In Christianity cleanliness is not next to godliness. Since Jesus accused the Pharisee and Saducess of maintaining an outward cleanliness whereas their heart was filthy.
Likewise Jesus instructed his disciples to be ready to clean the fear of others otherwise they can't have a part in him. Washing of someone's feet was one of the dirtiest tasks for slaves then.

However in Islam cleanliness is truly next to godliness. Which is why Mohammed commands it in a lot of their practices.

I fell sick six months ago and almost died. I was taken to some places but got worst. So later I was taken to church where they did deliverance for me. Then I got better. I didn't get better totally but gradually. Till date I still experience the sickness but not like before.

But I remembered when I was still very sick, my sister told me a pastor explained to her that the attack is coming from a guy who is angry with me and I have to make amends. I didn't really bother about it since I was getting better.

I broke up with my ex around last year when we quarreled. When I found out he is a cultist. I told him never to call me anymore. We were planning to get married next year but when I found out he is a cultist I ended it and it caused a lot of confusion btw our families but at the end they respected my decision and we part ways. Weeks later he called me and said he was really hurt bla bla...

Fast forward to when I was sick. I discovered when I was sick and recovering... I dream about him a lot even without thinking about him but I didn't take it as anything.

Then recently I decided to go to MFM church for a week deliverance to be totally free from this affliction... I fasted for a week and prayed but on the last day, the prayer was about spirit husband and behold I fell and started screaming "No No"... I was rolling up and down scattering everything.. A lot of pastors came to my side praying but I was still screaming" no no" "she belongs to me".

Then when I came back to my senses "the pastor called me and told me I still need much fasting and deliverance session because there must have been a strong covenant for him to say no" . Then he asked me about my past lifestyle. I told him I was worldly then and the only boyfriend I had that lasted long I broke up with him. Then he started praying for me and telling me to say I break every covenant with that guy and behold I was feeling very uncomfortable and shaking then I stopped.

.. After that he prayed for me and told me when the church reopens I should come back for the deliverance cuz the church is currently locked because of the corona issue.....

When I went back home I decided to pray about this guy again but I was still feeling very uncomfortable like I was going to faint then I stopped but then I began to recall everything about my ex.. I could remember he told me we should have a covenant then but I refused ... Then he told me to promise him I won't ever leave him.. I did and he also promised and that was all. Again I remembered he called when I was very sick, he greeted me fine and asked if the sickness caused some spots on my body I said no and then the day the pastor told me to pray about breaking covenant with him, my ex called me that very day to ask me how am doing.

But now am really confused right now. Have prayed about witches and wizards to leave me alone but still am not totally free and now am beginning to think towards my ex direction...

Could he be responsible for this and what about the spirit husband stuff cuz during the time I was sick I dreamt about someone having sex with me and me breastfeeding a baby in the dream.

And when the pastor called me again he said he saw a stretch on my life and he doesn't know where it is coming from that I really need to pray and gave me some prayer books.

Then I called the pastor my sister went to and asked him. He told me the attack is coming from a guy that he is very angry and because a covenant was made and I need to make amends cuz I was ungrateful to him. I was totally confused.

Am so confused and tired of everything right now how is my ex anyway connected to spirit husband.

It's Nollywood that is after your life.
You don't hear such crap in other climes.

Christianity has thousands of denominations and sects each almost having a different teaching, doctrine and way of interpreting the Bible and how they view what is contained in it.

The belief that their is a superman in the sky who created the universe is the only thing they all agreed with.


Put 10 different denominations in a room and tell them to discuss religion, Christianity, Bible doctrines they would end up arguing.

And they wonder why atheist argue or question their belief.

Even in the same denomination you'll be surprised how they don't agree on the same thing, talkless of inter-denominations.

I saw a lot of your posts during the pandemic claiming Jesus is coming.
Don't you feel stupid now that the pandemic has wanrd down and Jesus still didn't come?

It is stupid of you to still believe after over 2000 years that Jesus is still coming.

If there's anything that history teaches is, it is that Time always tells the truth. Time has proven that the bible's claim that Jesus is coming is just another religious claim that has been proven to be false.

So many have sold their properties and became scared into believing in rapture only to realise it is all false claims.

I actually don't have any problem with the church, pastor or any member.
It's just that my heart is no longer in the church, as in, I am just forcing myself to attend it's Sunday services and because of the fact that my heart is not there, I don't enjoy the services unlike before.

Few tips on why I lost interest:
1. The church is too close to my house
2. The environment is quite not presentable
3. It's more of a family church,
4. The way his son( the junior pastor runs the church as if it's his personal business, too authoritative).
Honestly, I totally fell out of love with the church and I wish to change.

If heaven and hell were real, I believe God would have revealed it to our traditionalists and other religions.

By the time the last Apostle died there was nothing like miracles or signs of any kind again, the purpose has been met, the whole message and visions has been completed and the last Bible book Revelations has been completed (sealed) Revelation 22:18-21

So whoever wants to worship the God of Israel no more needed any miracles but believe in the things written about the God of Israel NOT expecting to see someone or something spectacular before trusting in God's word {John 20:29} true believers today only need to trust the message in the Bible that was brought to them by his well organized and orderly people! John 17:20 compare to Romans 10:13-15

The signs aren't for Jews alone because Jesus healed several Gentiles- the Samaritan wonan, Roman Centurion's servant, Samaritan leper, Canaanite woman's daughter and many others.

Jews rejected- Matthew 21:23, Luke 14:15-24 (parable)
Gentiles chosen to provoke jealousy in the Jews so that they will turn to him. Roman's 11:7-11

God's people experienced miracles but not all the time!

There are reasons for miracles, God doesn't need to prove himself before those having faith in his words, miracles are for three purposes;
(1) To help his faithful servants build confidence in his promises.
(2) To save his faithful worshipers in times of distress.
(3) To fulfil his purposes.

All these three God has displayed several times in the past so faithful servants don't need miracles anymore to believe (trust) him. So instead of expecting miracles they are prepared to die for their faith! Daniel 3:16-18

The period a miracle occur may take 200-300 years interval before another, it's when Jesus came that miracles occurred incessantly because as the King of God's Kingdom the Messiah must be identified by mighty works.
John was the last prophet before Jesus, even with all the regards and respect Jews had for John he never performed one single miracle! John 10:41

After Jesus' death and ascension to heaven, the holy spirit came and rested upon the Christians to show that a new covenant has just been sealed, the Jews had been expecting this for long {Joel 2:28} that's what Peter reminded faithful Jews at Pentecost! Act 2:16-17

Those signs were to help the Jews IDENTIFY the group God approved in the first century out of almost 5 rival groups in Israel.

In our time God never promised us any spectacular signs except LOVE, JOY and PEACE amongst God's people! Micah 4:1-3

That's why there is no religion having Abrahamic background that can perform any real miracles this time, all you'll see is deceit! Matthew 7:21-23

True Christians today aren't performing any miracles but there is LOVE JOY PEACE PATIENCE GOODNESS GENTLENESS FAITH MILDNESS and SELF-CONTROL in their midst! Galatians 5:22-23

Like I said before, If you are desirous of proving points and you are sure of what you are trying to do, lay down a well educated, well researched and insightful theology of your stand. What differentiated the disciples from the Jews was their belief in Jesus and the demonstration of the Power of God in their lives.

This convinced the early disciples of the their faith.

2 the life was manifested, and we have seen, and bear witness, and declare to you that eternal life which was with the Father and was manifested to us—

4 And these things we write to you that your joy may be full.

Without this it becomes like just every other religion claiming to be the only true religion.

The movie was just there - Just another Nollywoood movie glorifying rituals that adds to the same old 'Africa as a dark continent' narrative.

I think it should have ended in part one. This part two is superfluous, overhyped and not in line with the modern realities in Nigeria. In short, it's a worn narrative and Ramsey Nuoah should have had a more challenging directorial debut than 'Living in Bondage 2'. He just rode on the glory of the previous film. Kemi Adetiba was really robbed at AMVCA.

I watched it months ago and I can't even remember anything memorable about the action, it was that bland.

Honestly, I kept waiting for the interesting part right up until the movie ended.
Considering the reviews I had read, it was an anti-climax.
Though the cinematography was impressive.
