superlanny: Whatever fumes that dude is inhaling all because of groundnut is dangerous, later he will blame village people when his organs collapse due to constant groundnut acid frying. Lol Atleast he should wound himself instead of unsuspecting innocent folks. People are quite heartless now a days. I had to stop buying akara, chin chin and other fried stuff you get at the roadside, why? I told my aboki sometime last year to get me akara. Guess what? He, as my paddy advised me against it, that even he does not buy again. Haba, watin happen? He told me in confidence that they no longer use cooking oil but transformer oil. That it testes similar but way cheaper. Certainly, there is no way transformer oil will be healthy for human consumption on the long run. |

Shey na Peter Obituary's daughter wey dey hide for Pandora he for apoint?
His son Seyi Tinubu will play a major role in the incoming government. The son was everywhere with him throughout the campaign, so he deserve to reap the fruit of his labour. Unlike Atikulation and Obituary's children that are hiding from the masses. So you genuinely wish for kids of politicians to be involved in the affairs of state to enable them "rip the fruits of labour". Ie our collective fruits as Nigerians. Obi's and Atiku kids have careers. They are well brought up kids that work. Obi's daughter is said to be a teacher, and the son, an aspiring actor, screen writer. Atiku, I know one of his daughters works at cbn, a regular salaried staff. Bottomline, all are finding their ways in the world. Nothing bad in that. Well, if you feel the incomming president should govern that way, and don't consider it nepotism, fair enough, seyi is kukuma educated. He should be qualified too, and from what I hear, he is no tribalist like most folks on this forum. |

Abu, unilag, lasu, unn, babcock, convent etc no de there? Anyway fgn should do the needful. No Nigerian should be stranded in a war zone. |

Luther0luther: At least, they invested the money in Nigeria. What will you say about the ones that went abroad, bought properties, locked them up and came back to Nigeria?
I hope you can catch my drift Your drift is legit. The issue is that those properties they buy abroad are usually rented out and generate income. The Koko is, do they bring the income to naija or spend it over there. Most of those Abuja and Lagos estates they invest laundered money, might not be productive. Fine they employ people to construct, supply materials etc. After that nothing else. Maybe if they use the illicit monies to set up factories, businesses, in a "kleg way" it will be beneficial to the economy. |

It's just like keeping goats to guard your store of yams, like employing mosquitoes to guard your blood being sucked from under your skin. Can you have a store of bananas and employ monkeys to protect them.

Abeg this man should do and go jare I was just doing a costing and felt depressed with how poor this man has made Nigerians. 2015 I used to charge 60k for a service I provide. That 60k gave me an equivalent of roughly $450. Less running cost of diesel, fuel and other expenses. Today I charge 150k, it gives me roughly $200. Cost of diesel is 800 per liter, fuel 190. Increase running cost. To get value I use to earn 2015, I need to charge 375k minimum, but who will pay? How does one replace equipment that is imported? Abeg, this man should just go. Hopefully the incoming gov will be better. |

Op, better go to the police if you feel something is out of place rather than come to social media to make unsubstantiated claims against her employer. You can get is big trouble for that. May the soul of the deceased rest in peace. And the fortitude to bear the loss to her family. |

doctokwus: I pity her boss. The reason why the brother would just conclude that her boss has anything to do with her death baffles me. You have not exhausted all avenues of going about such case, especially reporting to the police who have the statutory authority to handle such cases and make arrests if warranted, after investigation, you rush to the social media and start accusing someone that may likely be innocent, because she died at her place of employment! So the boss should track everywhere she goes and take care of her health, even if she wasn't sick previously.Even if she was,is it her responsibility to take care of her health. She may have collapsed and died from underlying health issues or even arising from where she went to,but the boss is the easy folder to pick and of course having many gullible people on social media, the brother knows many people would have already condemned and passed judgement on the boss before using their commonsense. If the truth eventually comes out,the reputation and business of the innocent lady may have been ruined for life. When people like the deceased brother that falsely accused the boss start having problems in future, they will start attributing it to village forces, not knowing is the karmaic effect of the life and business they destroyed years past through their hasty post and actions. Well said. |

Politics › Re: YORUBA FOR JOBS: Seyi Law Expresses Anger Over Brewing Protest by nedekid: 12:17pm On Apr 21, 2023 |
FreeStuffsNG: Hmmm. This is very serious and the Yoruba states must listen to them. This is the fallout of the most toxic form of divisive tribal/religious campaign by the online mob of Mr Obi.
I respect their view and I hold a different opinion I know that most Yoruba hawks do not want to hear or accept because they want the Igbo out and sent back to their land after the manner the Igbo hated, mocked and disrespected the Yoruba during the 2023 elections.
In my opinion, the SW states must collaborate by reciprocity. Your state of origin must have given same opportunity to Yoruba in their land before you can get any opportunity in Yorubaland.
Southwest states must give jobs , land cofo, political apoointments, admission, contracts etc to ONLY indigenes of states that have given same opportunities to the Yoruba living in their land.
Our resources and opportunitie in the SW are finite and the more others come in and are given, the more the Yoruba may likely resent such a system.
Only those states that can collaborate with us by reciprocity genuinely desire our progress.
If we do not do something fast about our all comers approach to opportunities in Lagos and SW, there will be a more serious violent form of this current problem in the future.
States are subnational level of govt and their 1st priority is to their own people.States are not for all comers. It then means if you now want to give opportunities to Igbo, you need to give only to indigenes of SE states giving your indigenes and the Yoruba living on their land same opportunities. That is a sustainable way unless we want xenophobia in Yorubaland.
Since 1999, no single Igbo states has given a job to Yoruba whereas a state like Kaduna has done so. We should collaborate by reciprocation with Kaduna by giving their indigenes jobs over indigenes of a SE state for justice, equity and fair play.
Igbo should not cheat Yoruba and Yoruba should not cheat Igbo. Imagine this charlatan applied to seun to be a mod of this forum.
