This is half true.
The other half is that most Nigerian girls also believe it is the solely the man's responsibility to be the provider.

Once we get this part right, Nigerian women can be the world in the world.
The only issue with age is when the wife is older than the man, it's usually quite difficult for her to submit to him.
Because that thing called submission is so important in a good marriage.
Submission is not slavery but respecting who has the final say.

As believers, they both should both submits to Christ and the wife submits to the man.
This clearly does not work for unbelievers.

The issue is not him hosting them, the issue is whether he is encouraging it or discouraging it.

I believe God will do what He can to save those that can be saved.

Good day, fellas. The year is gradually coming to an end. So, what have you achieved?

I achieved Christ.
Along with him came Redemption, Peace of Mind, Divine Wisdom, New Life, Restoration, Faith over Fear, Love, Project Management Certification, Excellent Health, Family reconciliations, Friends old and new, Separation from toxic relationships, and usefulness for God's use/work online and offline, many other testimonies, some I'm simply patiently waiting to manifest.

I can only imagine if I had done this year without Christ.
I feel so Blessed and Lucky and Favored.

And thanks to Nairaland too for the opportunity to learn and share and grow together.
God bless us all.

There are 2 reactions to this sorta situation;
1. It could be designed to help you grow.
Are you learning any skills?
Are you growing in godliness or ungodliness?
Are you growing in people skills?

2. It could be a slave job keeping you because of your fears.
Are you there just because of the money?
Are you there because you think you have no other option?
You might just be an entrepreneur who is not meant to be in a 9-5 job.

Above all, be at peace with God, you will experience mental stability and a better clarity of what to do.
God himself will orchestrate things in your favor.

It's all about interests. Nigeria is globally well-positioned and recognized as a force to reckon with as far as the success of Africa and invariably the world at large is concerned.

Good questions. I like people who ask good questions, and not just those who complain all day with nothing new.
All these are very valid questions. And time as always, reveals all.
His policies shows that this administration is not about cosmetic achievements to "hoodwink" the people. He is diving to the root-cause and correcting the problems from the bottom up.

This is the problem with our generation, you don't respect those ahead of you, especially those who excelled and performed well where you have never performed. Until you step in someone's shoes you'll never know where it hurts. Until you wear the crown you'll never know how uneasy lies the head.
Until you enter the pitch you'll always think you're the best coach/player/umpire.

What's wrong in Yahaya Bello recommending and helping Kogi State secure a governor who will succeed him and continue in his good works?

What's wrong in the said governor giving honor to his helper?
If he does perform well and hopefully better than his helper/predecessor is it not a win-win for the state, the people and both of them and may be even Nigeria?

The problem is that we have gotten so used to bad successors and now we suspect every succession plan, especially under the aegis of the unpopular APC.

But I believe this will favor the state as Yahaya Bello has a good testimony from his people and his works speak for him. And no one is perfect, except God.

It's always through processes and he will have to undergo that process to complete rid itself off it.

If you believe this, you can literally believe that Tinubu isn't a drug dealer.

Before making it public he must have been submitting to the process privately.
In fact if you understand the process of quitting any strong habit, a public renouncement is very imoortant and significant.

It's however quite unfortunate that so many have lost their lives to drugs/substance abuse by following in his footsteps.
Life can be funny, he may end up surviving it but millions who copied him didn't and some still won't.

I believe this is however major. Hopefully this will like wise encourage many to quit ASAP and not wait till they're old or it has destroyed their lives before making the decision to live a clean life.

God help us all especially our youths.

It is already sold out in just 2 days. Meaning it is n huge demand, for now it is promoting itself. If it delivers well and proves efficient for Nigerian roads, the demands will certainly shoot up even more. Unfortunately for customers the price will invariably shoot up too. We need more competition in our local automobile industry. It's going to be so profitable.

I remember as a kid I had a serious longing to learn mechanical engineering wven if it was with our local mechanics but some how ended up studying Physics (theory only). It's good to know and follow our strong nudges.

Its not even about material possession, (which is a part of the blessings) its about a RELATIONSHIP.

There's none.

We pray in our head, and believe in our head...act with same mindset.
We are not experiencing the Biblical God.
Seems we are the ones psyching ourselves with religion of all sorts.

The summary of it all is to follow Jesus Christ and he'll make you a Fisher of men.

We tend to follow men of God which is not bad but we should only follow them as they follow Christ (the Word of God).

Jesus Christ is the one who came to die to save, redeem and restore us all into the glory of God, not the men of God. He only uses men like you and I including the men of God as ministers (vessesl) to guide and teach others to follow Him. Besides not all men of God follow Jesus Christ especially in this last days as prophecied there are more wolves in sheep's clothing and anti-Christs and false teachers/prophets.

Seek first the kingdom of God andcHis righteousness, all your needs will be added.
Trust the LORD with all your heart lean not on your own understanding. Acknowledge him in all your ways and He will direct your paths.
Do not be wise in your own eyes. Fear the LORD and depart from evil.

You will begin to see God in all you do, not only "pysching" yourself, you will experience the reality of His Presence and Power.
Don't define/dictate for God how you want Him to operate in your life, just submit to His Word andHis Holy Spirit.

What's the goal of it all?

John.3.16 - For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

John.17.3 - And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.

You will love God will all your heart and soul and spirit and strength and love your neighbour as yourself.

I pray for God's Grace and Mercy and Favor for you, that you will encounter the True God and He will make you know him and you will be known by Him in Jesus name.

God compared himself to our Earthly father...let him come thru for us.

We're tired of different Bible explanations and exegesis.
The clearer teachings/understanding has not resulted in better fellowship or any closer bond or more power/manifestation.

We just go to church, catch fire for the day...and then back to where we were.

I'm just tired of a non-responsive relationship with this Christian God.

Stop looking for shortcuts to God's blessings and you'll be fine.

Marriage is an Institution but na only few understand that terminology.

Marriage like every major decision in life is based on planning, preparation and conviction/faith.

You'll know when you're ready to marry even if all the fiance you need isn't available. Finance is one of the KPIs but the Faith/Conviction is the most important aspect.
