USA is building the biggest embassy inside Eko Atlantic...I see this lady coming to live in Nigeria in the near future. Save this message and keep in mind that I mentioned it here first LOL. Tinubu is the Architect of Eko Atlantic and the new President-Elect of Nigeria. The NWO is here...Gas Pipeline to Europe is loading...expect loads of forex into Nigeria soon. EcoBrick: |
and you expect the fortunes of a country to turn in 8yrs under a democratic government....you think cases in courts will just happen by snapping a finger...or you cant see the roads, rails, concessions, new ports, new airports, agro investment, industries and so on....if you have given up on Nigeria, please don't dismantle the hopes of others. Xscape1993: |
Thank you for the nice words. I have a BSc Chemistry...I am not working as a Chemist I have a MSc Engineering...I am not working as an Engineer I work as a teacher teaching Engineering, run my tutoring business that I started in Nigeria as a 16yr old going house to house in 1999-20 already making N8500 a month...and now into real estates small small in Nigeria. Your education is not meant to give a job even in your field of education..It's called applying yourself using the knowledge gained. I still hustle but at 40, I am already planning my retirement and by the way...went to a public secondary school in Ibadan not some fancy expensive one. Freo: |
As typical of most Nigerians...they are educated illiterates and have no sense of history. Ask the youth about Oputa Panel and you will wait forever for answers....Obasanjo...he is one of our worst Presidents. I am still wondering how he got Ota Farm. Anyone ever wonder why he never won his Polling Units? You think his people just dislike him small...he was President for 8yrs. I vote for tearing down that library after his demise because even someone told Soyinka to ask Obj about Bola Ige's death...we know how he dealt with Lagos during his regime, rigged election and information reaching us said his PDP removed Obi from power...the same Obi he now supports. Fear Man Moh247: |
They must have given him a matching order...it's his fault APC lost Osun...to Adeleke which snowballed into Tinubu loosing Osun to Atiku...which also snowballed into all the issues at Lagos prior to election leading to Tinubu loosing Lagos...so trying to get into the incoming president's good grace is what I think all this is. If Osun went to Oyetola after Ekiti win...we won't even be here. Even if Sanwo Olu wins Lagos, I won't trust a man like Aregbesola if I was Tinubu ever again. You work against your party should be ground for removal ...even the G5 Governors should face the same axe. [quote author=tinsel post=121682408] ] |
While I could debunk most of his plans....I don't have time to do so. I listened to him for 1hr on Channels and shake my head. I will focus on one...Traffic ..why? He is an Architect so this should be his expert area. Proposal 1 from GRV - Lagosians will pay if they travel alone in their vehicles and travel for free in groups...carpooling. This is the same as tolls and what happens If people drop their kids off and have to travel alone in some areas...paying everyday is increased taxes on people which cancels the minimum wage increase that would affect inflation anyways. Proposal 2 - Build a Bridge with many connecting bridge up to 16 along Lagos corridor. When you connect 16 roads to the same bridge during rush hour, the traffic that will pile up if you have major accidents will be shocking unless those some roads can connect to other communities at the back end. He also wants to toll these roads based on how you exit...how he plans to acquire all these lands without lengthy court cases and huge compensation will be great to see. Proposal 3 - Allow private companies with buses to get into BRT...if you do a free for all, how can people recoup their investments? Even USA don't do a free for all...proposals are received and the best is picked to run which is the model Lagos Govt is using right now Proposal 4 - Dredge the water so larger vessels can be used to transport people. Very nice but it will increase unemployment...if 100 boats can move 1000 people and you get a double decker boat that can move 100 people, you have cut employment to 10%...so 90% of people have lost their jobs. The problem with most Nigerians like I keep saying is the ignorance of how things work...when a novice embarks on governance like Obama did...be very worried. They will only bring chaos to the system and not very many lasting legacies. All the best to Lagos on Saturday Mediahq: |
The mistake people like GRV make by pointing fingers at slums is the same thing that happens in the US. You solve one problem and create many more. Let us say the Govt decides to tear down all these Lagos slums in order to build new ones...You will have the following: 1. Migration of people...to where? 2. Less people per sqm which again leads to migration 3. Increased rent which again leads to migration 4. Increased cost of living 5. Court cases because some won't give up their lands easily 6. Very high compensation It all sounds great until one actually tries to end one problem..and this is why I don't like politics and politicians that just focus on pictures, videos and lots of talking. Governance is hardwork Lagos Govt introducing new roads into these communities are gradual steps to raise the values of the houses and lands which would then stimulate growth and development. Ghana is facing massive issues with sudden growth and locals can't afford their own cities anymore. Some parts of Lagos have cheaper rents than Ibadan...go figure Sorrynovex: |
Maybe that was why I struggled with appreciating the essence of learning because I had to work throughout undergrad and graduate schools to take care of family and to pay for school. Now I am paying for school comfortably...I am not studying because I need a better job or better pay...I am truly focused on understanding leadership which is the focus of my PhD...and that has really helped even with other personal life choices. I do agree with you...struggle makes it harder which is why children of rich people often head companies because they were able to immerse and apply practical knowledge in most cases....for struggling students...na just to get better job and pay Asour: |
It took me....decades to realize the purpose of school is to acquire knowledge in order to make informed decisions and not to carry papers. I am studying for PhD now and I enjoy learning and doing my work...this has also translated to personal life choices, tracking news and trends, analyzing data, picking the right investments and so on...if you don't immerse yourself into the true essence of learning, education will be useless to you. Sometimes I feel I made a serious mistake going to the tertiary institution. |
Akpabio does not have experience in the Senate and relationship which will matter when people vote. I prefer SE Umahi to Akpabio or Kalu...he did a lot for Ebonyi and a transplant from PDP so he should have relationship on both sides of the aisle but being new to the rulling party is his only downside and lack of experience too TheNiceGuy: |
Keep in mind politicians were collecting opposition PVC..I am guessing they overvoted in some areas because you can't accreditate without PVC but it will show registered...and where there are more votes than accreditation, that PU according to the Electoral Act. cos some of you don't read and educate yourself...it's so sad we are the most educated but a lot of people I speak to are educated and still ignorant. Seems to me there is a reason Umahi came to APC and is headed to the Senate. Keep in mind Umahi is the Chairman of the SE Governors' Forum and he has done very well at Abakaliki. He has been very favorable to Buhari, and unlike Orji Urzo Kalu, there is no sense of anti-party activities hanging over his head. Orji Kalu will however have the upper hand with more people more likely to be favorable to him at the party level, but PDP, LP, and APC might actually prefer Umahi, and APC might consider all of these permutations. We shall see. PrinceOfLagos: |
I love people that can Maths....I am US based and I cant cook up those numbers hahaha....the food wont be eatable. onegig: |

The Same ASUU that 1. Rejected Tinubu for Obi 2. Rejected student loans are now dictating to the President-Elect. They better come on board and agree to 1. No more handouts 2. Increased tuition fees 3. Loans for poor students 4. Increased funding for institutions and Increased salaries 5. True autonomy of their Universities 6. Transparency It's a NEW DAWN. It took them a while to send in their congratulations...we get it..their candidate ti lule. Toneypen247: |
Do you realize If the voter numbers don't match accreditation...they will reject and cancel the Polling units? The fact that a result says one thing does not mean that is what will be reported. This was the Osun Saga...failure to cancel overvoting before announcing results and INEC promised not to repeat the same ..now the issue of BVAS and uploading is another saga...and they will correct that in the next election. Election processes always improve...even US does not have bimodal in Maryland ...I walk in, tell them my name and date of birth...and they look on the list and I vote...no ID needed to confirm in the State of Maryland. mosegifted: |
Afenife-whatever should go and stick with their candidate and not tell our own how he should govern. Talawaka: |
What does milky white discharge indicate? Producing milky white discharge is the body’s way of cleaning sexual organs, keeping them healthy and functioning well. In some cases, however, discharge from the vagina or penis can be a signal that something else is going on inside the body. It is very possible he made some promises and did not fulfill them. The IT company is going through a lot right now. Zoom has fired some workers, but I doubt it will be enough. They should have expanded into Africa and encouraged the use of Zoom like HP and NetFlix did. You can extend your life for 2-3yrs. Blackberry did not do that and suffered a painful death. BLACKBERRY had the opportunity to become the number one phone in Nigeria and Africa with BB Messenger....they did not even try. HonNL: |

Steps to stop Iran Nukes - Sabotage internally --- did not work - Virus to blow the system --- did not work - Killing of their scientists -- did not work - Causing unrest in the country --- did not work - Bombs and explosions --- did not work Now Iran is with Russia coupled with China...they are probably sharing intelligence to improve on Uranium enrichment and the world is tired of Western hypocrisy. They won't get much support just like they are really on their own with their Ukraine war. Holiness2100: |

Jandor would go down easily...they might just split PDP votes again and with no Peter Obi, APC might be able to keep power. Also all those that didnt come out for APC in Presidential ...with Asiwaju in Power now...they would mobilize better derecho: |
These utterances show "From the abundance of heart, the mouth speaketh" "From their fruits, we shall know them." "You have been told a eye for an eye, but what makes you different from the unbelievers. I say to you...love your enemies." I am disappointed we have unbelievers now as Christ followers. Be very ashamed. Your heart is far from God. 9jaChooseTinubu: |
