So all these panels are connected to one MPPT SCC?

I have two growatt connected in parallel. The panels are shared between the two. I know I'm almost maxing out the max PV of 450v, but the wattage is still 4kw for each when it can do up to 6kw. I'm thinking of adding one more and running it as a three phase system and upgrading the battery.

I guess you've two 14.3kwh LFP battery banks connected in parallel otherwise 8kw pv maybe too much for a single 14.3kwh battery bank especially as you stated that the loads are not much.
I admire your zeal...... 20 pcs of 400w jinko pv is real cash.
If I'm not deceived by memory, there was a time you wanted to sell you quanta batteries and replace them with coupled lithium batteries.

I gave out my lead acid batteries. Bought EVE from China when there was no vendor, not that I know of, selling it here. Actually bought 32 nos of 3.2v 280AH EVE cells. Decided to use 16 and kept 16. Later sold the 16, should've kept it. Lol.

I like to oversize my solar panels so that I don't use batteries during the day. I use growatt.

Try pressing the UP or DOWN buttons for other things. WH is Watt-Hour which is energy is the total produced produced so far.

If you're talking about Bitmama, then not all the negative playstore reviews you see are true. You know why? Their dollar card is what am currently using for shopping on aliexpress. The uploaded Pic reveals their dollar card and my recent transactions on AliExpress.

A beginner can even start with 40A lead acid car battery. Some people just need lightings of 2 bulbs(10w) and phone charging. This set up can turn on tv on a sunny afternoon for few hours. Solar set up na small small.

I know of a friend who was desperate to charge just few phones. He got a crack pv ( Alaba version) , 20A cc ( very small in size), msw inverter, and normal AC cable instead of regular pv cables, with a 75a used car battery.

I like your friend. I liked the doggedness to go the renewable route. This system can only get better. Cheers.

Those reviews are fake. Check it very well, the 90% of the reviews are coming from anonymous buyer "AliExpress Shopper".

They use this fake review strategy to attract the gullible ones. Do not buy that item. It will end in premium tear. I have warned you.

And again, this item is not ssd. It's a flash drive.

Like i said earlier, the card has been terminated some weeks back, the card in question is Klasha Black Card(Virtual dollar card)

I actually opened the dispute & won before it occurred to me that i have been using both Black card & Pink card simultaneously from Klasha before the termination of Black card, now that the card is no more & the items i purchased that i opened dispute on was made using the black card, what is my fate now, if og had occurred to me earlier, i would've made enquiries before commencing, now Aliexpress said my money will reach me between 3 - 10 days

I think the refund should hit your Klasha account. But if it didn't, contact the customer care.

You still have 15 days after purchase protection runs out to file dispute. Wait for protection to run out before you file a dispute to increase your chances of winning.
As long as the account attached to the card is still active, your refund will hit the account, card expiry got nothing on refund, unless the card the in question is a virtual card which is a gray area to me.

It's not better than Gotok and $1 card creation fee is a smoke screen.$3 is the minimum amount for card creation, where one $1 is charged for the Card creation itself. Subsequent topping of the card will attract a $1 fee if the amount is less than $100 or 1% if above $100. Now tell me, how is this remotely better than Gotok?.

Nothing comes close to Gotok for now in the Virtual Dollar Card space and i do sincerely hope they find a new card issuer if not, one is better off getting a dollar Prepaid card or Dom account from these banks than these slavery gag that these fintechs are offering. Trust me, it's way less hassle.

The Powmr is good for someone who is just starting his journey in solar and wants to keep entry costs low while learning the ropes

But my reason for comparing was, how does this compare with what I already have?

Should I take the plunge?

Does the cost benefit ratio make sense?

Finally having benefitted immensely from the wealth of knowledge on this thread, I was obligated to pay it forward

I will do a similar thing between the 1.5KVA Homaya Home that I already have and the new 3 kW/4 kW/6kW Homaya Pro that was introduced sometime in July 2022

Based on the specs alone, I think it is a good buy

That's almost 3x the cost of PowMr. With that much difference in cost, if it doesn't have more capabilities, then it doesn't make sense to get it.

Thankfully the several high priests I reached out to were able to save me and put me back in service

So I will complete the rest of the review in picture format

Maximum PV withstanding voltage for Powmr is 160 volts but the company itself warns not to run it at that rate for long because it will break the controller.

So I would say that figure is not to be relied upon

At 200 volts max PV withstanding voltage, Homaya has better capacity.

What's the cost difference?

You can connect all the panels. Connect 2 in series so you will have 6 panels in parallel @ 44v total voltage

Stil trying to understand this lifepo4 ba3. How much can I get a lifepo4 that can match up with 2.5kva inverter?

How much first depends on the following:


1) the capacity of lifepo4 battery you want, is it 75ah, 100ah, 150ah, 200ah, 220ah, 280ah, 320ah etc?

2) the number of lifepo4 cells you buy which is dependent on your inverter dc voltage such as 12v, 24v, 48v inverter system.

3) the make of the lifepo4, eg freestyle lifepo4 aka "anything you see, take", CATL, Eve, Lishen, REPT, etc

4) the grade of the lifepo4, there is grade A, B and C

5) the condition of the lifepo4; is it new or used or fairly used.

Lifepo4 is a just a battery chemistry with more number of cycles and higher energy density compared to the old school lead acid battery.

But if you don't want to bother your head with all these, there is a nairalander that is doing well in selling good quality lifepo4.
