Elliot2:Guy, first of all the story of northerners owning all the oil blocks is a big fat lie which has been flaunted so much around Nigeria that it is now being regarded as truth. Just recently, a most comprehensive list of oil block owners was published on this site and the list revealed that oil block owners cut across all the zones of Nigeria. Apparently when it is time to share national wealth amongst themselves in Abuja, the hawks don't remember tribe or religion, but when it is time to politic, they play politics of divide and rule by inciting tribal dissaffection amongst the gullible lower class and youngsters in society in order to secure personal political relevance. Now you claim the money they (militants) make is deserved, and I would ask you, have you ever gone to the village of the Tompolos or Asaris or Boyloafs or Ateke Toms of this world?.... If you dare go to these villages and see the squalor in those places, I doubt you will say these 'big gang leaders' who collect billions and live in Abuja and build Universities in Cotonou etc. deserve it. These guys simply ride on the genuine misfortunes of oil producing communities and make billions for their personal pockets while nothing at all is returned to the very communities who truly deserve the billions. Except you are encouraging every single indigene (male and female, old and young) of oil producing communities to carry arms before they benefit anything, then I dont know what you mean by saying those big gang leaders deserve the moneys they are paid. Finally you claim Buhari stopped amnesty, that is another bloody lie which the political hawks have used to deceive the people into anger and agitation. The original amnesty package as instituted by Yaradua/GEJ was meant to last until 2015 but since Buhari came in, the amnesty programme has been extended till 2018 (I think, I'm not too sure). But obviously, some political anarchists have chosen to misinform and incite the people to anger using the lie that amnesty has been stopped. |
RELEASEUS:Its a very sad situation because if the nation's economy could easily go down under courtesy of only a fall in crude prices, I cant imagine what would happen now when oil production has dropped by up to 50%. The effect of this drop in production would only start being felt in a couple of months; it would be agony and we go curse buhari taya. The fact remains that Nigeria is presently in deep shit. |
RELEASEUS:Do you really think paying billions constantly to the 'big' gang leaders to pacify them is a sustainable solution?.... By paying the big gang leaders money and neglecting the real communities that need upliftment, was that really a sustainable or fair strategy? Besides, buhari just took over and nothing, absolutely nothing has been done by the government so far cos the first budget was only just signed a while ago. So why wouldnt a genuine agitator wait a bit and see what's in stock before they resume blowing everything up and rendering 170 million Nigerians hungry.. As far as I'm concerned, the guys presently blowing things up are merely opportunists who want to make big bucks, just like their older colleagues who have now made mon,ey, they have no regard for even the niger delta they claim to be fighting for and most of their motives are even politically driven. |
AngryNigerian:This is basically what the main actors in the economic sabotage want. Nothing short of Buhari resigning will appease NDA and the other parading militants who are obviously politically linked. But will an African president, let alone a Nigerian president ever resign? Your guess is as good as mine. Sadly, the nationwide suffering running up to 2019 would be mega, and I guess the only food Nigerians would eat at a point would just be insults thrown at Buhari. |

66xtr33r:Now it is proven that you are just ranting purposelessly and directionlessly like a scorned first wife. Firstly, the title of this thread is very very clear, I do not see how the third paragraph of your comment fits into the discussions on this thread. Secondly, you say you need 'right information'?... The Op has just posted the 'right information' as directly lifted from the recently approved 2016 budget. I do not believe you need the 'right information' as you claim because you obviously prefer the lie; you prefer the lie because it suits your political narrative and it lends credence to your hatred for the present govt. If you do not love the lie, i wonder why in May 2016, you still choose to hold on tightly to the falsehood of 'N2.9bn budgeted for the entire SE' even though several reports have debunked that evil rumour. It is a known fact that the hardest man to wake is one who fakes his sleep. I don't think I have anything more to say to you because I strongly believe you are faking your ignorance just so you have something to say. |
Jirate:Regarding the image you posted and 'twisted' above, prof soyinka was referring to GEJ in the original statement and never buhari. Some humans are naturally very petty liars. |
This surely sounds like a more possible scenario. I couldn't comprehend the rationale behind 'singling out BMB' and preventing him from shaking PMB. I hope BMB isn't beginning to develop a form of paranoid disorder. |
66xtr33r:Why do some humans like you allow yourselves to be used by the devil to spread lies and promote hate?..... The picture you pasted quotes only N2.9bn for projects in the SE, you know very well that that rumour was dubiously created and spread by some evil minds just to deceive people and cause anger, there is sufficient info in the public space that proves it to be very false propaganda, even the info contained in this thread which is an extract from the approved 2016 budget confirms this. You know very well that it is a lie, but you still just choose to peddle it nevertheless and I ask, "to what end?".... What do you gain by deliberately spreading inciting falsehood? |
@Op, that is Dogara, not Oyegun. |
Freelancer2015:On the contrary, Nigerians are killing Nigeria because they hate and think they are punishing Buhari. |
Nnemuka:No I am not blind and I am not pathetic, I am simply educating you from a well informed point of view; that is what Nigerian military men and women go through during their training which makes them heartless. The soldier (trainer) in the video is even quite popular (capt . Daggar). And yeah, the people in the video look young 'because they are young,' recruits in the army are enlisted from as young as 17/18yrs old. The white and blue outfit is what recruits wear at the NA DEPOT in Kaduna, google is your friend, I'm sure you can find more pictures. You should seek to educate yourself instead of running about swallowing and spreading any false propaganda you see online especially from die-hard plebs who are hell bent on destroying whatever is left of Nigeria. Cc: Abeymills |
sanandreas:The reasons why he cannot generate much revenue is obvious, you cannot expect ekiti state to generate as much revenue as Delta state. But yeah, that we cannot generate is not a reason why those who generated and swallowed all they generated should be exonerated. |
Nnemuka:Evil propaganda by a stupid ipob anyibest or whatever the mumu calls himself all in a bid to destroy whatever is left of Nigeria. That video is a video of military recruits in training and the video was pulled off the NA training depot facebook page. The idiiot pulled of the video and re-tagged it "army torturing biafrans in niger delta while searching for militants." May God forgive us. |
Nigerians have to be some of the most indisciplined humans ever. Sometimes crazy approaches like this is really what NIgerians deserve; this is the only language most NIgerians understand. |
permsec:But a lot of people have been asking for devaluation?... This is just one of the effects. |
EasternLion:It takes one to know one. |
pinkyliceous:Stop being a boring ignoramus... okay, can you swear on the life of your children that buhari is the one who made the statement? When a lie is told so often and it becomes so popular for sentimental reasons, even those who originated the lie begin to believe it as the truth. Kindly show me this video on youtube?... or if you cant, kindly paste a reputable newspaper link to this effect. |
This is most likely a rumour being spread by mumus as propaganda to stir up anger. But would be terrible if true. |
Biggest blunders 1. Lack of communication - Only speaking to foreigners and always leaving both his ministers and Nigerians at large to guess and speculate what's on his mind 2. Poor speech pattern - unpresidential speeches (e.g. 5%, 'I can afford it', Nigerians are corrupt etc) 3. Lack of diplomacy - Extending a hand of fellowship and having an inclusive govt could have watered down most of the tension and crisis brewing up today. The country is much more divided along ethnic line because of this blunder. 4. Ridiculously glaring nepotism/bigotry - especially in appointments, attitude towards herdsmen, 5% speeches etc. Brilliance 1. Bokoharam 2. Plugging leaking holes - Its now more difficult to steal 3. Corruption - It may 'appear' one-sided, but the fact and the real result is that we can no longer wake up one morning and hear that N10bn allocated to fix a road has entered the pockets of one or two persons, either apc or pdp). *** Oops! more than 4 sentences ![]() |
pinkyliceous:Are you aware it was never buhari who made that statement? |
HammerTheirPapa:Obsession leads to madness... beware. |
EasternLion:Keep cursing yourself... If I am telling the truth, then that your insult is directed straight to your generation. Nonsense!... Oh yes, the jonathanian wailers are mainly from a particular side of the country, how is that a lie?... Oh sorry, I'm not suppose to admit to a glaring truth because according to some daft skulls, it would mean throwing a stone at my people. Just FYI, I am not a jonathanian wailer and I have every right to make fun of my political opponents. Only a compound idiiot and clannish twerp thinks that everything must be tribalised and that because a person is from a particular tribe, then he must have the same political preference as the crowd. I'm sorry, I wasnt raised by my parents to be a typical tribally depraved Nigerian. |
Abeg this is not possible... |
zooster:Transform their pockets like they've been doing for 16 years right?... Or do you mean transforming the nation by speedily running down the national savings and accumulating unbelievable debts even at a time when the nation experienced unprecedented high income?... what an irony?... and then you expect wonders to happen when oil price has dropped by over 60% and the to further compound matters, the nation's oil production has dropped by almost 40% (thanks to your militant friends and their political sponsors). Oh yes, the nation is grounded, my mind is at much peace with my political choice because I can see and discern very well, the reason behind the present turmoil. |
Under the sun and in the rain... |
Fayose why?... Fayose who claimed to be a prophet in December 2015, obviously his gift of prophecy could not see this coming when he was making this 'resign' comment. Karma is a biatch! https://i279.photobucket.com/albums/kk143/faeini1/laughing-monkey.gif |
