guys u don try small to talk e truth. dos guy r selfish. Yes! buh wateva money they make, quote me,they deserve it. it's not their fault that oil as a God given gift is in their backyard. so,they r supposed to be big boys from that,n not some northerner up there claiming all oil blocks n raking in billions. in as much as I don't support d bombings, pmb Shld av continued de amnesty with his own condition. do u know dat de best way to fight dis guys is by doing de needful or de ordinary masses? that way he will get their support. but sadly ur pmb refered to all of dem as 5percenters who don't deserve his care lyk de 97percenters. my dear, stay blessed, but advise ur pmb not to use de ODI treatment o, cos I av a trauma frm dat experience. No joke. it will not happen again n go scot free.
Guy, first of all the story of northerners owning all the oil blocks is a big fat lie which has been flaunted so much around Nigeria that it is now being regarded as truth. Just recently, a most comprehensive list of oil block owners was published on this site and the list revealed that oil block owners cut across all the zones of Nigeria. Apparently when it is time to share national wealth amongst themselves in Abuja, the hawks don't remember tribe or religion, but when it is time to politic, they play politics of divide and rule by inciting tribal dissaffection amongst the gullible lower class and youngsters in society in order to secure personal political relevance.

Now you claim the money they (militants) make is deserved, and I would ask you, have you ever gone to the village of the Tompolos or Asaris or Boyloafs or Ateke Toms of this world?.... If you dare go to these villages and see the squalor in those places, I doubt you will say these 'big gang leaders' who collect billions and live in Abuja and build Universities in Cotonou etc. deserve it. These guys simply ride on the genuine misfortunes of oil producing communities and make billions for their personal pockets while nothing at all is returned to the very communities who truly deserve the billions. Except you are encouraging every single indigene (male and female, old and young) of oil producing communities to carry arms before they benefit anything, then I dont know what you mean by saying those big gang leaders deserve the moneys they are paid.

Finally you claim Buhari stopped amnesty, that is another bloody lie which the political hawks have used to deceive the people into anger and agitation. The original amnesty package as instituted by Yaradua/GEJ was meant to last until 2015 but since Buhari came in, the amnesty programme has been extended till 2018 (I think, I'm not too sure). But obviously, some political anarchists have chosen to misinform and incite the people to anger using the lie that amnesty has been stopped.

I never said that was the solution. I only described how the last two administration escaped the wrath of those boys. it might not be the solution but at least it worked for them. Now PMB could ve used diplomacy in re engineering that system, not with the way he is doing it now. his body odour or language was negative from the word go. Now everyone is suffering it. Because without the pipelines there ll be no power or light, and many other related issues. Nigeria is currently in a bigger trouble with the ND
Its a very sad situation because if the nation's economy could easily go down under courtesy of only a fall in crude prices, I cant imagine what would happen now when oil production has dropped by up to 50%. The effect of this drop in production would only start being felt in a couple of months; it would be agony and we go curse buhari taya. The fact remains that Nigeria is presently in deep shit.

RELEASEUS:
I beg to differ from your opening view...no one wants PMB to resign, that's not possible in the first place except he becomes sick and expires. I don't wish him that though. What is happening now in the Niger delta is just a reaction to actions that have been going on for ages. What Late Yaradua and GEJ did was to wisely pump money in the guise of contracts to keep the boys quiet during their administration. A typical Fulani man will call that rubbish and would want to bully his way through thinking he has the power, which is exactly what PMB is doing now. You think the boys will not remember their cause when the money stops coming? Now what is their cause? Listen bro, the ND is in ruins, neglect in totality and a abject poverty pervades the land. What does shell, chevron et all do for their host communities? Answer is nothing. The north constantly reminds the south that they are their overlords, do you know in Delta state there is no single federal university? The PTI that was converted to a university is a mockery of itself, PTI is a small school already, it was then divided into two again and one part call a uni, it's that justice? I can go on and on but ll pause here cos I don dey vex, don't want to take my mind to my people and our struggles and suffering in the midst of plenty.
Do you really think paying billions constantly to the 'big' gang leaders to pacify them is a sustainable solution?.... By paying the big gang leaders money and neglecting the real communities that need upliftment, was that really a sustainable or fair strategy?

Besides, buhari just took over and nothing, absolutely nothing has been done by the government so far cos the first budget was only just signed a while ago. So why wouldnt a genuine agitator wait a bit and see what's in stock before they resume blowing everything up and rendering 170 million Nigerians hungry.. As far as I'm concerned, the guys presently blowing things up are merely opportunists who want to make big bucks, just like their older colleagues who have now made mon,ey, they have no regard for even the niger delta they claim to be fighting for and most of their motives are even politically driven.

This is basically what the main actors in the economic sabotage want. Nothing short of Buhari resigning will appease NDA and the other parading militants who are obviously politically linked. But will an African president, let alone a Nigerian president ever resign? Your guess is as good as mine. Sadly, the nationwide suffering running up to 2019 would be mega, and I guess the only food Nigerians would eat at a point would just be insults thrown at Buhari.

PoliticsAnambra Targets Top Spot In Rice Production by obailala(op): 1:17pm On Jun 01, 2016
Anambra Targets Top Spot In Rice Production

The Anambra State government says it is increasing efforts to close the gap in Nigeria’s rice production and emerging as the third largest producer of rice in the nation making efforts to shift its revenue source away from crude oil sales.

It is another season of rice planting and the state government is assessing farms in Anaku, Ayamelum and Nnewi South Local Government Areas of Anambra State.

At least 800 out of 2,500 hectares of land given to an investing farm and being run under a Public-Private Partnership involving the Anambra State government and the investor have been cultivated.

The farm production target is 5,000 metric tonnes this year, as against 3,000 metric tonnes produced last year.

Arriving Anaku in Ayamelum Local Government area of the state, the Governor was heartily received by the traditional ruler of the Anaku and some government functionaries.

The itinerary of the Governor of the State, Mr Willie Obiano, began with the inspection of the 1.9 kilometre road where earthwork had been done up to seventy per cent.

The road is part of the equity contribution of the State government towards the partnership which would make for easy movement in and out of the farm.

The General Manager of the farm, who conducted the Governor around said the seeding commenced on the May 23 and that harvest would be in October, with 4,000 metric tonnes of rice expected.

The Governor expressed satisfaction with both the road construction and the rice farm, observing that the technology used in the farm was advanced and computerised.

He spelt out the certainty that rice production in the state would significantly be boosted.

From Anaku, the Governor moved to Stine Rice Mill in Amichi Nnewi South Local Government Area, where Anambra rice is processed and bagged, Governor Obiano expressed delight at the growth of the mill within a short period of time especially with the “Best Rice Brand in Africa” award won with Anambra rice.

The operations of the mill had been reinvigorated through a loan provided by the Anambra Small Business Agency and it presently mills approximately nine thousand bags of rice a day.

The Managing Director of the Mill who took the Governor on facility tour of the plant acknowledged that the agricultural revolutionary policy of the Governor had given a boost to rice production in the state.

The Commissioner for Agriculture also remarked that the mill had become the biggest in West Africa by virtue of its production capacity.

Governor Obiano expressed joy that the paddy used for production in the mill was sourced 100 per cent from farms across the state and announced that the increased yield expected from rice farms across the state through his administration’s intervention would ensure the state was headed for sufficiency in rice production.

He also believes that the development will bridge the gap in consumption.

Governor Obiano further directed that construction of the Umunwehi Road leading to the milling plant be kick started immediately.

Oba lai lai, since you have the right information do well to post it here and now for the benefit of your readership.

And when you are done with your hypocrisy and jaundiced views you can go back to your bowl of ewedu and amala.

You would not counter the rationale behind the allocation N59 billion to Lai's Ministry of Propaganda while Agriculture gets N29 billion and the Ministry of Labour gets a N7 billion despite the economic downturn. And you still have the guts to rant.
Now it is proven that you are just ranting purposelessly and directionlessly like a scorned first wife.

Firstly, the title of this thread is very very clear, I do not see how the third paragraph of your comment fits into the discussions on this thread.

Secondly, you say you need 'right information'?... The Op has just posted the 'right information' as directly lifted from the recently approved 2016 budget. I do not believe you need the 'right information' as you claim because you obviously prefer the lie; you prefer the lie because it suits your political narrative and it lends credence to your hatred for the present govt. If you do not love the lie, i wonder why in May 2016, you still choose to hold on tightly to the falsehood of 'N2.9bn budgeted for the entire SE' even though several reports have debunked that evil rumour.

It is a known fact that the hardest man to wake is one who fakes his sleep. I don't think I have anything more to say to you because I strongly believe you are faking your ignorance just so you have something to say.

Why do some humans like you allow yourselves to be used by the devil to spread lies and promote hate?..... The picture you pasted quotes only N2.9bn for projects in the SE, you know very well that that rumour was dubiously created and spread by some evil minds just to deceive people and cause anger, there is sufficient info in the public space that proves it to be very false propaganda, even the info contained in this thread which is an extract from the approved 2016 budget confirms this. You know very well that it is a lie, but you still just choose to peddle it nevertheless and I ask, "to what end?".... What do you gain by deliberately spreading inciting falsehood?

did you see the a0k1i with a horsewhip?
so you whip kids and force them to drink water all in the name of training?
chai you're pathetic
No I am not blind and I am not pathetic, I am simply educating you from a well informed point of view; that is what Nigerian military men and women go through during their training which makes them heartless. The soldier (trainer) in the video is even quite popular (capt . Daggar). And yeah, the people in the video look young 'because they are young,' recruits in the army are enlisted from as young as 17/18yrs old. The white and blue outfit is what recruits wear at the NA DEPOT in Kaduna, google is your friend, I'm sure you can find more pictures.

You should seek to educate yourself instead of running about swallowing and spreading any false propaganda you see online especially from die-hard plebs who are hell bent on destroying whatever is left of Nigeria.

The reasons why he cannot generate much revenue is obvious, you cannot expect ekiti state to generate as much revenue as Delta state.

But yeah, that we cannot generate is not a reason why those who generated and swallowed all they generated should be exonerated.

PoliticsRe: Buhari's Biggest Blunder Vs Buhari's Biggest Brilliance. by obailala(m): 10:50am On May 28, 2016
Biggest blunders
1. Lack of communication - Only speaking to foreigners and always leaving both his ministers and Nigerians at large to guess and speculate what's on his mind

2. Poor speech pattern - unpresidential speeches (e.g. 5%, 'I can afford it', Nigerians are corrupt etc)

3. Lack of diplomacy - Extending a hand of fellowship and having an inclusive govt could have watered down most of the tension and crisis brewing up today. The country is much more divided along ethnic line because of this blunder.

4. Ridiculously glaring nepotism/bigotry - especially in appointments, attitude towards herdsmen, 5% speeches etc.

Brilliance
1. Bokoharam

2. Plugging leaking holes - Its now more difficult to steal

3. Corruption - It may 'appear' one-sided, but the fact and the real result is that we can no longer wake up one morning and hear that N10bn allocated to fix a road has entered the pockets of one or two persons, either apc or pdp).
