Tinubu and Co might be up to something. Same way of One of The APC governors from The South-south was blocked from entering Ondo state during the last gubernatorial election in The state because he was planning to unjustly influence voters with a heavy warchest of cash.
However, you dont kill a fly with a sledgehammer. The DSS should mount a more covert Operation.

Politics › Re: Channelstv Presidential Debate: A.P.C Should Stop Misleading The General by lozanni(m): 4:22pm On Feb 02, 2015
barcanista:
Two days after Muhammadu Buhari Campaign spokesman announced the boycott of the amiable General from the PDP sponsored NEDG Presidential Debate, ChannelsTV in partnership with ARISETV and Newspaper Proprietors Association of Nigeria announced their proposed Presidential debate between the Amiable General Muhammadu Buhari and His Excellency President Ebelemi Jonathan. Fans and supporters of the General including yours faithfully jubilated and really looked forward to the clash of the political titans. We were happy because unlike the NEDG composition where all the members have ties with the PDP and the Presidency, that of the ChannelsTV/NPAN/AriseTV carries a toga of fairness and neutrality. It came as a shock when I read the news of withdrawal by the APC strategist Mr. Dele Alake

Channels Television owned by Chief John Momoh is one of the only few unbiased broadcast station. John Momoh has dinstinguished himself as a professional Journalist right from his days in Radio Nigeria and Nigeria Television Authority. He has never held any appointment for any party neither is he known to fraternise with any political party. If any Television Station enjoy respect from among their pairs for their stand on neutrality, that station is Channels TV.

AriseTV is an international broadcast station with broadcast houses in London, Lagos, New York and Johannesburg. I am yet to see their frolicking with any Nigeria politician or government official. They are unbiased in their reportage.

NPAN is an association of all the print media owners. In other words, both the neutral, biased, political and non-political are members of this Association.

Considering the composition of the debate coordinators, one cannot help but agree that the unbias of the organisers is not in doubt. The APC should allow the amiable General to go head to head with the President, and allow Nigerians the chance to assess both candidates. Personally, I believe in the ability and administrative skills of the amiable General, I also believe in him to take on the President and floor him in the debate. This will not be the first time that the General will partiicipate in a political debate, he debated in 2007 and 2011 and was very impressive. His accent is not a problem to me as long as he passes the right message. APC should allow the General participate and stop making it look like the General is afraid of debate. The excuse of Dele Alake is unacceptable and illogical. I hope that the party will reconsider their position.

God bless the General
God Bless Nigerians
@Ops, What did you expect before ?
Cowardice can not be wished away,as It will eventually manifest in The conduct and words of The
coward.
I can always predict That APC goons will always take to their heels, with their tails tucked between their legs, whenever a debate is called for.
Lolz.

AkoEja:
This does not make sense at all! You are basically suggesting that the corrupt leader is better than one that is not. This is not true. It is not enough to be upright and incorruptible, you also need to be a good leader. You can be a Saint without knowing how to lead the people, and you can be corrupt and also not know how to lead your people.

A good leader needs to be incorruptible, visionary and full of ability to steer the country in the right way
We Are saying the same thing. Read My write-up again, you will see That I Said Incorruption and uprightness Are good virtues, but above all We need strong institutions to make government work.
You only quoted part of My write-up in Error.

Though I ain't partisan but Reno is right ,Nigeria's' problem is the lack of strong institutions. Throwing corrupt officials in prison will not stop corruption, it will just make individuals more professional and discreet when they steal.
You need to put systems in place that would prevent stealing. 90% of politicians in both parties are corrupt now will you throw them all in prison, hell no...
For instance, what reduces shoplifting in shop rite or any other large supermarket, it's not that people who shop there are saints, but simply the knowledge that cameras are installed by every stall.....
Well Said bro!!! It is The enthronement of strong institutions That GEJ is working on. APC Are only concerned with corruption and uprightness, which Are Good virtues too, but without strong institutions to drive The government will eventually lead to inefficiency and ineffectiveness of government.
Someone once Said That The late President of Tazania, Julius Nyerere was So incorruptible and upright and That this incorruptible virtue has thrown Tazania into deep poverty and backwardness, which They Are yet to recover from until today.
We, therefore should be wary of The incorruptible candidate when casting our votes.

Its not easy oohh.
Soludo who is critisizing NOI and pontificating against GEJ's Administration,
has some questions to answer too about his stewardship at CBN. If I can recall many banks got distressed under his watch and it took the intervention of GEJ, through the AMCON, to bail the banks out of their financial predicament shortly after Sanusi Lamido Sanusi was appointed as the CBN Governor.

Crap as usual from the unintelligent president.

Going by your warped reasoning, it doesn't matter if the younger person is competent or not.

OBJ who led from age 70 till 78, despite our condemnation of his regime, has turned out to be far better than yours by every parameter with which good governance is measured.

If you had performed well beyond the mediocre achievements you hype about, Buhari would have been a DOA (dead on arrival) case but since your performance has been an "F", we youths are once again relying on the so-called old but sincere General.

In your myopic calculation, you will not mind supporting any of the younger thieves and looters who dominate your government.

You remain the worst president Nigeria has ever known.
Jeez, you APC brat ascribing motives to GEJ which he can never support.

GEJ until 2019, after That The youths take over like in Britain, US and The rest of The civilized world.
Health › Re: What To Do With My Wife's Placenta????? by lozanni(m): 8:40am On Jan 24, 2015
delishpot:
Cord blood is a sample of blood taken from a newborn baby's umbilical cord. It is a rich source of stem cells, which have been used in the treatment of over 80 diseases,[1] including leukemia, lymphoma and anemia. The most common disease category has been leukemia. The next largest group is inherited diseases (of red blood cells, the immune system and certain metabolic abnormalities.) Patients with lymphoma, myelodysplasia and severe aplastic anemia have also been successfully transplanted with cord blood.[citation needed] Parents may choose to bank their newborn's cord blood against the possibility that it will be useful in the future, should the child or a related family member fall victim to a disease that is treatable by cord blood stem cells.[citation needed]

Cord blood is collected from the umbilical cord vein attached to the placenta after the umbilical cord has been detached from the newborn.[2] Cord blood is collected because it contains stem cells, including hematopoietic cells, which can be used to treat hematopoietic and genetic disorders. One unit of cord blood generally lacks stem cells in a quantity sufficient to treat an adult patient. The placenta is a much better source of stem cells since it contains up to ten times more than cord blood.[3] Some placental blood may be returned to the neonatal circulation if the umbilical cord is not prematurely clamped.[4] According to Eileen K. Hutton, PhD, and Eman S. Hassan, MBBch, cord clamping should be delayed a minimum of two minutes to prevent anemia over the first three months of life and enriching iron stores and ferritin levels for as long as 6 months. (Ref. "Late vs Early Clamping of the Umbilical Cord in Full-term Neonates," JAMA, March 21, 2007) If the umbilical cord is not clamped, and it is not during an extended-delayed cord clamping protocol, a physiological postnatal occlusion occurs upon
interaction with cold air, when the internal gelatinous substance, called Wharton's jelly, swells around the umbilical artery and veins.
You Are very correct.
I also heard, don't know If Its true, That some big cosmetic firms in Europe, mix The blood with other chemicals to produce highly nourishing skin cremes.

Shameful on the side of NCC. They have also joined the league of government agencies playing partisan politics.
Jonathan and PDP wants to destroy Nigeria but we must never let it happen.

Their unsolicited text messages were becoming a bit of nuisance and am sure Telecomm companies subscribers must have complained to The NCC about The noisy invasion of their privacy. NCC had to act to protect the consumers.
Let APC use The traditional media of Television, Radio and Newsprint, So That people who don't like their noise can change channels or flip to other pages.

Too much drink can turn a very rational man into an uncontrollable beast.
I remember attending a wake keep for a relative and was given a drink, which was not opened. I innocently asked a fella near me for a bottle-opener and he reacted very furiously towards me, because of a mere question.
The fella wanted to fight me with his bottle, from the way he held it while shouting furiously, but I was pulled to safety by a Cousin who witnessed the whole event.
The fella, eventually, sobered up and by the next morning walked up to me to apologise. It was an all night wake-keep and I could not believe it was the same fella who wanted to attack me earlier on.
