andyanders:Na wa for Nigerians and analysis. What makes u feel Dbanj is possessed?. . . or are u the spirit of lust that's possessing him? |
kabukabu:No one needs a conspiracy theorist to explain the Nigerian situation. The reason for our situation is obvious even to a blind and deaf man |
Imo indigens don't care what the qualifications of Rochas are. Imo people never knew the qualifications of Ikedi Ohakim when he was IMPOSED as Governor. Infact, over 80% of Imo indigenes heard the name "Ohakim" for the first time only when it was announced by IWU as the name of the governor elect under the most fraudulent circumstances ever recorded in Nigerian history. This was the genesis of the hatred. Ngige became governor of Anambra under similar circumstances and as a wise man, he knew he had to convert the hate people had for him to love. He melted the hating hearts of Anambrarians in less than 2 yrs of good governance and is still reaping the rewards of his wisdom till date. Ohakim wasn't as smart as Ngige hence instead of buying the sympathy of Imo people, he further aggravated their hate for him with his daily actions and inactions. Imo people would rather have a non-Imo indigene as governor than to have ohakim retain the office. He had 4 yrs to woo the people but he failed. The greatest risk is not taking the risk at all and embacing the statusquo. Imo people don't care what the credentials of Rochas are. They just want a new governor and a new governor they would get. |

Guys don't be decieved by all these pictures circulated by fraudsters. From reliable sources within the US presidency, I just got a clearer picture detailing what was really happening in that scene. Obama was playing the latest special release version of Call of Duty: Black Ops II which has a unique operation where u hunt down al quaeda. Obama got so excited after completing the mission that he quickly announced to the world that Osama had been killed. ![]()
|
shotster50:So what exactly are u trying to say? . . that those pics of "dead" osama were real? . . . or are u saying this pics of obama purportedly watching the execution is really Obama and his cabinet watching the real action? I shake my head in dissapointment at the gullibility of some individuals ![]() |
This war indeed has nothing to do with Ghaddafi's regime, it's all about oil and power. All those swallowing the stories they hear from the western media should watch and get the other sides of the story which is not being reported. Ghaddafi might be a bad man but NATO and the US have absolutely no right to invade a sovereign nation. When they went for the Oil in Iraq, they claim Saddam killed his people in the 80s and that he was developing WMDs. Almost a decade after they invaded iraq, they have killed over 100 times more innocent persons than they claimed saddam killed in a period of 30 yrs and they found no WMDs. Presently with their 'success' in iraq, they now comfortably control Iraqi oil ![]() Just late last year, Ghaddafi raised an issue of "Nationalising Libyan oil" The US felt their oil supply could be threatened. In order to satisfy their insatiable lust for oil, they knew something had to be done to ghaddafi. Next thing we see is a group of rebels arising in Libya to topple the government and what we hear in the world media (which is controlled by the US) is "Ghaddafi is killing his own people". Perfect opportunity to strike and replace the strong headed dictator with a US loyalist is born. "We are going there only to protect the innocent civilians" but next thing we hear is a barage of bombs landing on Ghaddaffi's palace. My advice to Ghaddafi, "give these people the oil they truly want and have your peace." |

violent: ![]() In the words of Patrick Obahiagbon, "the present idiotic leaders masturbating in the corridors of power, WTF do those dudes bring to the table when quality of governance is being measured? Everyone has a right to contest for any position and we can never judge a mans performance until he's tested |
imo indigenes are too enlightened to go on a rampage against youth corpers. Even the most hopeless hoodlum wouldn't attempt attacking corpers |
shalom1234:I agree with u totally on the tribal sentiments aspects. Some urhobos might want Ogboru based on ethnicity but you are totally wrong when u say uduaghan has the spread in other ethnic groups. In the Delta state I know, an Ijaw man would rather support an ibo man than support an Itsekiri man. Generally, the hate people of the state have for the governor has nothing to do with ethnicity but rather it's based on performance. Being a non-deltan who resides in the state, I base my judgment on performance. In plain and simple English, "Uduaghan failed deltans in the last four years." Even the greatly vilified Ibori performed ten times better than Uduaghan in his first term. If not for any other thing, ibori tarred every single steet i know of in warri where i reside. If u take a poll around the state, u would find out that deltans dont want uduaghan based on different reasons ranging from tribal sentiments to the fact that he's a non-performing rogue (unlike ibori). The only people that truly endorse uduaghan are his fellow tribesmen. Even if it's a goat contesting, they would rather vote it as long as it's from their tribe and that's because they think they are marginalised as a minority. |
ebonyjoy1: we've heard a lot of this kind of stories today. Let inec announce the final result first |
legba1:". . . the solution are AMATEM" contains the recommended combination therapy (ACT) as prescribed by W.H.O |
edicolove:Fact! As much as we hate Uduaghan, the truth is that he will still win again. Since Ogboru doesn't have the required cash (to buy inec, police, countless thugs etc), he should have overwhelming support from the people of the state in order to win this election. I'm afraid Ogboru hasn't got any of these since he's only 'overwhelmingly' popular in warri town and in his village. Opinion polls will always show that Ogboru is popular but most people that make up those online polls are somehow either based in warri or linked to warri town. |

SoJaded:If this idea scales through, it would be the greatest achievement of these our lawmakers. Although i still support the whole thing being scrapped because its demerits far outweight its merits. You can imagine a scheme where they claim people are posted without choice to faraway places but the children of "big men" who school abroad are given the priviledge to choose where they want to serve. |
jason123:May their evil continue to consume them in Jesus name, AMEN |
Nice one. . . I like hearing stories like this. . . a clear contrast from what our stars were about 10 yrs ago As for the haters and bad belle incorporated members here, are they the first to acquire Bentleys in Nigeria?. . . so why all the insults and bashing? |
Beaf:Just like dat? Me too, I'm feeling bad about the violence.
Beaf u no well . . . i can see u r a very happy and fulfilled man now |
The wind cannot blow in your direction all the time. Saharareporters have a policy of beaming their searchlight on the government of the day and exposing their flaws. They have always done this and Nigerians enjoyed the site until the coming of GEJ who is a president loved by many. You cannot expect SR to change their lifelong policy simply because u like the present govt. If u feel offended by their "biased" reporting towards GEJ and his govt, i suggest u stick with Thisday and co until whenever GEJ leaves power. |
LFJ:This is one part of the story i really hate. People keep counting no more petrol queues in filling stations as an achievement of GEJ but they have no idea of the billions of dollars he distributes to pdp cronies to import petroleum products from Ivory Coast and senegal. |
fesse:It's either u are blind or u have just stubbornly refused to be rational that's why u still need proof kaecy5:If u could read, u would have read earlier that the woman on red standing by the booth is the PDP woman leader in the area. It would take common sense for anyone to know that a PDP woman leader can not stand by and supervise someone thumprinting massively for another party. It's just a pity that common sense isn't common. |
omo9ja1:We know she struggles with English but I dont still believe she said some of those things u put up there |
The shouts of free and fair election were very loud indeed when results were still been collated at various wards. At the end of the day, the officially announced results were still the same old story except for the west where the story changed a little. Even up till now, gullible people still praise the election because Bankole and Iyabo lost. In a truly free and fair election, there is no way one party will totally sweep through a whole country or a whole region. For PDP to sweep the whole country, that is fraud. For ACN to sweep the whole western region, that is also fraud. |
The same Nigerians that have cried bitterly under the PDP regime for the past 12years have now made a U-turn to come and vote the same PDP to maintain the degenerating statusquo. They say they are voting for GEJ not PDP but they fail to understand that nothing good can come out of a cult of Principalities and Demonic Powers. I pray we all live to see the result of our collective folly when the time comes. |
If the Benin-Ore road is truly fixed, we wouldn't need some PDP follower to come tell us here on Nairaland; we would smell it in the air. Is it not the same road the Oba of Benin was reported to complain of about 6 weeks ago? Remember, even in the worst state of that road, one could make Warri to Lagos in 4.30hr if u are lucky to pass early in the day when the road isn't busy. kaycee0604: Kx:Don't mind all these PDP upcoming stalwarts coming to deceive NL with false gist |
If this is true, it's rather tooooo late and will definitely have little or no effect. |
