KarmaMOD,
Thanks for taking the trouble to correct. Well, you will get you salary at the end of the month. I don't like prove reading things on nairaland. So keep the job up. It ir yours to do.

Earthmama,
it is not that men are something. But let look at it. It is easier for a man to get another partner regardless of what befall his old marriage than for women. If the woman has a child or children, most men would think twice before accepting to marry her. As you are aware, it is not advisable for either partner to try to change the other when the habit is cemented. Everybody has freedom.

If you marry a foolish man or a wife beater, I don't think you will want to remain with him while massaging his ego. If you have the chance, I am sure you will contemplate leavin4 him for good.
PoliticsRe: Why I Made Up With Obasanjo -atiku by olanajim(m): 2:17pm On Jan 22, 2009
Obj and Atiku are one of a kind. Atiku knew of Obj underhand dealings but looked the other way until obj exposed his PTDF fraud.

And to say the man is comparing what happened between him and Obj to Obama/Mccain drama is to say the least idiotic. They want to blindfold us. Awon Ole omo jaguda!

Atiku know that Yar'adua may not go for 2nd term. And the North have one more term before the power goes to either Southeast or Southsouth. He know that is his last chance of ruling Nigeria and he want to seize the opportunity. What is more, if AC form grand alliance with other parties, Atiku will not have automatic nomination when Utomi, Buhari and others challenge him(assuming the aliance is a success). So the Machiaveli in Atiku is scheming to return to PDP where only few can challenge him.

Is it Yar'adua, Goodluck, Odili or the big mouthed Prof Aminu (who is already feeling jiltery) that want to challenge him in PDP? Ekweme will support Atiku, so will many of the cheiftain.

On OBJ, he is already on the losing end. Yaradua is destroying the legacies he left behind. And the PDP hawks are working to demote him to ordinary member. The man has thought that he would be an instant hero after his tenure, but he know better now. He need Atiku to help regain his fading glory. And naturally they have to reconcile.

B.t.w, Atiku fail to point out that when Obama met with Maccain, and discuss issue, he didn't ask the later to defect to Democrat Party. Comparing himself to Obama is like comparing drug with poison.

PoliticsRe: Visit To Obj: Ac Disowns Atiku by olanajim(m): 1:53pm On Jan 22, 2009
Atiku was PDP, and will always be. Whether he go to AC, or Democrat in USA, Turaki remains bloody PDP. He want power and at the moment, he feel only PDP can help him. His fellowers, like they did before forming AC, are quietly leaving AC to prepare a ground for him. AC will do well to let him go, so they can function properly. For one, Atiku ambition will destroy whatever plan CNPP have for 2011.
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Constitution Is Invalid, Nigeria Is Invalid, Biafra Govt In Exile Case by olanajim(m): 6:04am On Jan 22, 2009
Need I reply that? What is delegated authority? What does constitution say about amendment? Is the a president in Nigeria? Do we have a NASS? What are their duties? Mr man, I don't think I need to answer you.

Whether by election, or selection, lawless and unstable nations get their leaders and their acts are valid as long as citizens accept to live by them.
IslamRe: Polygamy by olanajim(m): 5:47am On Jan 22, 2009
@bab,
you forgot to add something.

Case 3:
you marry a lady who is dare to you. Somehow, after marriage, she turn out to be a trouble maker. Everyday, it is argument, fight, disagreement. Then you concluded that she isn't going to make life bearable for you after so much placation and elders' intervention. A man has

1. To divorce her and let each go there way.
2. To cheat outside and find peace that elude him at from another woman.
3. To remain committed to that hellish life.

Neither of these is good for women right. So personally, I will recomend polygamy. When the home wife see rival, she will either shape up or shape out!

That is one of the two pre-conditions for me to go into polygamy!

Creativity,
then I challenge you to boldly enumerate Ribadu's good deeds and bad deeds and the weight them on your scale. Since you know so much about Ribadu that you can easily condemn him for whatever ill he did to you or your friend, you must accept the challenge to convince us that you are worth hearing. Be objective and and see how smart you are.

If you can't do this successfully, then you are a liar, pursuing personal grudge against Ribadu.
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Constitution Is Invalid, Nigeria Is Invalid, Biafra Govt In Exile Case by olanajim(m): 5:08am On Jan 22, 2009
It is sheer ignorant to expect every citizen to agree to the content of any constitution before it can be valid. In democracy, you voice may not count, contrary to what you think. You elect people, and those people carry out their wishes (not yours). To some extent, Military also have a form of legitimacy from illegitimacy. We can't deny that. So whatever they wrote is binding until someone else change it.
PoliticsRe: Think Nigeria! by olanajim(m): 4:24pm On Jan 21, 2009
I_laugh,
if success are recorded, nations developed by "I CAN DO" slogan, then, this country will have transformed into paradise. Nations are built by sweat and blood and not by slogan. Nigeria harbour too much of dangerous men and women who strongly believe in miracle without work. That is why religions are the most profitable ventures in the Niger-area.
PoliticsRe: Why I Appeared Before Yar' Adua In Mufti -ribadu by olanajim(m): 4:12pm On Jan 21, 2009
Mr Anti Ribadu,
why will you allow sentiment to becloud your sense of judgements? Granted that Ribadu comitted some errors while at EFCC, is there any law that state that once you make mistake all you good deeds must be discountenanced, even when your good deeds far outnumber your mistakes on a balanced scale?

On the issue at hand, are you aware that Ribadu, is a victim of Nigerian inconsistent laws? That he fall as a victim and still manage to perform creditably is enough for you to take a second look at him. In case you are not aware, Ribadu is supposed to be on police leave while being seconded to EFCC. In other word, he is responsible to who ever the constitution vested in the power of EFCC. Unfortunately, the law was not clearly stated to that effect. Need I remind you that a bill is presently at NASS, to correct that anormally?

I do not know what you stand to gain by running down the man. Even Abraham Lincolm, Nelson Mandela, Mahathma Ghandi, Bill Clinton etc committed errors while at the helm of leadership. People remember them for the good they did and not for their errors.
IslamRe: U Re Ignorant Abt The Religion by olanajim(m): 11:32am On Jan 21, 2009
The trouble is, some people want absolute aceptance. They want their ideas and thought be the only established one. Anytime they meet with resistance, they start attacking their opponents character instead of attacking the idea. Even God does not expect us to agree with everything. That is why He gave us head and built hell and heaven.

IslamRe: Why The High Rate Of Conversion To Christianity? by olanajim(m): 7:57pm On Jan 20, 2009
@topic,
i don't think the rate of Muslims' convertion to Xtainity is high. What I am seeing is people of neutral beliefs choosing a religion that they are more exposed to.

What I mean is that, most of the so-called Muslims that convert, are in reality not muslims. They just carry muslim names. That I am Fashola by name does not make me an Ifa worshiper. We need to look beyond names and family root. Religion is in the heart, not names.

@Aisha2, Kobojunke,

this thread is in SEASON TWO! I wasn't part of SEASON ONE, but it is good to see how far the wind of change had taken Nigeria. Unfortunately, I am going to be on the positive side. I believe there is positive wind of change going on in Nigeria.

Like a soap opera, this thread can't die until Nigeria is dead. Because this thread is Xtremely Nigeria.

I am proud, though sad, to say a BITTER SWEET WIND OF CHANGE IS BLOWING IN NIGERIA!

RomanceRe: I Need A Very Good Adviser On This: You Are More Blessed If You Do by olanajim(m): 7:48am On Jan 20, 2009
Mr poster,
you must be older than that girl. In that case, you have to learn to talk things out before making erratic decisions. She was right to say you are evading problems. If you are to break up with every lady that behave funny to you at a stage in your r/shp, then you will have a high stat to show at the end of the day.

If you think she is hurting you, why not discus with her? Study her and find out why she do that.

Talk to her and tell her you want the two of you to be "just friends." If along the line you find that you are compatible for real r/shp, then you will propose formally. Treat her well but don't invest too much of your heart in her. That way, if she dump you, you will not be hurt. Visit her at school. Sometimes with notice, at another time without. But don't stalk her or follow her about. Learn to understand her. Make it clear that you want her, but if she know she does not want you, she should tell you so you can part in peace instead of wasting time.

Be in control. Until you are satisfied. If she persists in her way, look for a better lady.

RomanceRe: My Ex-gf Said Something, True Or False? by olanajim(m): 8:02pm On Jan 19, 2009
@poster,
she might not have had sex. And she might. It is also possible that she was fingered without penetration. I said that because I have heard such case before. Everything depend on the kind of girl she is, was, and would be.

As for her saying that your "jackson" can not enter her. That is not enough for you to say she sleep about. Maybe you have a small dick. Well, if you don't know, some ladies actually finger themselves when in mood instead of sleeping with guys. If your "jackson" is not up to her finger, then it is clear why she said so.

My man, you look like someone looking for a virgin. Hmmm, it is a good ambition. But, would you rather marry a virgin than a faithful lady? Virginity is not an indication that a lady will make a good wife. All the ladies that are not a virgin were either used and dumped, by men preaching "Gospel of Virginity" or are forced by circumstances to lose it. If you can unravel the circumstance, you will be forced to give up your gospel.

Personally, at early age, I used to look for "V" girls. But then, as I grow wiser, I make a choice that some guys may find weird. But that is it. Man, grow up. Look for character, not what is under her skirt.
RomanceRe: I Need A Very Good Adviser On This: You Are More Blessed If You Do by olanajim(m): 7:45pm On Jan 19, 2009
One: since you didn't supply the forum with detail, it mean only you is in the best position to advise yourself. Take it or leave it.

Two: from the way you talk, it is obvious you love her too much yet, your fear of being hurt predominate your emotion. And so the only escape route you can think of is opting out. You have done nothing wrong as far as common sense is concerned. But in the light of reality, you might have handle it in another way.

Third: that relationship, in itself is doomed to fail if it is true that you broke up with her twice in the first one month of knowing her. It simply mean mean the two of you don't blend well from day one. Naturally, she would dump you once she find a better man at school. But not all troublesome ladies are cheaters. That is a fact that I find out much later in life.

Three: someone said the lady or girl is under 20, if that is true, then I am in support of your action. If she were my sister, I will ask her to spend at least 2 years in school and evaluate her feeling before saying "I love you" to you. Girls under 20 are generally prone to change of heart especially if they were driven to love by peer influences. So my admonition to you is to always take relationship at friendship level. That way, you can have enough time to understand her better. Knowing someone within a month and breaking away twice within the same period indicated that you both started as lovers rather than friends.

Finally, I don't think you can handle long distance r/shp. Well, I just pray you find your match. I mean someone who will stay close to you. As for you afraid of picking her call lest you start loving her again. It is very obvious that you are weak in matter of heart. Pick her call and let her know why you are quiting. Let her know what was wrong. If you just quit that way, you are cruel. At any rate, you need help yourself!
RomanceRe: I Need A Very Good Adviser On This: You Are More Blessed If You Do by olanajim(m): 6:55pm On Jan 19, 2009
Why didn't you meet her first before making a decision? Why must you base your suspicion on the way "she talk" on phone?". How did she talk on phone that made you think she is drifting away?

Anyway, since you have ended it, let her be. But next time handle things in a mature way. . .

PoliticsRe: Like A Rat, Ribadu Sneaks Out Again by olanajim(m): 6:33pm On Jan 19, 2009
You have taking his job away from him;
You humiliated him and then accused him of mismanaging fund that was stolen when he was on leave;
You told the international community that he ran away to avoid defending himself. He returned but no one arrested him;
You now want him to stay in the country when no one will give him another job except the shadow of death trailing him.

Now, the man can't travel again! What a nation!

@poster,
I disagree with your analogy. It is driven by sentiment.

So far, as bad as obj was, I am yet to see or hear any president that have achieved what he did. Maybe it will happen in future. Let us learn to seperate human character from their achievement if it is possible.
