Family › Re: Living With Inlaws! by Outstrip(f): 1:30am On Aug 26, 2009
ROTFLMAO. Please oga go back and read it  again. Even if it is his mother. Why should she move into the house of her just married son. If she was there before they got married she should have made arrangement to leave as soon as her brother got married. This goes for anyone. Unless of course it is a mother who is too old or ill to live by herself and has no other children to help out.

Politics › Re: Waziri, 100 EFCC Men Storm Lagos To Arrest Debtors by Outstrip(f): 3:57pm On Aug 25, 2009
Brorrowing money and not paying back in a timely manner is not necessarily are crime but this case is different. It is bigger than just non performing loans. If these people were breaking laws by taking that much money then it becomes a crime. If the bank gave out more than it is legally required to by law then it is a crime. When the actions of these few people can be catastrophic for the economy then it's time to take action. Maybe the EFCC knows something we do not. What deals did they make with the bankshuh Did they lie to get the loans?
Christianity Etc › Re: Illegal Islamic Detention Camps Busted In Ibadan by Outstrip(f): 5:38am On Aug 25, 2009
They need to find those parents and have them arrested. That girl would have to have been 16 when her mother took her there. Honestly their parents should be used as an example to other parents

Christianity Etc › Re: Why Do Christians Celebrate Birthdays? by Outstrip(f): 5:27am On Aug 25, 2009
Birthdays are an opportunity to thank God. How can you pull those two verses out of the Bible and then say that that proves that this is means that Birthday celebration is bad. Don't you think that is misleading. Weddings were celebrated in the Bible. The birth's of babies was celebrated, engagements were celebrated and you can go on and on. Please do not mislead people.

Family › Re: I Hate My Mother by Outstrip(f): 1:15am On Aug 25, 2009
A man like this just needs to make it plain from the beginning that he knows his family is trouble but that he is willing to cut them off if they cross the line. So do you think that is possible? Of course it is not possible. Imagine if they get married and she does not conceive right away. Can you imagine the hell that a family like this will put this woman through. Some people just do not know when to back off and I am sorry but our African parents take it to a whole new level. Maybe if the boy goes to his mother and tells her that he does not want her in his life for what she has done. She will change her behavior quick quick but we know he will not do it. He would rather come here and say he hates her.
Culture › Re: Is It A Taboo To Marry Your Sister-in-law by Outstrip(f): 12:56am On Aug 25, 2009
They are not blood relatives but in Nigerian marriages where people usually do not respect people's opinions it can get ugly quickly when there are family issues. It could quickly be a case of this family against that family

If your best friend loved you enough he would not have let you marry another man. Stop contacting him and focus on your husband. I just have this feeling that you and you alone will get hurt if you do not let this go

I am sorry but children are involved. Is the husband secretly enjoying the moaning self. She needs to speak to them preferably with her husband going with her. It should not be confrontational. Do it the nice way and see if that works. If not then maybe they need to tape it and let the landlord listen to it

agathamari a woman that goes to that length does that of her own free will. She has no one to blame but herself. I agree with you though that women have done that and even worse. A friend of mine did something almost equally stupid recently and I wondered if she was not mentally unstable. Some people just simply refuse to help themselves

Why don't you try to go to bed a little earlier. I know some women suffer insomnia as they get closer to their due date but if you want to keep this job then you have to drag yourself out of that bed and be at work on time. Mind over matter. It is well

Family › Re: When A Woman Is The Bread Winner Of The Home: by Outstrip(f): 3:37am On Aug 22, 2009
This can work if the man is enlightened. For most Nigerian marriages the man will simply make the woman's life a living hell.
