87% poverty rate in your domain. Which means paltry 13% is left to be shared by the East, West and South.
Yet you guys with your born-to-rule mentality wouldn't mind voting a cow into power so long as he's a nortberner instead of someone with the capacity to better your lots.
My anger is that some who are educated also put themselves in this self delusion helping to 0subjugate the illiterate multitude with tribe and religion.
Believe me, if this country breaks today, the poor will eat the rich in the north.
Ndi born-to-rule, dalukwanu!
Harsh but so true...
I have been saying this for years, but only now have people woken up..
You are the kind of man who will get played by a woman..
This woman has basically said in her tweet, she was bleeping someone else the "fuvk boy", she doesnt respect any qualities he has.
She is only with him because he is calm, loves her and is hardworking.
In short he is her ATM and source of a good life. This is the type of useless woman who will bleep every man who takes her fancy behind her husbands back..
The OP is a woman who know this and would be damned if she lets such a woman near any of her brothers..
SultanOfPuna: Before we enjoyed this your damn niggarrr Now you are over doing it Is ur brain ok?? Are u suffering from a "damn niggarrr virus" Your case worse pass corona
I know, to be honest I never enjoyed it.. The guy is a clown
I would put it back into operation immediately. It for example was responsible for all of Nigeria's major banks being run by native Nigerians compared to other nations in Africa..
Dinirojones: now u sounding like South African ....
No there is a difference, South Africans want something for nothing and are unprepared to work.
Can you tell me that a native Nigerians be they Igbo, Yoruba or Hausa would be incapable of doing what these foreign groups are doing here?
Were it not for our foolish elites awarding foreigners inflated contracts, native Nigerians could perform these jobs with ease. How many unemployed graduates do we have looking for work.
Mtcheww our elders have failed us. Look at the new Oshodi exchange in Lagos, that was built by a native Nigerian company with local workers. Thank god whoever was in charge of that contract saw sense to hand it to a local.
Look at Alikio Dangotte at the other end of the spectrum. How many useless foreigners from Lebanese to worthless Indians have promised us refineries/power stations etc. They simply took the money awarded to them and made excuses then ran home. It took a black Native Nigerian to finish the job mtcheww..
Jaqenhghar: Oga no be today Niggerians dey allow foreigners do them anyhow. They call the Indians and Chinese master. I worked in a foreign organization. If I tell you what Niggerians do to each other to curry favour from oyinbo, you will vomit aswear
Bros I wouldnt doubt it.. These fools need to stop with this nonsense.
If I had my way, I would make them stick to the idigenes law that they need to share 50% ownership with a local. If they refuse shut their businesses and send them home..
To any fools here defending Indians you appear to have short memories. Africans in India, nevermind Nigerians are treated very badly by the local population, facing assault and some have even been killed.
Regardless of lax customs officials these individuals should be paying tax and respecting our nation. Otherwise they should be deported.
I swear some stupid Nigerians here would let any foreign group off the hook for their bad behaviour..
rabzy: Rickshaws, commonly called Keke napep are used in cities more modernized than Lagos. Paris, Berlin, Tokyo and many other places use rickshaws as a node of transport.
Stop talking crap, I have never seen a rickshaw in Paris or Tokyo. Except as a prop in a shop or indian themed restaurant...
travelwaka: In Nigeria the poverty rate and the corruption is so high that we do not even know what is right from what is wrong. Any government that really want to end corruption in Nigeria will have to do a lot of publicity to engage the people on what is right or wrong Let me give few example
I was opportune to be in a church where they were doing youth empowerment and some rich guys in the church offered grants to some business ideas, but you will need to convince the judges that your business is viable. Then bro Samson came out with his 20 pages proposal of how he knows how to bring rice cheaply from kotonou , he said he knows people that can help transport it in some remote villages off the sight of customs . He even said he knows the customs to bribe that will give him info of where and where he will pass. That at the end he will make between 6 to 10k per bag of rice which is a good investment. Then one of the judges said did you what you just said is illegal and you can get arrested for that. And bro Samson argued , then i realise he actually didnt know he just said was a crime , cos everyone does it and it has become a normal thing
Again I was in a public transport and the driver would not give this police man bribe again the passengers were the first to say oga give am now na normal thing, again i was like what Has crime become so popular that we now see it as normal
Lastly when things like this happen Nigerians will be shouting why is the government wicked, peoples investment bla bla bla , then also the custom officials would seize the rice and it willl end up in their wifes shop. I used to know at least 5 customs officials that sell rice.
If we are serious about making this country work it has to be a collective effort not the case of where the government officials and the people are sabotaging the process.
You are correct, but the rot has been going on for so long... It will not be easy to correct and would have to be done in sustained way over decades.
Not a little rule here or there..
Take Lagos banning Okadas. By the next governor the law will probably be repealed. You want to end them, you have to ban them and enforce the law consistently over many years.
At the same time you need to enforce standards like driving examinations to ensure drivers are not so reckless. At the moment, such thinking is beyond state or federal governments.
Combined with an undereducated population where a lot of folks are not taught right and wrong in the context of wider society.
Good but no matter the good done by el rufai, he will never be president. He is good only for his tribe but devastating to the nation.
No matter how rain falls, it can never wash away the spots on the Leopard's body.
The rise of another fulani man to the position of president may never happen in decades to come. The country may never recover from the last of their sons to rule in Buhari.
Richdad
Sadly I couldn't agree more. Buhari has done a disservice to his office and to his people.
No one with any sense would ever vote for a Hausa/Fulani leader ever again.
Leebeedo: My brother, it is scary. I have heard first hand experiences from people close to me and it was very scary. The last time I visited, I was scared boarding a taxi from the airport. The way the taxi drivers were acting made it worse.
You also talked bout up north and Lagos. I be oshodi boy oh, infact, I was born in mafoluku and I soji like mad, nonetheless it's scary.
Bros, Lagos is my home town, my grandfather is from Ebutte Metta. I know our people can be chaotic. But all countries have their issues.
I dont know why, but in my heart I can never give up on this place. Leaders permitting, things will improve..
Who knows, maybe one of the children of your friend, will be the one to do it. So try not to put people off..
So Jonathan couldn't provide water for just 13 local government in his state including his village for the 6 whole years he was the President?!
Same Buhari some foolish souls are cursing and abusing daily brought water to Jonathan's hometown and handed over to the State Government and yet, they could not maintain it! And they keep saying Buhari is their problem in life! Obviously, some people embezzled this 5 BILLION NAIRA!
[b]We don't want to type much on this shameful situation. We are simply short of words! It is only God that can help us in this nation. The masses are not ready to help themselves obviously.
The hypocritical masses that will never ask questions from their leaders, but rather continue in their Hypocritical lifestyle will continue to suffer it.
This is the real definition of SHAMELESSNESS!! There was a nation!
We wrote this below, over a year ago on Nairaland, We never knew, the same sets of thieves and looters will still come out to do what they know how to do best......
Abandoned projects are being resuscitated nationwide. Recently, the N5.9 BILLION water project in Otuoke, Bayelsa State, came on stream. It was not achieved when a native of the area was President. The Lagos-Otta-Abeokuta road has been awarded. It was not done when a son of the area was in power. The dredging of Warri port for N13 billion has been awarded. Was it awarded when a native of the region was in office for six years? Nigeria is making tremendous progress, and things can only get better.
Las las we go dey alright. You've said it all. To some criminals, they will still continue to say Buhari is their problem! They will all be alright las las... What a shame!
True that!
Do you all noticed how the 6 monikers that are always on the FP cursing their country 24/7 and support the looters and criminals that raped our country for 16 years all neglected this thread....Not even one of them showed up? That is one of their Characteristics : HYPOCRISY!!
A paid poster calling out other supposed paid posters
Look enough with the shadow games. The point is, this project was dead as soon as Jonathan left office. As Buhari redirected all resources to is favoured regions.
No normal country should work like this. The issue is that no people were kept on to maintain the infrastructure or even expand its reach
Leebeedo: Hmmm. A black American colleague of mine walked up to me just last week asking bout travel details to Nigeria. I asked her why she intended travelling to Nigeria and she said she traced her ancestral roots to Nigeria-Togo and she already bought tickets for herself and 3 kids. She needed help with someone to take her around.
I told her point blank: don't visit Nigeria, visit somewhere else. I told her that even the police can kidnap you and ask for ransom in nigeria. Before you start throwing insults, I'm a nigerian like you too and if you still decide to insult me, I won't be bothered. Afterall, I said the truth.
Depends on where she goes, if she goes to Abuja or Lagos she would be fine. Going to places like Aba, Port Harcourt or anywhere up north is a bad idea.
For every bad Nigerian there are many more who are trustworthy. Don't let you myopic viewpoint stop someone from reconnecting with Nigeria.
