him. Tinubu is given too much powers to the extent that he decides who gets what. From LG chairmen, councillors, state assembly members, HoR, The Governor and the senators. That is just plain ridiculous.

Yes, it might be bloody to force change but because Yoruba people are afraid of blood, nothing will ever change. Many states in South East are still governed by the PDP, but the sitting governor decides who will take over from him most of the times. Are you aware that Tinubu was governor in 1999. Lagos people have to wake up. Grow some balls. Ambode's case was pathetic. Still is, because Tinubu will not let him even go to the senate. He chose someone who was not even a politician.
