Let me try to answer this as politically correct as possible. Occasionally a Christian might find himself trying to be righteous and in those moments he may actually resist these things but like everyone else he also finds himself in times of weakness where he falls for these temptations and runs to God to ask for forgiveness for haven fallen.
That said, at the end of the day, no one is holy, we all fall for these sins. It is human nature. Romans 7:15-20 Is there a way to truly overcome it? I can;t say.

Sadly, there are pastors who publicly ridicule and speak disparagingly about their fellow ministers who are in error, forgetting that all humans are fallible.
Hence, we expose the Body of Christ to a whole series of attacks, ridicule, and vituperation from unbelievers through our unwise disposition towards Men of God.
However, much as I denounce the idea of spreading the news of the downfall/errors of ministers of God, I wouldn’t take sides with them on the atrocities they have committed. Bishop Oyedepo once stated that, ‘‘Sin is sin no matter who is sinning.’‘ I support this truth.
Nonetheless, it is tomfoolery to assume that God’s servants are infallible. The reason why many of us are taken by surprise is that we expect too much from them.
Listen, no man is infallible! Samson fell, Saul fell, Judas fell, even Peter would have fallen beyond restoration if not for the grace of God. May God keep us from falling till the end.
Love does not take delight in sharing evil but rejoices at the truth (1 Cor 13:6). Love protects! So, protect the ministries of other believers. Do not expose them to danger and assaults.
Therefore, walk in love. If we walk in love, the restoration of those who seemed to have fallen will be of concern to us, rather than their total fall or destruction.
Let’s follow this priceless injunction of the Scriptures in Galatians 6:1, which says;
”Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such as one in the spirit of meekness, considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.”
Speak to them and if you cannot speak to them, pray for them. Let the restoration of every fallen minister be paramount to you and not their destruction.

It's ignorant to claim Buhari is unfettered by the ongoing Endsars protest.
He has called the IG to take necessary actions. SARS has been disbanded. Even though it is not yet convincing. He has inaugurated Judicial panel to deal with reported cases of Police brutality.
However this cannot be done without giving the criminal SARS officers a fair hearing which takes time.
Also the EndSars protest goes beyond the Police brutality. It is a culmination of the years of frustration of the youths as a result of the indiscriminate impunity and heartlessness of this government. Some of which are short term demands, some medium and some long term demands.
What the govt needs now is an action that will win the confidence and trust of the youths viz; Immediate justice to the victims of police brutality. Slashing of the salary of politicians (including but not limited to the president, governors and senators and reps). Promise of good governance in a space of time (say 1 year) after which failure to meet up will aggravate another protest.
So far the govt has claimed that Operation Crocodile Smile which begins today is not targeted at the protesters but a yearly operation. As Seun Kuti rightly said, their actions from today will determine if the govt is lying on not.

Yet after all this his end was not glorious. God had to curse him by turning his family against each other. He ended up dying sorrowfully and his family and kingdom was turned against one another. God simply kept his promise by making Jesus come through his lineage.

psucc: It matters a lot. Reason: So many churches are reserviour for hell fire. Though they still shout Jesus, their Jesus maybe different from the one you innocently know. Their teachings and practices are at variance with biblical truth.

Nobody notices the anger in your heart. Nobody saw your motive for preaching on the street(you want tell people you're a Christian). Nobody saw your motive for praying loud at night (to tell the neighbours something, PRIDE). Nobody saw your motive for singing that hymn when you and your spouse are having a disagreement...No one except GOD!
No wonder Jesus eradicated the law and prophet and place it all on LOVE. If you love God and people, you won't criticize them for being sinners. You will forgive their errors and wrongs. That's not their sentence. They want out. But you saw it as an avenue to make them feel horrible. That's hypocritical. That's not LOVE.
Most of these folks are like Jonah, they are ladikal plophets but don't want anyone else saved. They always want to judge others.
