Modern ranching is accepted. The Dutch are one of the best when it comes to ranching. If they want to come and invest no problem, it's a private business , they purchase their lands, they bring their breeds of cows we get milk we get meat. It may even put the fulani herdsmen out of business. There are some small scale cattle ranches in the country (maybe not so modernized) Except there is something I am not understanding? Will the Dutch build their ranches and handover to the Fulani? Or does FG want to sponsor the building of the ranches and hand over to the herdsmen? |
I wonder why nobody saw that it was a scholarship he got, not going to hustle. |
Why is he calling ogun to kill nature, order and giving ![]() Lool and lool. |
CharlesNneji1:Lool I thought I was the only one who noticed ![]() |
![]() I have laughed a lot at the comments. Well repetition is for emphasis, if you and your husband want to write your name as joint owners of a property (especially) or asset. Format is Mr Ciroma chukwuma Adekunle and Mrs Hauwa Nkechi Adekunle please not Mr and Mrs Adekunle. So that it will be clear. It doesn't mean your husband is not trustworthy it's also to save you as a female from evil inlaws as they can manufacture another Mrs. Joint investments can bear Mr and Mrs Adekunle as title e no matter, ot just name of account . what matters is your individual names on the forms and the mandate (I wonder why people don't take this serious) If your hubby or wifey has spending issues pls choose the both to sign option. One will check mate the other If trust is total and non of you is a spendthrift or a glutton and you have same values you can choose the either to sign option. At least you are almost certain he/she won't spend away your family investments. But then your husband can always dash you a whole property(in your own name) it's allowed ![]() |
What a sane write up, it's been a while I read something this refreshing on NL. Off to the entrepreneurship threads ![]() |
iamkeyz: ![]() This table you are shaking ehn ![]() You want a Nigerian man to live in a house built by a Nigerian woman in Nigeria and you are asking the opinion of Nigerian man on nairaland. Issorait |
Okay so they both made profit from a business Hubby used his share for his parents, wifey used her share to buy a Land for the family( in her name). Now husband and wife built the house TOGETHER. Hubby threatens wifey to pack out, wifey says the property is in her name. Hubby gets angry, moves out tells his family about what wifey does Hubby wants wifey to change the document in his name Wifey suggests both of their names Hubby wants his name alone for the house that the land was bought with her own proceeds of the business and they contributed to build together. Well that's the summary of the whole story. He will chase you out of that house once you change the documents to his. He might not do it in 5years time but he will surely do it and this one he has informed his relatives too you are now the 'bad wife' may God help you. It's because of men like these some woman contribute nothing to Land issues of their husband's they will just be looking at you from far. Even advice they won't give, supervise they won't do. ![]() |
LaudableXX:Not entirely Well the one I saw was clean, neat but not as airy it was cramped up so does not qualify. But the NNU unit at alimosho general hospital maternal care centre is clean neat and airy maybe because it's newborns that are there sha. |
Daeylar: nice points, never even looked at it from that perspective. |
itsmeurLady:Quite true @bolded and innocent ladies walk right into it sometimes. |
tamethem:That's naija for you once we hear money like this our antenna will rise I just don't seem to understand nairalanders. wait first is the money supposed to make them compatible? Abi is it not marriage again? |
ObaFemy:Oga this day and age is not the time to place a girl child on your laps, even if you are just the big uncle people will read meaning to it. Infact parents are telling their children not to sit on any uncles laps, not to allow any uncle touch them anywhere. I grew up (till 9) years among university age peeps and my cousins had loads of male friends, as the youngest in the house all of them was my big brother whenever they come around they all took me as their little sister, uncle x, uncle y, uncle z but that was then oo Now I won't allow anyone so close to my children in form of uncle despite the fact that I was never molested. Times have change, rate of molestation is high now please. The essence of my long story is 'stop allowing her to sit on your lap' simple As for if your friend is molesting his daughter well you can decide to find out. |
Acidosis:I was wondering at the comments, so because he is rich she should force herself to do what she doesn't like doing? She's reserved he's not He wants her to look professionally made up always, she wants to be able to do just foundation powder and lipstick sometimes. He likes partying, she doesnt He wants her to wear heavy jewelry she wants the simple ones He wants to luxurious show off life, she wants the simple life. People break up with ladies simply because they are the clubbing and slay types , the man in not that type and the ladies don't want to change. OP try to let him see reason with your lifestyle, you should reach a middle ground. Nothing wrong with looking glam and we'll made up every other time but everytime is quite a burden to quite a lot of ladies. There's a reason he came for you, dated and proposed he saw the other regular club girls didn't he. Since every other thing seems okay you guys should sit and talk about this if there's no compromise and you know you can't cope please walk, simple. It doesn't mean he's a bad person, it's just that compatibility is important in marriage. I can't believe the same nairalanders who are say ladies marry for money are saying she's missing an opportunity simply because the guy has money. Hypocrites. |
Dismantling is a wrong choice of word I was thinking it was vibrating, cracking or something else besides I am almost certain that it's Nigerians that remove the roof at night. Same thing that happened to the streetlights along Lasu iyanaba road between iba express- bridge and obadore they even sawed one off simply because that side is always lonely no homes around there. Nigerians are the problem of Nigeria o jare. |
Lool if you are unlucky and you jam iyanaishashi hold up, iyana Era hold up,iyana iba volks barracks, alakija holdup in one single day then you can spend up to 8hours. That road is a nightmare. |
LewsTherin: ![]() @topic - you don't want the pregnancy to lead to marriage then avoid the sex that will lead to pregnancy so that no one will say that to you. Life is very simple. ![]() |
![]() My mind went to the Oluwo of Iwo immediately I saw the topic and I was not disappointed. It can't be any other Yoruba king saying this it has to be him. |
I am just wondering how those boys passed through that sharp U bend when going deep inside the cave, even under dry conditions it looks risky. Let them recover first, then they should be disciplined I think but then the stress to swim out is enough discipline, next time they won't go near that place again. ![]() |
Thank God this thread was opened. That road is now an eyesore abegii chai. From Iyana ishashi to market bustop when going towards agabara side, alraine bustop after iyanaera when going towards okoko ( Ferma came to pour coal tar on the other side of the bustop going towards agbara some weeks back). Iyana Era bustop towards Agbara, FRSC bustop before Iyanaera, customs check point after Agbara bridge, some parts of ojuoolowo. These places have collapsed patapata to even think it's an international road. That Iyana ishashi is the worst if rain falls na wahala, the terrible part of it all is when there's traffic at Iyana Ishashi, it's ripple effect is felt everywhere even down to IYANA Era because the buses will shunt passing through okoko-alaba-ilogbo or Afromedia and all come out at Iyanaera, it's always chaotic. I always pray never to get involved in iyanaishai hold up. They should also chase all those trucks at Iyanaishashi, they also contribute to the traffic. ![]() Some days back people came back home 3am from Alakija side holdup. Let Ferma come and patch this road abeg and LASG should do quick with the construction, road that they started since 2008 at orile side. We are already used to volks barracks traffic which reduced greatly over the years, it's like everything is back to status quo. I only pity those who work on the Island and live here. |
dominique:Hello ma'am I was banned by antispam bot in family section for trying to post on a thread I don't know how this banning thing works, pressed the submit button and gbam I was banned for 1 hour since yesterday evening, till now can't post there.Edakun e epp me. Thanks. |
Cultism haunts till death. Very recently a school held a convocation and A Dad went to celebrate with his son, nobody knew he was a cult member that attended that same university. The boy is about 20years now, one of his people back then saw him and told him it's better he leaves that scene as soon as possible because it will be disastrous if others associate his son with him. The man quickly dropped cash for his son and sped off. The mother was shaking, she never even knew the husband was a cultist, they met abroad ni oo. I was like for more than 20 years it's still haunting them, na real wa. Growing up around a university that was renowned for cultism helped shaped my thought about them. Last Last you will pay. |
newoffer: ![]() Bros no vex but I just had to quote you for emphasis sake Apart from the moral and religious part of it, cheating is very expensive ke. I don't know how men reason sha. |
All these palava on top sex ![]() One can get tempted yeah especially by what you see but allowing the thoughts to linger that you even start considering the temptation to the extent it becomes a pressure (abi I am not getting what pressure means again?) is what I find alarming The most annoying statement I have read and still read on nairaland is the 'Men are polygamous by nature' statement. Wait first who even started brandishing that lie up and down around here. ![]() Temptation is temptation it can happen to any man. Pressure is on another level entirely abeg meaning you are constantly being moved to cheat on your wife. Ka ma ri ooo ![]() |
Lool The most annoying part now is that their marketers are now professional debt collectors ![]() We don't have steady light somewhere around ojo area too and the terrible part is that just streets away we have those who are connected to the so called federal abi it's Agbara line, they have light almost everytime and they even bill us more than them (my parents home are on that line). They said our own is state line When it gets to between 13th -20th they supply electricity steady, if there's a fault you won't see the marketer around, for like 2weeks there may not be light but they will ensure they repair it towards that their bill payment week. The man willl now come with his bald head and big Tommy and be going house to house for payment after they bring the light for 2days. If you say you have not paid he will tell you to bring the money and the bill, the dude will go to the office pay it and return the bill back If you say you don't have now he will ask you when you will pay and it's certain you will see him knock if you have not paid by that time they are that desperate to meet their target. The question still remains why should I pay for what I am not using at least those on the federal line are using the electricity, we don't have supply up to half of what they get so why should I pay an exorbitant bill. Meter they didn't supply. Na real wa. |
Nairalanders have wahala sha, all this talk on a story ![]() |
I believe competition happened Lots of China made brands and then hayat kimlas molfix spoilt market for them. By the way most(if not all) made in Naija pampers are of low quality. That molfix is an eyesore ![]() |
Mariangeles:Thank you ibkayee:Real Yum ![]() |
First food post alert, have always been a salivator ![]() I hope it uploads this time Akara Dodo and beans porridge
|
This thread still dey ![]() Nigerian women are actually very hardworking and resilient. EOD Ehen Elder001 I saw you type stuff about female inheritance bill at the national assembly. Whether they pass or not it's left for the cultures involved to modify their culture to accommodate females or else the bill if passed might be a waste of time. BTW where I come from females inherit already, as a female you can inherit from your father, your mother (if she has personal properties) and then your husband . No special preference to the male child. Head to head sharing formular or sharing by group if you are from polygamous home i.e children from mother A are given X and they sort it out among them selves etc. |
