RomanceRe: Why Your Partner Calls You When You Are Cheating by lonelydora:
Exactly. This was one of the reasons i stopped cheating.

Whenever I try to cheat or do some wrong movements, "My sweet heart" will just call and ask exactly those questions.

I believe there's something spiritual about it, but Christians won't believe it.

Don't cheat! Marriage is honorable in all and the bed undefiled, but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge

FamilyRe: Moms! Quit Putting Little Girls Through Torture In The Name Of Braiding Hair. by lonelydora: 7:08pm On Dec 23, 2019
computergeek:
Why do we have to teach little girls to go through unbearable pain for so-called beauty even when they are only a few months old?

I get so upset each time I see a little girl crying for hours unending at the salon while they pull, poke and prod her hair. The moms would actually be the ones holding the girls down while the hairdressers harden their hearts to the children's tears. I always wonder, what exactly are you trying to achieve by putting your child through so much pain just to have her sporting a few awkward-looking weaves? Since she's not old enough to decide that this is what she wants, she shouldn't be stressed and hurt just to look pretty. Are they looking for suitors? Do they have to start so early to stress to impress?

With her natural hair, well-oiled, combed and packed nicely into buns or tails, she'll still be the beautiful princess you gave birth to. I really hate children being put through any sort of skin pain. When my son was a baby, he was fussy about getting his hair cut, so much that we used to wait till he was deeply asleep before clipping his hair. Sometimes we'd only manage to go halfway, but we'll leave it like that until he sleeps again.

How do fathers permit this? When we were growing up, my dad would personally insist on the hairdresser coming to our place to braid so he could sternly warn her to go easy on our heads. When he saw that we still cried regardless, he had them cut off all our hair grin. We hated it then, but at least the gut-wrenching crying stopped.

Some little girls would be sick for days from the tight, skin-breaking braids their mothers would allow someone to put on their heads.

I remember a day I was getting a manicure at the salon, a little girl whose mom had dropped her off was getting hair done at the corner. She cried so much that after a while, there were no tears left to shed. Her irresponsible mother came back after a while and said, "Obego nke izizi?" As in, "Has she cried the first round?"

Just imagine.

Mothers please, this festive period, if your daughter hasn't been tortured yet, kindly look for something that won't cause her any pain and have them style her hair with it (shown in the second photo). She's beautiful however she looks. You're not in a competition with anybody to have the finest child. That's how they'll grow up to believe that they can never be beautiful without weaves and braids.
My daughter is actually going through one now. She has been crying since

Tragedy struck in the Dutse area of Abuja on Saturday as a police inspector, John Markus, killed his colleague and later committed suicide.

The incident which occurred very early in the morning at the Dutse Police Divisional Headquarters also left another police officer injured.

The Commissioner of Police in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Mr Bala Ciroma, confirmed this to Channels Television via a telephone interview.

The incident occurred as Markus who was said to be on duty as a station guard fired a round of ammunition into the air.

He was reported to have been called to order by a police corporal, Mathew Akubo, but the inspector turned to his subordinate and shot him in the head.

Thereafter, a Superintendent of Police Abdullahi Ovanu came out from the office to inquire what happened but the inspector also shot him in the arm.

A few minutes after the incident, Markus shot himself through his mouth.

The remains of the inspector and the corporal have been deposited at the mortuary in Kubwa General Hospital while the superintendent of police was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Released Boko Haram Commander back to the war front, leads deadly attacks
•Released Boko Haram Commander Shuaibu Moni
On April 1, communities of Bale Kura, Bale Shuwarin, Jamine and Alikaramti villages in Jere local government near Maiduguri, by Boko Haram, which officials said 29 people killed and 83 wounded.
Less than three days after the swap of 82 Chibok girls on May 7, 2017, and alleged payment of €3 million ransom for the release of five commanders from the custody of the SSS, a video of Mr Moni appeared, threatening the Nigerian state with continued attacks and suicide bombings.
On April 2, DAILY NIGERIAN reported how the SSS struck a prisoner swap deal with al-Barnawi faction of Boko Haram to release top Boko Haram commander, Hussaini Maitangaran, in exchange with Dapchi schoolgirls.
Mr Maitangaran a well-known senior commander of Islamic State of West Africa, ISWA, “has been on the Service and Nigeria Army radar since 2012, when he spearheaded the armed attacks on the office of the Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) Zone I, on 20th January, 2012, as well as other public places in Kano. MAI-TANGARAN was also responsible for the deadly explosive attacks against worshippers at the Kano Central Mosque as well as an attack on a military formation in Yobe State in 2015, which claimed hundreds of lives.”
The deal for the release of Messrs Moni and Maitangaran come under intense criticisms locally and internationally following allegations of corruptions against the mediators.
The unending hostage-taking by the terrorists, the swap and ransom payments process have further deepened doubts and skepticism on the sincerity of the deal.
The often cited International Committee of the Red Cross involvement in the negotiations turned out to be false, in a statement issued on February 22, 2018.
The agency had said that it only acted as an intermediary between the Boko Haram and the Nigerian Government in the provision of its vehicles used to transport the freed girls to Nigerian officials at Banki town in Borno State, North-East Nigeria.
“With the agreement of all the parties involved, we acted as a neutral intermediary to facilitate their transport back,” added the ICRC.
