Logicboy03: Welcome, Honourable mod.

The previous 3 mods all failed

Ajibam and HBG resigned (due to their acceptance of their incompetence)
Obadiah777 nuked himself and deactivated his account

Mynd_44 was imposed on us.
I like Obadiah's modding though smiley he seemed fair to me undecided

striktlymi: Mynd is now becoming a tyrant for God knows what reason. I guess doing well in other sections is no guaranty that one would do well in the Religion section. Placing bans on members for very flimsy reasons is no way to moderate.

Plus if Mynd cannot see how Ihedinobi's thread is ideal for the Religion section then I doubt his ability to moderate the Religion section effectively. I supported his appointment but now I am not 'feeling' him as I used to.

texanomaly: Did you report it? The mods are not omniscient. They can't see every infraction. If you have a problem with something, report it. That's what "report" is for.

Look...I realize Mynd is a little trigger happy in the religion section right now. Hopefully it is temporary. Seun will remedy the situation soon, and the Religion Section will have new mods. One can only hope. Please Seun. STOP THE MADNESS!

You think anyone reported my post to him before he ban me? A post that was made 2days before he became Mod and not deserving of a 3days ban

Well I would have gladly reported the 3 or 4 posts made by @tpia but I didn't for 2 reasons
1. The insults weren't directed to me or any African spirituality but the OP of the thread
2. I was ban from religion section, and am serving my banishment efficiently

This is another thread Divepen was abusive to catholics www.nairaland.com/1559682/some-things-attract-demons-people

But we don't see a 3days ban or more

Logicboy03: In order to paint me as a bad person, Mynd_44 pulls out 32 hidden posts of mine most of which happened a long time before he was even a mod
He ban me for something I posted 2days before he became mod

Is that normal?

alutacontinua: I think op is taking this too far!
I'm assuming this Pastor is actually old enough to be called daddy, u don't have to make it look like the woman has committed such an unforgivable sin! It's not right to enforce such but she clearly doesn't see it that way! I'm also assuming she's Yoruba nd we all know how much Yoruba people handle the whole 'respect' ish! IMO, you don't have to take it this personal. If you call him daddy and dt makes the wife happy, it wouldn't bite your tongue! There are some other things to be worried about than daddy or no daddy jare!
Keep quite with this 'yoruba' respect thing angry Are they Yoruba? Because if they are they shouldn't be worshiping a dead Jew in their church instead worship the God of their fatherland.

That's just silly @Op

I noticed that's wat happens in pentecostal churches now. No matter the age, I don't know whether I'll call it pride or plain nonsense but either way it's rubbish and You should leave the church, such churches have nothing to offer

MY NAME NA YAHWEH ABI JESUS? I BE GOD? I BE BIBLE? GO and destroy the concept you have problem with, spare me and my buddies.
Who is talking about God or Jesus huh
Where did this one enter this issue undecided
You with ur delusional state of mind trying by force by fire to create middle east origin for Yoruba and using Bible to research. Does that mean I fight God? like how can God be foughthuh
Or it's the holy spirit that is leading u to see things that only exist in ur mind?

Bros the Bini origin claim seems authentic even though I feel more research is needed I don't think the Omo n'Oba would lie about this, unless it's just a confusion

Is Oduduwa truly from Igodomigodo?
Culture › Re: Ado - Ladionline, Discuss. by macof(m): 9:42pm On Dec 21, 2013
MetaPhysical: This is contradictory!

First you say its about the race, I dont see anyone here talking about their father, grandfather, greatgrandfather and lineage; we are all talking about Yoruba race. Are we not?

Then you say people are distorting history. Are you aware that Yoruba antiquity is recorded in arts, oratory, myth, rites and so on? History is one part of its many records. In fact, its written history is far younger than any of its other methods of records. To add further, Yoruba myth is much richer and authentic than its written history. Becareful throwing the word "history" around. I know its a popular phrase but it is nonetheless susceptible to biases and inaccuracies.

Lastly you say you respect people's right to find their path but you jump in when that path is out of synch with yours. There are different schools of thought on Yoruba roots, they fall into two broad areas. If you have a path ypu want to research and discuss on you only need to open a thread wih the subject and people will contribute; Im sure you are fully aware of this. So Im lost as to your interest in trying to change opinion on a quest path that is different from one you subscribe to.

Good! Sit and watch. This is a point for collecting info, sort of an exchange. It is not the portal or container for all the aggregated knowledge. I dont think anyone will be dumb as to place the building blocks and conclusive output of their research here in NL when publishing agents out there are hungry and steadily soliciting for materials to publish and earn fame. If I have anything to teach and change the discussion on Yoruba roots and presence in AfroAsia you will not read it here from Metaphysical, you will be buying a book to learn it. Im sure you share that feeling.
Point is This whole thread as been fused with BS

Edo= Edomites of the Bible
Ijebu= jebusites
Ekiti= amalakites

First u mention 'Ado' ur friend mentions Adonia
Then you both start Parading with certainty that middle east is where people came from and settled in yorubaland hence the name 'Ado'
Later Ado becomes Adam
Rebecca covering her face when she first met Isaac became part of Yoruba custom
Isaac is Isokun in Yoruba
A river in Ikorodu is mentioned in the Bible

Like seriously why won't I stop this from going to far?

Culture › Re: Why Do Edo People Speak Yoruba? by macof(m):
eaxes: Absolute rubbish. Saying akoko in edo state Ãήϑ akoko in ondo are sibling tribes is akin to saying people in the state of georgia, USA and people in the country of Georgia are kinsmen.
Akoko edo people are not yoruba in anyway. I am of the Igarra tribe Ãήϑ am not related †☺ people in akoko in ondo. Heck am not even related linguistically, ethnically †☺ other tribes in akoko edo. Although the other tribes in akoko edo are related †☺ each other Ãήϑ understand themselves but not us. ψє arε̲̣̣̣̥ related †☺ the igbirra( our nearest kinsmen) Ãήϑ igalla our ancestral kinsmen
And where did I say akoko ondo or akoko edo are Yorubahuh

I even posted here that only Oyo are Yoruba and Ekiti, Owo, Akure, Ijesa etc. aren't Yoruba

You already explained that Akoko-Edo is diverse and Igarra are more Igala than Edo, they just happen to find themselves in that area
So my apologies for the confusion of Akoko- Edo being unified

I find that everything isn't as it seems that's why am trying to get things straight because so many outside people don't understand.
