Looking at the church interior and the vestments of the 'priest' in question this not a Catholic church nor is he a catholic clergyman. It appears more probably Anglican which means he may actually be married besides the Catholic nuptial liturgy in Nigeria generally don't use the 'you may kiss the bride' invitation when the wedding is being celebrated within a mass. |
I will come inspect the car tomorrow. |
This is an impressive record. Sounds like Harvard |
asuustrike2009:This is very true in Agungi, Lekki where I live for some strange reason our transformer develops fault every weekend (starting precisely from Friday evening) and is miraculously resolved on Monday afternoon like clockwork. This is the same thing every public holiday. |
It's a supervisory role and it could help you build some experience in the hospitality industry which is an evergreen and growing economic sector. |

Dharniel:Wrong comparison...Russia and North Korea are not English speaking. As for his accent I can always forgive an accent. In all I most say that his English is not bad, his tenses are always correct and he strings his words better than his predecessor. |

Was almost sure this was not Ajegunle in Apapa |
NDLEA can investigate to be sure it's not from drug smuggling activity but I know for a fact that many small oil service firms get paid amounts in excess of this for services rendered to IOCs and frankly all of them will readily sell these dollar earnings in the parallel market than exchange it at bank rate and frankly they have the right. |
If an interview is in Igando....big red flag |
In UNIBEN we had Buka 1-11, Campus Sheraton and Main Cafeteria (also called basement). Coal stove? Definitely a no no. |
sharpman1:Go write the exam and prove your professional competence and academic stamina....not the one paper per year which ACCA allows |
I really cannot believe that our holy mother church ordained priests that have become ethnic bigots and power mongers |
Great students....bringing theory to life. |
The catholic church has never described these events as miracles. Some of them are at best described as confirmed apparitions and epiphanies. We have many confirmed miracles which are usually subject to immense medical, administrative and spiritual scrutiny before being officially declared. I am aware that two of these pictures are confirmed marian apparitions in the roman catholic church but are not necessarily essential articles of faith but are recognized as true events and revelations (many of which have come true). |
Good for the University's profile...studied for my masters at NYU and had a nobel laureate on the faculty take me on one course and it was really a big deal for we students. |
Rest in Peace |
But this is a primary school leaving certificate |
I doubt this is UNIBEN's faculty of law...the law faculty was in a very modern complex with real theatre like classes while I was there between 1997 and 2000. Also law students had a white and black formal dress code. |
I guess he will now help the police find Mrs Abiola's murderers.....? |

Congrats to Madam Fati...best 1st Lady yet..she's an inspiration to career women. |
I sincerely empathize with Mr. Shem for the cruel way he has been excessively mocked and caricatured in the Nigerian social media space. Given, his performance at the interview was way below expectation and should warrant some form of sanction.....however I have never known Nigerian government agencies to employ ivy league quality personnel and frankly many with such quality would rather not work in the civil service....for obvious reasons. Shem is a product of our shabby public education system (destroyed by years of military rule) and is no different from many of the individuals that have mocked him incessantly and cruelly in the social media. Many of these pinging, mohawk sporting and sagged jeans wearing youth are just as uninformed about contemporary matters....I wish they showed the same zeal in flaying The Presidency's controversial state pardons last week as they have with this 'oga at the top' craze. Sometimes I fear we are cursed with a shallow generation that think being able to 'ping' , 'tweet' or post on You Tube makes them more educated than Shem is. |
The compensation is handled by the insurance company not the airline itself. Dana was fully insured. So as long as the affected parties have all necessary documentation they will be fully compensated. I think the insurers just want to be careful not to pay the wrong people. |
St. Theresa's Minor Seminary, Ibadan.....1901 Catholic secondary school for boys (with an eye for priestly vocation)...definitely the oldest privately (catholic mission) owned secondary school in Nigeria that was never taken over by government....still a historical wonder to behold. Located on Oke Are hill in Ancient Ibadan. http://www.oke-areseminary.com/ |
