Spydder880, could you please get us some fresh photos of Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium Enugu, Old Temporary Stadium and perhaps where Rangers International use to camp at Agwu? I am looking forward to exploring sports development in Enugu State soon.

Mr Everest: Owerri Modotels looks more gorgeous than that of Enugu, it's actually the tallest building in Owerri standing on eight floors though I heard he just sold it off. Kudos to Ide Aguata, Alex Ekwueme.
There are the same design , but the one at Owerri is more strategically located . Besides , Enugu Modotels lost its swagger long time ago due to competition .

Rossikk: My brother, if you know how angry I get when I see them building that nonsense they call road, with open gutter on the side, you wouldn't believe it. It's as if they're saying if you don't have a car, you're not a human being or a Nigerian.
Often i wonder why Nigerians are not dominating in Olympic long jumps competition . Nigerians are world champions in jumping over filthy gutters scattered across the country. It does no good to our image having such in our cities .

Ekwueme's signature Modotels use to be a cool popular spot for Amebo's of Nigeria 80s/early 90s.

Union Bank building was constructed by JIMBAZ Nig Ltd . I think FGN Okoye or Joe Nwankwu &Bros did the CCB one. Due to neglect , the Union Bank office has lost it's lovely look . The building needs fresh painting . ACB's need total renovation ....

It's a wacko country ! She wann hide inside pot? Hilarious country, that is! When you think fun is over, Nigerian officials can keep one laughing all night-long .

nagoma: But you know the reasons for that extra attention at the airport- not so? They are helping the NDLEA.
Really ? Like it's a Gaza-Strip treatment for Ndigbo? Nigeria is a big political theatre with seemingly unending scenario . So , they leave illegal immigrants all over the country and concentrate rather on molesting Igbos at Murtala? Disgusting ....

BeraBera: Oh yeah, the party would still hold. Thousands of Immigration officers whose lives she touched are already appreciating her and would continue to do so
You are truly testifying ....
. U are very wrong and mischievous. For ur info, afta d tribalistic recruitment dat led to her early retirement, d total list of all Immigration officers in Nigeria was published. To my greatest suprise, Imo has more number of officers dan Kano and Lagos! Imagine dat!!!!!!!! Find out facts b4 u post misleading garbage here pls!!!
Omo Eko, the 95% i alluded to is for the airport in Lagos , Murtala International. Go find out there . That's where the money is.
PoliticsRe: Comptroller General Of Immigration Service Sacked by Nightshift(m): 8:31pm On Jan 15, 2013
Since when does " had been dropped in national interest " become a normal way of attaining retirement ? Retirement is like a party with goodwill flowers from co-workers and some fine wine. It's on record that she got sacked .
PoliticsRe: Comptroller General Of Immigration Service Sacked by Nightshift(m): 7:50pm On Jan 15, 2013
IYA NGBALI: and almost all the qualified people came from her geographical zone abi?abeg waka pass jor
So she was trying to balance things there by employing more Igbos ? You are now telling us why she got sacked .
PoliticsRe: Comptroller General Of Immigration Service Sacked by Nightshift(m): 7:20pm On Jan 15, 2013
dayokanu: Conspiracy is the placebo of the intellectually lazy

So her tribe was the reason she was sacked? mumunatu
Totally not, but as an undeniable factor influencing the decision .
PoliticsRe: Comptroller General Of Immigration Service Sacked by Nightshift(m): 7:15pm On Jan 15, 2013
dayokanu: Barth Nnaji sacked : They hate us

Soludo in EFCC net : they hate us

Immigration woman sacked : They hate us

Would some people ever get over this victim mentality?
If you believe that ethnic prejudice does not influence political appointments in Nigeria , then you must be living in the Arctic !
PoliticsRe: Comptroller General Of Immigration Service Sacked by Nightshift(m): 7:09pm On Jan 15, 2013
Eko Ile: You are ignorant regarding this topic. Period.
An Igbo woman is sacked and ethnic bigots clapping their hand here. Shame on peoples whom what matters in Nigeria civil services are ethnic/religious origin. At Murtala, 95% of immigration officials are often Northern or Yorubas. I hate seeing them harassing Igbos often at the Airport. All they do is look for Igbo name on your passport and questioning start. I have had hassles with some on two occasions .
PoliticsRe: Comptroller General Of Immigration Service Sacked by Nightshift(m): 6:15pm On Jan 15, 2013
Eko Ile: Ignorance is a dangerous disease. Instead of feeling insulted, say thanks for the free education and understanding the poster gave you. Next time, research or educate yourself first before insulting people's intelligence with ignorance and backward talk.
I am not ignorant about how the system is often twisted in Nigeria . Perhaps you, Omo Eko?
PoliticsRe: Comptroller General Of Immigration Service Sacked by Nightshift(m): 5:53pm On Jan 15, 2013
wesley80: Quit being an airhead, that recruitment process was a farce as places were sold weeks in advance while thousands of ordinary Nigerians were made to waste their resources battling for non existent positions. As far as I'm concerned, its good riddance.
So you have the facts ? You don't have to insult someone before writing your facts . Not a bright way of making points .
FamilyRe: What Do You Say When Someone Sneezes Around You: "Bless You"?? by Nightshift(m): 5:36pm On Jan 15, 2013
I have been saying and receiving ' Gesundheit ' from folks i don't even know for years over here. In Igbo, we say ' Ndu gi' in my area in Coal City state.
CelebritiesRe: Notorious Big's Daughter Honours Him With Tattoos(photos) by Nightshift(m): 5:26pm On Jan 15, 2013
She can do anything in memory of her father, BIG could have gotten his daughter's images tattooed on his body as well. If you know what white people do in memory of Elvis , one wouldn't wish this one away from the guy who brought much flavour to Hip Hop .
PoliticsRe: Comptroller General Of Immigration Service Sacked by Nightshift(m): 5:08pm On Jan 15, 2013
She probably recruited qualified people against the hellish quota system the ethnic/religious bigots often prefer . Or was there more to the allegations from Mallam Moro?

Oahray: I only know a musical band by that name. Skunk not Sunk. Since I am not into rock metal, I did not really get the sense of your analogy.
You are still pervy for thinking of honeypots when the ish is hairy chests.
If you understand it that way, let it be. Sunk Anansie is a beautiful black skinhead British musician .

billante: Too bad! when they keep inflating project cost why wont it take 10 yrs to completes.....
is it cheaper to build roads in enugu for projects to be easily completed in without long story.....i think sam milla said enugu govt pays after the road project has been completed....how is that possible? they dont even collect mobilization money or what?
Well, i think the Fed will pay someday . Nnamani collected money for 4Corner- Agbani -Nara, which up to Afikpo is a federal road .

Oahray: Lol. Estimates that are made up on the spot. Check out my version: only 1 out of every 10guys/men I know have hairy chests.
If everybody here is against hairy anything, then let every Nigerian go Skunk Anansie way - from head to toe. I heard in Japan randy males pay extra for hairy honey-pot. Isn't that cute?
PoliticsRe: Enugu, The Pride Of The East. by Nightshift(m): 2:53pm On Jan 15, 2013
Sam Milla: You think Federal govt who has done nothing in the death trap at Lokpanta in Enugu-PH expressway will pay attention to Enugu-Abakiliki road which was motorable. That is Enugu state govt project judging by where the dualization project stopped.
My take was on the entire road till Abakaliki; i haven't been to Enugu since the new dualization works started .
PoliticsRe: Enugu, The Pride Of The East. by Nightshift(m): 2:27pm On Jan 15, 2013
billante: make una answer my question now......
That road is a federal government wahala. It may not be finished in 10 years. I heard ADB was interested in financing the road some years ago. It's one of the more important Trans-African routes - from Lagos, Onitsha, through that road you can reach Kalahari in Namibia .

It's actually recommended for those that sweat a lot once they are outside of the AC...
^^^I don't think he's 'femminine talking' as you say; he rather sounds like he's inhaled a shot of helium undecided.

I seem to remember there was a wealthy Awka man that had a construction company by the name 'Billante'......surname 'Okoli'.
That was the company former Gov. Akonobi and Babangida used in stealing old Anambra state money. The company did some poor road construction in Coal City running into highly inflated figures .

passion007: It's a place called Ajali, I think...Ajali Waterworks.
Ajali is a town in former Aguata area of the present Anambra state. Enugu state government was planning for a new waterworks after the splitting of old Anambra state . A town in either Oji-River or Ezeagu areas was chosen as the place for a new waterworks for Enugu City . I don't know what really happened . Alternatively, there are some fresh water lakes in the state that can supply Enugu enough water.

Hopefully farming communities like Oduma-Achara(they harvest the most tasty rice i've ever eating)and Ndeabor are equally benefiting from the state government on new roads.
