America001:I highly doubt this will count as 2 or more. Does it involve a transcript? Are there a series of exams culminating in the certificate or is it just one exam? First starting point is to establish if you can actually get a transcript, otherwise there's little chance it will count as 2 or more. In any case, I'm not WES. To be absolutely sure, send an email to them and ask them directly. They will reply you with the specifics. |
Voltron007:Road just bad for Toronto anyhow ![]() Looks like Islington and Albion

That's the sad reality of a couple of marriages out there. The solution is to look before you leap. Make sure the person doesn't have that kind of behaviour before you marry them. But if you do end up in that situation, then I don't know what to say. The best solution is to probably walk away because this kind of woman na gbege. |
kyle2009:There's no issue with adding your spouse after wedding. But of course, it may delay your processing a bit. Read this timeline here: https://www.nairaland.com/6829885/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled/250#114893065 But don't make the mistake here: https://www.nairaland.com/6829885/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled/196#113600014 And see here for an advice on the best time to add: https://www.nairaland.com/6829885/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled/144#112105101 Who's changing names? |
Jakson25:The English introduced Cricket to India, and India just ran away with it. Today, they have a team that is much stronger than the English team. |
TimT:What do you mean they aren't African games. South African just won the world cup. Zimbabwe is a very strong Rugby country. Same thing Namibia. Nambia also has a strong cricket team, having beaten some of the strongest teams in the world like Sri Lanka. |
Angelfrost:Look at it as a ratio of vices to population, it comes down to the same. Kidnapping, armed robbery, assassinations, etc are all vices that are as common in Nigeria as they are in Colombia, as long as you look at it as a ratio of population size. |
Colombia is as bad as Nigeria is. They are twins when it comes to kidnapping. Add Mexico to the mix and you get a veritable triplet. |
The greed of the average Nigerian poliitican continues to shine through, even more surprisingly those of LP lawmakers that were supposed to be the defining example for a new democracy. I have no hesitation in saying that, had the outcome of the presidential elections swung Obi's way, we will not have seen a difference. Lawmakers will still award fat salaries and luxurious gifts to themselves, while the sitting president, Obi, watches in compliance. What can he do? Absolutely nothing. The rot is so deep it will take years and years to clean. That's certain, and even an Obi can barely show any determination to clean it. Nigerian is on an irreparable course to self-destruct based on the current actions of its political class. Evidence of that has already started showing in the short term. In the long term, the result is eventual economic and political tsunamis with no parallel. |
OTOIDEEHI:You don't need that document; it'll do more damage than good. |
Another malinformed project |
Okolo3662:Your American and western people told you these are the greatest books every written and also made sure that the selection were nearly all their kinsmen and you too you are pushing it out there and sharing it on a Nigerian website. You should be ashamed of yourself!! |
smut:If your residence papers are being processed, it doesn't mean you are illegal in that country. You just don't have the papers yet. That shouldn't stop you from creating a profile on IRCC website and starting your run for express entry, pending when your documents become available. You'd expect that by the time you need to start scanning and submitting physical documents, your residence papers will be available. At the point of creating a profile and waiting for ITA, nobody needs copies of your documents. |
evachy:Have you used the CRS tool to estimate your potential CRS score? That should be your first step. See where that puts you, then you can figure if you need to learn French or focus on PNPs. |
lyndaoyewole:Wakanow is just an agent and not an official source for all things related to Canadian visas, so it's no surprise if they are misinformed. WIth SOWP, you certainly should be able to book a one-way ticket, though some airlines can be overzealous and want you to book return. Call the actual airline you want to fly with and explain to them; they are in a better position to advice. Preferably go to the airline website and book your one-way ticket, and see if any of the prompts mandates you to book a return. In any case, check with the airline first. ANd if they force you to book a return, you can always book them individually and cancel the return within 24 hours of booking it. Some airlines allow cancellation without charge, while some will only charge a token for cancellation. Obviously, look at the costs of cancellation versus cost of retaining the ticket and see what works for you. |
ExcellencyFSA:Though they scarcely ask, you should hold some sort of evidence of your POF on you. That could be your bank app you could log into to show your balance or some stamped printout from your bank showing the balance you declared in your application. |
Lucifyre:You are right, that's very likely. Losing inhibitions totally like that is consistent with opioids use, which is prevalent in recent years in America. But you never know if it's medically prescribed. |
Just help her,. mehn. What's with the videoing instead of helping? Videoing her to put on social media without her permission is a violation of her rights. What has the world turned to because of social media!? |
tshtsh:Better words have not been said. It's good you mentioned PR card. I remember when I applied for another card after I lost my original card. Processing times on their website showed around 2 months or so. My card took over 7 months to come out. All that time, I wanted to go to Nigeria for some business, but simply couldn't travel because I didn't want to get into the hassle of getting stuck trying to apply for a PRTD in Nigeria. Who knows how much longer I would have had to wait in Nigeria? I had to find ways to conduct my biz remotely. It was urgent, but it didn't need that I continued to spam the CIC hotlines or emails, because I understood pretty well they had a huge backlog. That's what many don't understand. It's a simple backlog and you take your queue in the line. There's nothing unacceptable there. The same way you take your queue when you go for medical assistance and it's not urgent, or you try to apply for road test, etc. It's not typical that IRCC employees sit on their hands and just let files pile up. The idea to keep spamming IRCC because of a perceived delay is something that is unusually common with Nigerians and it stems from their experience with local government officials who need to be reminded and/or pressured to do their job. Some Nigerians are quick to point to the fact that they only saw "changes" in their profile or only received their COPR after they raised a webform to remind IRCC to do their job. What they fail to say is that they have been spamming all through the duration of their application and can't point to that one spam email that activated IRCC. So, you start to wonder, was it really the spamming or was it really IRCC doing their job and ignoring the spamming? And yes, many Nigerians spam IRCC with phone calls and emails. I know that as a fact, but won't be disclosing my source. Anyone can believe that only if they want to. |
Kongrats:You don't have a BSc? |
ElSudani:Grand delusions! I'm not a Tinubu fan, but I'm yet to see in which universe his presidency will be overturned by judges he has literally connived with to keep him in power. |
Kongrats:What you need are years of experience as a software developer. And also stating that NOC in your application. Here's where you should start from. If those 3 years are as a tech hand, then you should be good. Doesn't really matter if you write PTE or ielts. If you can write and score 90/90 in PTE, then I'm fairly certain you can easily max out your ielts. The nature and difficulty of these exams are not very far from one another. |
Haoke:Yes, it will hamper your chances. When applying you'll need to submit police report for the period of your residence in South Africa. You obviously can't get this while being illegal there. Your best bet: if you really want that job and it all looks legit, move back to Nigeria and let Nigeria be your country of residence while you complete your application. You can then get police report for the duration you were in South Africa for. In any case, make it look like your residence is Justis Nigeria, not South Africa. |
Kongrats:You are a prime candidate for Ontario PNP. Max out your IELTS and get into the pool, while you could then continue with other possibilities of increasing your score. Very likely you will get ITA before you manage to increase your CRS score. |
aWITNESS:It's now NGN9.3M |
Why is no one talking about the doctor? What he did was illegal and contrary to the Hippocratic oath he promised to uphold. He should be arrested along with the boss. This is why Nigeria will continue to be a shitshow. If na UK, the doctor don lose his licence be that |
Exchange rate now 930 naira to 1CAD on LemFi. This is becoming a serious matter! |
njambert:You live in Edmonton? |
Enculer2:Lmao. All I have in my head is that girl that was crying. Wahala! ![]() |
Jrmh29v11:If you could point me to a part in the procedures where they said they are delibrately sitting on your passport and won't process it or will delay it intentionally, so that you can go on social media to start chattering, then I might just make some small allowance to agree with you. But of course, you can't. They are even generous enough to offer your channels to address possible delays by raising a web form. But the best option for you is to come shyt all over this thread and start complaining about a delay. Let me help you remember that you are not dealing with the Nigerian government where some lazy official is simply sitting on their hands and refusing to process your passport because you haven't dropped the required 10%. Maybe you don't realize this sha. I say make I remind you. |
Jrmh29v11:What are you on about? I have all the love and kindness I need already. I understand that as a Nigerian you have no sense of how procedures work and, having experienced government neglect for several years or decades, you can't truly comprehend what it means when a delay is only caused by huge backlogs and not by a government authority merely sitting on your file for the fun of it. So, I symphathize with you in that regard. It's not my fault that you lacked that comprehension. What I think you need now is plenty dose of true reality and not the artificial reality that the Nigerian government has fed you over the years. And please don't stop there. When you get to Canada and you apply to a job and they don't reply you after 2 months, please spam their HR for a response. You are after all entitled to it. Also, when you apply to get medical treatment and they put you on a waiting list of 4 months, please spam their help desk for immediate response. You are after all entitled to it. In addition, when you apply for day care for your kid in Canada and they put you on a waiting list of 3 months, please spam their customer desk all day for INSTANT response. You are after all entitled to it. You lots need to grow up. You don't even look like you are ready for the challenges the country will pose. Obsessing over a supposed delay in a visa that will CERTAINLY come, when it's not like you have a deadline looming over you. I wish you guys the best! |
