By supplying gas and air to all the pistons, the engine runs fine, friction and constant agitation is dampened. When matters are debated and won by superior reasoning all parties leave satisfied, the victors are humble and the losers are not dejected. For no two people blinded by sentiment can describe an elephant adequately by touch. They need to SEE. Debate opens eyes, opens minds. It brings the citizens (NLC and all) to the reality of the situation of their country, thus making governance easy.

I can go on and on. But the facts are clear.
We are not serving ourselves right when we cannot sit down and reason together. When we want the views of only a select few to count.
It resulted in a disastrous government just ended and yet we want to start another autocratic journey, haba.

The only place where politics mixes with governance is in a dynamic legislature. It is where for instance those who wanted to save and cut expenditure as a capitalist ideology will have clashed with those who wanted to borrow and spend on socialist programs last government.
