The only thing still missing are it's musicians.... Obe (Nkanu Enugu State) butchers association in Aba has the best Ogbangbada masquerade i've ever watched dancing. NYSC Ogbangbada oya.., it's your turn to dance !! |
Those are called Ojionu masquerade in some parts of Igboland. |
Ethnic snipers on the hunt.... |
Usually power supply does improve in Nigerian cities during Christmas until mid January when holidaymakers return. Most cities in the country has about 30-35% of it's normal population during this period. Do your survey in February, i'm sure the scenario will be different . |
Has Rochas ever lived in Italy ? He often strikes me like he learned his trade from the bosses in Palemo. He's got pure Italian mafia tactics!! |
NRI PRIEST: We don't need any Chime in Anambra. He is too slow for the dynamics of the Anambra politics. Let's see who APGA nominates first. As for Soludo and other big names they will be shocked if they remain with their respective parties. APGA has a very strong grassroot followership in Anambra.Don't complain if a Gangster wins the election. Time for Nnamdi Eriobuna to give it a shot again? Anambra needs someone with a good administrative skills; someone who can tame those wild wolfs in Awka. |
Which part of Enugu are you from?
Nkanu West |
Those are Ogbangbada masquerades! |
Hopefully someone like Mr. Sam Onunaka Mbakwe or Mr. Sullivan Iheanacho Chime will become the next governor of my sister state. We need people who can render selfless and people oriented services in Igbo states. |
John Cougar made my teenage years. I listened to his music between my Saturday morning breakfast of Akamu(with Peak milk) and fried plantain . |
Any fire service people there trying to put out the fires? Abi dem no get water as usual ?? |
Engineer96: Plz, NLs,What the hell is in your mind? |
By sending his commissioners to represent him in official functions, he gives them a sense of belonging and shows a great deal of confidence in his commissioners as well. Such reduces friction and undue backbiting between the governor and his subordinates. |
Gov. Chime is to Coal-City State what late Gov. Sam Onunaka Mbakwe was to old Imo State. Both men allow their actions speak for them. If Igboland has such selfless people like Chime and Mbakwe in the other states, we would be home and dry. |
Just for the 1%, the rest end up in project type of neighbourhoods, running from armed robbers, kidnappers and hiding inside cooking-pot from mosquitoes. |
marveouz: And may i ask how he brought shame and suffering to Millions of Africans?...continue with your propaganaBecause Mrs. Tinubu whom that square is named after, sold tens of thousands of Africans to slavery. You don't know what it means? All the peoples and families that sold Africans to slavery are evil and full of iniquity. The Tinubu's belong that category. Slavery took Africa 500 years backward.... |
OsunOriginal: Hitler can only be compared to Ojukwu who took his innocent village people to a war he knew they did have what it takes to fight thereby leading to the death of 3 million Igbos. Unfortunately you still workship him today - a man that brought death to the villagers in SE for selfish reasons. And you are happy honouring Tinubu who brought shame and suffering to millions of Africans, Oba of Lagos? |
OsunOriginal: How is that your problem? Are you Yoruba? What concerns Igbo with the naming of a round-about after a Yoruba woman by a Yoruba governor? Did we Yorubas complain? It's like Germany honouring Adolf Hitler, which is impossible in a civilized society. I am concerned because i am African. We must despise those who sold our kind to white people. Pan-Africanism is the answer my ethnic bigot. |
Bullshit!! Such a post on Christmas day? Spare us the agony please.... |
OsunOriginal: The new look of Tinubu square - courtesy of Fashola...Named after a woman who sold thousands of Yoruba people into slavery. It is a disgrace to black race honouring that woman and her family. Africans should learn history. |
If Lagos was a country, with annual GDP of about $45billion Lagos would be the 5th largest economy in Africa. Does what Mr. Fashola has done justify where Lagos is now or it's potential ? |
If i see kidnappers, i will ask 'em where my palm-wine at? But seriously, that country is going pooh portion! |
afam4eva: I really don't know Enugu like that...From Eke otuu, will you head towards union or enter the express whn going there. The best route is through the PH-Enugu expressway; if you drive on the express towards Abakaliki express, exist Maryland bypass, connect Independence layout through the street where Ekweremadu hotel is located. Between Topland Hotel juction and ESBS Tv ask anybody you see how to get to Okpara Square. It's about 1.8 to 2km from that Junction. Alternative route : exist the new Artisan market on the express, connect the fly-over bridge, take your left after 150m from the bridge. In 3 minutes you should be at Okpara Square. Kapito? |
afam4eva: I just hope that when development reached that place they won't cut all the trees. You are from Amechi Awkunanaw and you don't know where those trees sandwiched between Federal Court of Appeal and Okpara Square Enugu is located? That spot is about 10km from 'Eke Otuu', which i am sure isn't far from your compound. Seems you didn't school in Enugu? Boy, you should know your home state better than Lagos. I hope you know how to enjoy 'Okpa Awkunanaw'? |
Enyimba City must be rescued by Abia State government as well. That city used to be the envy of other South Eastern cities in the 80's. Enyimba must not die!! |
Fela Anikulapo Kuti captured it before Gallup - Suffering and Smiling ! |
I've got one of the finest Italian red wines for my visitors. Merry Christmas to people of peace !! |
Naira rumours !! |
Even the most wicked goon Idi Amin wouldn't spend such amount of money for a palace in Kampala . |
Baden-Württemberg!! |
centje: @AchiThe factory under construction belongs to Alo Aluminium Nig. Ltd. It's about 1200m from Innoson's plastic company factory. About 200m on the other side of the road(Abakaliki Express) is where Ifeanyi Uba's Tank-Farm is located. |
Wait until she begins to speak her newly learned German language. She will be hitting folks in Nigeria with Hessische dialect. That could be the Hiroshima bomb on Nigerians!! |
