PoliticsRe: The Hypocrisy Of Omojuwa In Pictures. by Myer(m): 9:12am On Sep 24, 2023
jmoore:
Hypocrisy is an understatement.

He's a FOOL. Shameless fool.

The fool said every Nigerian is excited that Tinubu rang a bell. He thinks all Nigerians are lowlives that support drug trafficking 'first class' graduate that is preventing access to his academic records.

This is what happens when Omojuwo and co are bankrolled by Tinubu/Buhari. You have to play the role of a fool to defend Tinubu.

Modified: I just noticed some ignorant babablu supporters trying to shift goal post by saying that NYSE is not the same as NASDAQ

NYSE is a bigger market than NASDAQ. NYSE has an equity market capitalization of 25 trillion dollars as of July 2023. It is the biggest exchange in the world.

Jonathan rang the bell at the biggest market NYSE which Omojuwa criticised, but praised Tinubu for ringing bell at NASDAQ.

You have to be wonderfully dumb to still defend Omojuwa on this.
He's inexcusable.
But what seems like hypocrisy is simple; regardless of not liking Jonathan, his good works and achievements should have been applauded.

Receiving the invitation to ring the bell of NYSE and NASDAQ are both applaudable.

PoliticsCSU: Why We Applied For Delay In US Court Order by Myer(op): 8:13pm On Sep 23, 2023
Why We Applied For A Delay In US Court Order Till Monday, 24 ~ Tinubu's Lawyers

We are not against the release of the academic documents to Atiku Abubakar, but we applied for delay in the release of the records to Atiku till Monday, 24 September just to correct the lies Atiku decieved the US court with by claiming that he wanted to use the documents as evidence in the election petition tribunal ongoing in Nigeria, when in actual fact, he did not file any suit on Tinubu's academic records in all his petitions in Nigeria

Also, the US magistrate lacks the power to order the. University to release student record but can only recommend to a district judge. These are the anomalies that we wished to be corrected

However, the US district judge, which heard the delay appeal on Thursday night, has agreed to our plead and adjourn judgment to Thursday next week.

Meanwhile, all the non-priviledge documents, the Admission Letter to CSU, the Acceptance Letter, Transcript for all the semesters, the certificate of graduation, which Atiku is seeking for were brought before the court by Chicago State University administrators, and already in public domain, so there is absolutely nothing to hide aside that Atiku merely wants to play dirty on social media with the suit.

Tinubu's supporters are majorly intellectuals who are also wise. We know we cannot conclude on a matter just by emotions but thorough investigation. If you've ever been a victim of mistaken identity, you will understand this better.

Until the established authorities carry out their investigation and provide their expert judgment, we do not make ourselves judge on such matters.

Reference:
Oga, the government can achieve 'collectivism' through superior ideas or press through wonky ideas through superior arguments. You and I did some debating in grade school. We did not sit down and appeal for the other side to cooperate with us to win the contest.

Why is it that politics in Nigeria CANNOT ACCOMMODATE ALTERNATIVE IDEAS AND THRASH THEM OUT THROUGH DEBATE.
Why are we so feudal in nature to see the word of the 'King' as law always.
Democracy is structured so that all sides of a matter can be assessed for many reasons.

1. So that that government is always taking the best decision. Even your holy books say so, and I quote, 'In an abundance of counselors, there is wisdom'. No single person knows it all. The fate of a country is not best served intellectually or other wise by the wisdom of a single person or a few people, but by the collective wisdom of all citizens, the legislators represent.

2. So that government protects or accommodates the interest of the vast majority of people. And this is critical in running a successful government. By supplying gas and air to all the pistons, the engine runs fine, friction and constant agitation is dampened. When matters are debated and won by superior reasoning all parties leave satisfied, the victors are humble and the losers are not dejected. For no two people blinded by sentiment can describe an elephant adequately by touch. They need to SEE. Debate opens eyes, opens minds. It brings the citizens (NLC and all) to the reality of the situation of their country, thus making governance easy.

I can go on and on. But the facts are clear.
We are not serving ourselves right when we cannot sit down and reason together. When we want the views of only a select few to count.
It resulted in a disastrous government just ended and yet we want to start another autocratic journey, haba.

The only place where politics mixes with governance is in a dynamic legislature. It is where for instance those who wanted to save and cut expenditure as a capitalist ideology will have clashed with those who wanted to borrow and spend on socialist programs last government.

If the Lawan 9th Assembly had permitted robust debates we will probably have met somewhere in the middle, perhaps far lower debts, less subsidy and smaller government... whatever, but surely not as bad as it is today and most of all Nigerians will have been onboard and satisfied government did its best.
Well said.
What you explained here is what is unfurling.
Give it time, we will all live to see it manifesting by God's Grace.

And then ...
What transpired is the Executiive/FG (VP Shetimma) appealing to Legislature (Senators and Reps, upper and lower chambers respectively) to set aside partisan politics and work together collectively to achieve the Prosperity of Nigeria.

I took my time to explain this because ignorance is easily cured/solved by actually taking your time to either study personally or learn from those who actially study.

If your have the requisite knowledge on a matter, that's when you can decide what is right or wrong and also have good judgement on how to proffer the needed solution or acknowledge those who do.

I hope this helps you realise how important education is. So that you won't continue to prove the whiltes right, who have posited that to hide a thing from a black man, keep it inside a book. Good luck to you.

There are 3 Arms of Government.

1. The Executive (President, Governors, deputie, ministers, etc)
2. The Judiciary (Judges, Lawyers) and
3. The Legislature (Senators and House of Reps members)

All three have Federal, State and Local constituencies and jurisdiction (authority).

According to him, my friends and colleagues, let us not make the mistake of thinking that our problem is APC or PDP or LP or SDP or any other party. That is an error.

“We face a collective action problem because relevant groups and stakeholders in our country fail to connect, cooperate and collaborate.

“But if we, the leadership of the Tenth National Assembly, can properly understand and effectively use collective action processes in the official conduct of business, we would achieve positive outcomes for our country’

“We can lead the charge in our country. Let us be united in purpose. It does not matter which political party you used to get to the Red or Green Chamber, right now we are in the Nigerian boat. If we all put our hands on deck, the Tenth Assembly shall surmount every challenge” Akpabio pointed out

While noting that the retreat would identify priority business for the Tenth National Assembly and develop strategic objectives for the Legislative Agenda of the respective chambers, Akpabio said it behooves the leadership of the 10th National Assembly to “set collective action templates for our nation’s developmental efforts and a collaborative legislative agenda for solving our nation’s challenges.

The Speaker, House of Representatives, Tajudeem Abbas expressed delight for the retreat, saying that it would create an opportunity for the legislators to contribute immensely to the attainment of the 8-point Agenda of President, Bola Tinubu.

Abbas urged his colleagues in both chambers to think first of the national development of the nation, emphasizing that all three arms of government must be in symphony to ensure that the current administration delivers on its promises to the people.
This can only be God.
I'm blessed to be alive to see the restoration of Nigeria's glory unfurling in our time.

But rest assured Economists and Financial analyst who know the implication of his policies are confident that Nigeria is now on the right path and will be better in due time. N3TRAL:
Mohbad is dead and he went to the grave on his family's approval but was brought back for autopsy due to public interest.

It is okay to mourn the early demise of the short-lived popstar but I stand with Naira Marley in all of this.

I stand with Naira Marley as a capitalist believer. Zinolesky, Mohbad, Kizz Daniel, Ayra Starr, Rema, Asake, Fireboy, Khaid are not musical stars just because they are talented. In fact, being a popular musical star has nothing to do with knowing how to sing or one's dexterity with musical instruments.

They're musical stars because someone took a loan from the bank or lenders and invested tens of millions of Naira or even dollars to put them in your faces until you accept them as stars by force. Everyone blames the record label bosses because they're not the main actors who perform on stage.

An idea is worth nothing without the resources to amplify it. In tech, angel investors and venture capitalists take the lion's share leaving founders with the bulk of the burden. In sports, agents like Mendes take their big cut. If it was easy, Mbappe would just wake up and leave PSG for Madrid. Why is it always different in the music business?

Defend the deceased as much as you like but the fact remains that nobody on the face of the earth forced him to sign the deal with Marlian records. When you sign an agreement, fortunately, one that brings fame and money to you, the least you can do is honour it.

If Loan Apps in Nigeria, like Palmpay, that have foreign investors and major corporate personnel have resorted to blackmailing the families of loan defaulters and even crashing events to disgrace and arrest their debtors what do you think street boys who hustled all their lives will do if a fellow ghetto nobody they lifted out of poverty plays ping pong with their millions worth of investment?

I unequivocally condemn the mode of debt recovery above as I only used that real-life scenario to point out the fact that Mohbad was Naira Marley's debtor until he died. The Courtroom or Arbitration house remains the best destination for dispute settlement.

However it must be stated that Mohbad's tragedy and Naira Marley's cancellation is like a loan app debtor committing suicide because the loan sharks blackmailed him to his family, friends, and colleagues. Naira Marley is simply that loan shark whose chronic debtor is involved in a fatal accident while trying to avoid the loan shark's constant harassment. Nobody blames the dead debtor but everyone blames the loan shark who had once given the debtor money and hope even though the debtor failed to keep his own part of the bargain.

My thoughts and prayers are with his family in their period of grief. I genuinely mourn Mohbad but refuse to join the herd to link his death to Naira Marley.
This was well articulated.
Consequence of making a deal with the devil.

NM may be innocent but remains a prime suspect just as well as the father, wife, Sam Larry, hospital and last contacts.

You have to redefine the image the scar gave you.
It makes you macho-looking now,

Relationship between Parents especially Fathers and Sons is so significant and spiritual that the devil fights it with every thing he has.
Most fathers who should know this and be sensitive about it are unfortunately ignorant of it.

My elder brother and dad are arch-enemies till date because of a similar experience like yours and worse still, changing the course of his academic life out of fear and disconnecting him spirit and body. Man is here in Nigeria but his spirit is abroad.
Even I put in extra effort to manage my relationship with him.

It is quite unfortunate to have insensitive and worse still self-righteous parents.

But the good news is that God is helping to reveal most of these marital and parental mysteries to the Body of Christ and those who are perceptive. This is a good time to apply yourself to succeed where your parents may have faltered.
It is a spiritual warfare that you have to commit to God's hands.
Be intentional to live a life worthy of God's mercy.

Your parents just like you and I, never really had a manual to life or mentors. This is why you should forgive your dad.
God bless and heal your home.

Some full grown adults have made the choice to be racist. You do not need to dig into the crevices of your asses to find them an excuse. Japan is a place that even white folks sometimes talk about the racism they've experience. Must be the TV's fault, or the water. Blah blah
Racism/tribalism is inevitable.
If Black Americans can be racist towards Africans, South Africans towards Nigerians, Igbos towards Yorubas and Hausas, and vice versa then pray tell, why should a Japanese not be racist towards a Nigerian?

But it will be foolish to assume every one is racist/tribalistic or a victim of racism/tribalism.

What some have shared here is simple, perhaps they have not been victims of racism because they carty themselves in a way that has earned them respect because they do not dress like thugs or "move mad" like some victims of racism do.

Your comments so far only depict you as a very myopic, emotional and juvenile person attacking everyone who shares a different opinion from yours.
