Love is the greatest refreshment in life. It renews energy, it never drains it - that which drains energy can never be love. To experience it, one must always come into equity with clean hands while accepting nothing less from their partner, reciprocation of goodness is the soul of every healthy relationship. Reciprocation, however, doesn't need to be in equal and proportional measure. Man know thyself. You can never get it wrong provided that you are in the journey with someone who shares same ethical leanings - strong ethical leanings - with you. Meanwhile, I have observed and concluded that less than 10 percent of the world population have what it takes to love and what it takes to maintain love. |
Blessing and I were lenient and wrong according to the updated, but unofficial, information we received; the accurate figure is 99%. If anyone of you, however, wants a favorable official figure, we are usually susceptible to graft on a Thursday like this. I must succeed in helping Blessing to present her thoughts well. LOL. @Mariangeles Fountainofyouth chriskosherbal |
She's just lenient with her statistical appropriation; conversely, I'd say up to 98 percent of married women cheat or have penchant to cheat. The major difference between most married women who cheat and most married men who cheat is that, unlike the men who are usually crass with their action, women usually gloss their own action with disingenuousness. |
jelel6:LOL. I didn't say that respect is dependent on love, instead I say respect, just like care, fancy, trust, loyalty, etc, is an end product of the constituents of love - selflessness and humility, as attributes, are the constituents of love. So, love is encompassing, which means the mentioned end products (respect, trust, loyalty, care, etc) are the individual things that make up love - the big/action love. Each of the end products alone cannot guarantee a healthy marriage/romantic relationship - e.g. the girl you said you have deep respect for but don't love her. Once more, love is encompassing. Meanwhile, don't forget that there's a thin difference between respectfulness and respect. |

What kind of nonsense is this? I hope no one falls for your scam. Your deliberate change of my comment and imposition of your products show that you are a scam. I hope one of the mods will do the needful - @RoyalRoy, take note. |
Fountainofyouth:LOL. See me see wahala. If na me, ma personal person like you for know without guessing. In fact, na to become a catholic priest sure pass for me now because I want to go heaven. |
johnrix:Don't mistake bond for either love or respect - by virtue of being siblings, a bond is automatically and naturally created. And the bond can be sustained with just a single end product of one/more constituents of love or with just saneness - care or sensitivity does it in the scenario you presented. Care, just like respect, loyalty, etc, is an end product of constituents of love - sensitivity, on the other hand, is a sign of saneness. Love remains encompassing. Mutually shared ethical leaning is as strong as, if not stronger, the bond between siblings. As for siblings who share the same ethical leanings - strong ethical leanings - the mutual love is more refreshing than refreshment itself. LOL. |
gamapoy539:Our girlfriend must hear dis, remind me of that her phone number again. LOL. |
Ariza:LOL. I still de imitate you. Stay safe. |
Ariza:See as ma personal person de naked me for public. You want make I give you e-slap abi! |
He is a victim of his own feeble-mindedness. No one has ever used servility to sustain a relationship without regretting it in the end. |
Love - the big/action love which its feminine variation is submission. Love is a compound word/entity that is literally meaningless without its constituents, selflessness and humility (which are attributes) - it is encompassing. Respect/disrespect is one of end products of the constituents of love/lack of it. Saneness is a constant. However, if you are talking about the smaller love (soft spot or fancy), it's fickle. |
bukatyne:Enter a winery nearest to you and tell them to give you a trailer load of wine of your choice. The bill is on my head. |
The governor is a poor student of conventional politics. A shrewd student of conventional politics in his stead ought to have known that in a setting, like in our country, where almost all politicians don't play politics of principle and conviction, including himself, a beneficiary of political order doesn't deny their benefactor both loyalty and gratitude at the same time. He ought to have remained grateful to comrade Osh. while withholding his loyalty immediately after he gave him reason to question his own loyalty towards him. He boxed himself, but it's a good thing as he has put a strong fight so far. Once you play politics of expediency like that of principle and conviction, you'll get yourself boxed. |
Small-minded people will always mistake perfidiousness for cleverness. The guy should man up and reimburse her if all she said is true. |
He's a notional, not literal, billionaire because cumulative net income isn't the same thing as net worth. It's a rare feat all the same. He deserves kudos. |

Let me know if you studied law, I've an attractive offer that may interest you, regardless of your current job. |

Your lack of electoral value is actually the barrier between you and your state government house as a governor, because I wouldn't mind being part of the forces to help see you through to it out of my magnanimity. |
OBJ is a quasi-sole and quasi-soul of modern Nigeria. |
Decorum is the hallmark of self-realization/self-conquest/self-emancipation, but I don't expect a mentally parochial element like you to understand it. Crassness shouldn't be mistaken for truthfulness, expediency shouldn't be mistaken for cleverness, and imperiousness shouldn't be mistaken for confidence - of course, tactfulness isn't a sign of timidity and pretense. It's one thing to be opinionated but an entire different thing to be unassuming/unhypocritical in particular and conscientious in general. Actually, I didn't even know that a bumpkin like you exists in this forum prior to now, you must be feeling happy now that you have made me know. Don't worry, clout chasing isn't appealing to some of us. "I learned long ago, never to wrestle with a pig. You get dirty, and besides, the pig likes it" - George Bernard Shaw. Now direct your further mention to small-minded people like you. Bumpkin. |
Plead:Mischief-maker. LOL. |
pocohantas:I dey! Don't worry I go hola you elsewhere later. |
pocohantas:LOL. See as your blood de hot, you want make I send you e-slap too. I wonder how I go take hate ma own personal person, no be say we de quarrel. Biglittlelois understands the reason why I said dat to her; such instigative post go make the needless thread to escalate. Meanwhile, I no run, na 4 ur own benefit, make you no put allegation for ma head. |
bukatyne:One cup of chilled water for you. |
Biglittlelois:Keep quiet there before I send you e-slap. You don dey like whahala. LOL. |
One of the most underrated players ever. |
Don't tell me that you don't have ethic of conviction - if you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything. Give him an overdose of the treatment you've reserved for perfidious people in your life, because as the possible closest person to you all this while he must have received the largest portion of your goodness too - if his action is a retaliatory one, however, you're on your own. |
executive12:Come on! Go and look for your small-minded mates elsewhere. Of course, direct your further mention to them because I don't condone bumpkins. |
executive12:I don't do name-dropping. |
Yes. Some people have been amassing wealth without being perfidious since time immemorial. |
Whether or not you're a lady, your intention from your message has a connotation of transaction, which isn't outright a bad thing if only you can be unassuming and lay bare your terms and conditions before her and allow her to accept or decline on her own discretion, than love as you pronounced it. If you must take on the task, just eschew every disingenuous thoughts you've and take to unassumingness in relating, encouraging, helping and working with her for a mutually happy ending. |
