pickabeau1:How much do you think she should be paid? Well she has a right to look for a better offer if she's not satisfied with the monthly returns besides there are other factors, some maids earn much and spend their money on provisions, healthcare, clothing, toiletries transport etc etc and some don't earn so much but their employer takes care of all these. These are things one should put into consideration before accepting any offer, some maids benefit quite a lot that even if the take home is low they won't complain. Shey u get? |
barule:How do they behave pls ![]() My hair was never shaved until I was about to enter secondary school and girls had to be on low cut. I read things on nairaland everyday ooo ![]() As far as I know it's Muslims that it's compulsory for. My stand on it is if you want to shave do shave, if you don't then leave it, no right or wrong act there. Personally I would leave my baby girls hair and for the boy I would cut when his scalp is no longer tender and the hair is fuller, I don't fancy babies tender scalp being shaven except it's extremely compulsory. |
Abeg does anybody have information on how to apply for the waiver for a retiree. |
Loool at "virginity is gender specific' Well the thread was originally in romance section, so silly posts/comments are expected. |
mavinc4u:Lool, I was just wondering why the attack on foyeks, the maid is 18 and the agreement is 10k. I just couldn't see what the problem was. That's why I asked how much do they pay their maids maybe I am a bit ignorant since I don't have one. |
I am wondering why people are angry that someone pays a maid 10k per month. Is it not by agreement? Abeg how much do you pay your maids (for those who have). Jjust wondering. Sad story @ topic |
This LRU photographer I wonder what camera he uses. |
Lots of silly boys parading themselves as men on nairaland. Imagine the comments. Lots of peeps on this forum needs to get their head checked. |
And nairalanders were already raving and ranting on the other thread that the vp's daughter was getting married to a Muslim all because they saw that the groom is hajia Bola sagayas son. Now that we know he's a Christian can they all come back to eat their words, the way people jump to conclusion on NL is amazing Happy married life to the couple ojare. |
Considering that I have information about someone in this same situation at the same alimosho gh, I would say the hospital is doing what it can to recoup the owed funds. A patient comes does c/s, delivers the baby and then the baby is admitted at the NNU for some days the baby and mother are discharged and then no money to pay. What do we want the hospital to do? The fact is that they were treated first which is the most important. The fees are subsidized already do we want the hospital to run down |
maclatunji:T My point still is 3 weeks is a short time to conclude if they can handle waste management or not, even psps will take a while before they can mop up the waste in lagos. Maybe I feel this way because I have never really felt the psps where I live. There should have been a process put in place to mop up waste and fill up the vaccum during these months the psps were inactive before visionscape started full operations, that I agree with totally. I also agree almost everywhere is dirty. |
maclatunji:Largely effective but not totally hygienic and safe methods, there were actually places in Lagos that those psps never reached these years The whole stuff had been challenged by lawsuits, counter lawsuits this past year which is not the fault of visionscape Dumpsite were wrongly managed, olusosun and the one beside igando general hospital, place is always smellling, that igando site was and still is an eyesore the express road around that site is fillled with dirt. Those places alone can cause a disease outbreak. Waste management is more than packing refuse. I believe the new guys have something better to offer, for me I am keeping my fingers crossed. Let's see what they will do. 3 weeks is to short to give them a review for a time lapse in waste packing of more than 6 months. |
Indonesia? 15 years? Issorait ![]() |
Nigerians are impatient people ooo The psp guys have been disengaged for months if not more than 6 months now. Visionscape just started operations few weeks back, how we expect waste generated for months to be mopped up in about 3 weeks is what I don't get. After 6 months we can really say if they are working or not It took time for psp too too mop out waste then. Now they want to turn this to fashola vs ambode, visionscape vs psp. |

Rainmaker69:Cost doesn't even matter in my opinion, phcn is who is responsible for electricity not the landlord and if for any reason the cables in the area are damaged everyone who uses it will contribute. Is it the responsibility of the landlord to fix a broken transformer, landlord is to ensure his house is connected, pay for a prepaid meter etc etc not to repair a damaged transformer but as things are in this country, everyone using it will have to contribute irrespective of whether he is a landlord or tenant. Does tenable condition of an apartment include fixing of transformer, transformer the whole street uses. It's not the responsibility of either of the two parties that's my point so if they both want to use electricity they had better contribute what the community is contributing and if the landlord doesn't reside there if they like they should wait for him to contribute money for transformer repair. What about other utilities that were present and are faulty because of tenants carelessness will the landlord pay for that alone too. I moved to an apartment and about a month later the pumping machine got damaged, we all contributed to repair it no story. Set it off with next rent? Is he repairing someting in the apartment or compound? |
Rainmaker69:Well we all know phcn doesn't take that responsibility. So it falls to those using it. So the landlord will pay the cash right. What if landlord doesn't live on the property he will come and pay money to repair transformer abi. Since both use electricity, both should contribute shikena. I am even surprised this is open for debate. |
It was the reaction of the people in the restaurant that got me laughing. Those two ladies were just looking, I was thinking the guy in blue overalls was going to physically defend the man. Everybody just weak loool ![]() |
Here we go again... Education is expensive, if students of govt owned unis are to pay for the cost of running those universities only, they would be paying a lot. I doubt this private unis make profit,it seems some of us don't know what it costs to run a university. |
stonecoldcafe:Loool, una no go kill persin with laugh on this thread. |
neworbit:Bros post pictures and put prices. It's part of the rules of this thread. Very simple. Even if u will have to make up to 5 posts to do so and in subsequent posts when people ask for pictures u refer them to that link. |
So the thread is taking a new turn. It been a very long while this thread has seen some drama. Another phase of drama loading ![]() These are things that I see only in family section while it was still family section. |
LadyGoddiva:As in ehn, me I am still surprised people are getting pissed. I just dey laugh since the whole drama started, as long as food pictures roll in lemme use and salivate. Making snide remarks, quoting her or indirectly/directly insulting her will do nothing. Enjoying the thread to be honest. |
evexx1:Where was I shouting and who told you I am male. Nawa. Someone cannot share his or her experience again. I still find the bra and singlet on that list ridiculous. |
Not surprised, had a cousin who married from akwaibom side some years back about 15 years back. Things were relatively cheap then,We bought sotey we bought singlet for the brides father, ironically there was really nothing on the list for the bride herself. My family was shocked, it was the first time someone was marrying from that side, the funds were not really the issue but the items sounded outrageous. Clothes for the parents |

Springz: ![]() The thread is no longer about clearance sales in my opinion. The first 20 pages of this thread was more about clearance sales. Some prices are outrightly ridiculous almost cost prices for new items are what some people quote for veryy used items, that's the major reason why it seems posters post the items again and again. Only few posters are now offering 'clearance sales price' Bought some nice things at the start of this thread, there were even brand new items offered for way lower than the cost/current market price. But at the end of the day you are entitled to post whatever amount you want to, it's the buyers that will decide to buy or not. |
SweetPuffPuff:I didn't get you. Anyway it's a sheer waste of time to be pissed off with her posts, that's why I am surprised peeps are angry. |
You guys really surprise me. You are getting angry at madam k's posts. ![]() Make I laugh again abeg. ![]() |
