it has more to do with the high endemic corruption and lack of good management practices in nigeria than bad charactercheesy. Thats why no nigerian brand business enterprise hardly thrives.
Lol we just said the same thing. Dont all those things you said indicate a faulty national character? your own is just more detailed than mine cheesy
Politics › Re: EFCC Boss, Magu, Wants Inclusion Of Anti-graft Studies In School Curricula by midnighter(f):
I thought they already had something on this in that their SSS (social and security studies?). i saw my cousin with one textbook like that. And CRK, Physical health and all those. all of these subjects are actually beating around the bush because history is not taught until tertiary level. the best lessons are the ones from the past

if the people in power stopped doing it, the children would stop. Where do they think children get those ideas from huh

maybe its not really what we teach, but how. critical thinking, analysis and problem-solving skills should be a common thread woven through all stages of education. they should be able to weigh information (eg. if doing yahoo will be any good to them, in the long run) in a sensible and well-informed manner.

Not just to go to school and copy lines from a book about "Why Corruption is Not Good". Even the ruling government could write volumes on why its not good yet they still persist in committing atrocities

There are probably a lot of good classroom discussions to be had from the topic, too. Its actually more of a philosophy or ethics class topic. Not a standalone subject

even if eithiopian airline is bad it is still far far far better and advanced than any airline company operating in nigeria. We dont want to be talking about all these dead flying jalopeys operating in nigeria that we call aircrafts.
Lol, youre telling me

Well thats because of our bad character, not that we cant do as well as Ethiopia or maybe better, if we tried

Yeah. I speak fluent Sarcasm.

50 years ago Nigeria had the same probably it has today, only difference is that the problems have escalated.

But still I think the AU should interfere in the affairs of Cameroon before we have a real problem on our hands.
I agree with you but i have been led to believe that AU (if what you mean is African Union) is almost completely useless

What they need to do is sit up and oust the Biya fellow from power. He's just making a mockery out of all of them

Lol i just realised you were being sarcastic. I was like huh .

Ahn! I wonder if, even in 50 years time, we will have something good to say for ourselves

Some people here are doing exactly what Boeing wanted. Which is to blame the pilot for a glitch in their software that they refused to fix.

And because its a 3rd world african country, they will do their best to make Ethiopian Airlines look as _stupid as possible to shield themselves from the glare of popular media and save their skin.

As someone here said, we dont even have a national carrier, now we're saying rubbish about another country's pilot without any evidence

That he's young or whatever doesnt mean the stuff is his fault. He had thousands of miles' worth of experience

Just because this country wants people to be 65 years old before they have a decent job or assume a normal responsibility

Gerontocracy is bad

Lol guys on this forum are not ok

It was her right hand that was amputated. Assuming she uses right, it will be difficult to rehabilitate her

Noone has asked how she will write, cook, carry out normal tasks of daily living. Or how she will get a prosthesis if she can afford it.

Just talking of pant and bra, mouth gigs and other such nonsense

Thats how they ravaged nsukka some time ago

Though im still not too convinced that all these people are true fulani herdsmen. Some are just some mischievous politically-motivated elements

What a shame. Look how everybody on this thread has become an expert on MCAS tech because Boeing/ Ethiopian Air couldnt be bothered to train people anew

If they had done the right thing, would we be talking about this huh

They are blaming the dead man who cannot speak for himself. But if he had refused to fly the plane until he got the required training, he would have lost his job

They actually killed him and everyone on the plane

I hope his family is learned and financially buoyant enough to speak up in his defence, because everybody is trying to weasel out of paying compensation. O di egwu
