FamilyRe: I Need To Beat Up My Inlaw. by Outstrip(f): 5:29pm On Nov 04, 2011
ronkebp:
lol,

Poster, get your guys, let them beat him up, the only thing i would suggest, is that, you should not show your face, but let those guys beat the living-daylight out of him, and they should tell him the reason he is being beaten, so that when next he sees his wife, he starts to shiver!!!.
The poster is probably making this up but my dear I like your idea. The next time he beats his wife he will not know where the revenge punch will come from. He will even run when he sees his neighbors 5 year old son walking towards him. No idea whatsoever who was paid to beat his ass.

I was going to say that but I was not sure. They look just like the ones that were shown on TLC though all the ones I have seen on TV have been white. Thanks "TheShepherd'sPsalm" cheesy

I think what is better is so have those men tie him up and give your sister a cain (the kind our math teacher used to use) and let her whip his bum until he begs. What will the elders tell him that will make a difference. Someone that beats his wife up to the point that she ends in the hospital. Elders indeed
Oh yeah? You must have known the person for a long time and very well. I'm very wary of who goes into my kitchen, but there's a greater chance that I'll let you into my kitchen than have you cook in your home, in my absence, and deliver it.

Lol @ ''Wettin you cook?'' It's usually close friends and relatives that do this, so I really do not have a problem with it.
Nope. Why should I. I used references. She is a caterer. She provided a service and I paid her for it. Doesn't taste as good as mine probably because she is from Ghana and they cook certain things a little different. Sometimes though you want to try something different. I really don't mind.

FoodRe: How Sacred Is Your Kitchen by Outstrip(f): 12:54pm On Nov 04, 2011
My husband and I do the cooking. I have never had anyone come in to cook but I have paid someone to cook intheir home and deliver it. I don't care really. The only thing I cannot stand is people who come to my house and expect to get fed or ask "wetin you cook" or some nonsense like that. My advice is eat in your house before you come. Mannerless people

Nashville:
Not trying to derail the thread, but I am faced with a situation. I always tried to lend money that I could forget but I had a special case. I had to borrow my first cousin £5,000. He is a bit older, calls and starts explaining the bank is about to sell his house, he doesnt have money, business isn't fine bla, bla, bla. So I sent him the money and he promised he will pay back in two months as he was expecting some major payments from his business. I didn't want to but I was worried about his well being so I decided to help.

6 months now, he isnt even talking about it, I have politely asked him twice and all he says is that he hasnt forgetten. Worst thing was that he had the guts to travel to Dubai and London with his family of four, and when he came to London they stayed with us. They went about shopping and buying things even I couldnt afford. And his wife kept on saying things like "you people dont have this and that in your house"? I was so upset.

Please help how do I deal with such a person. He is a cousin like a brother because he grew up in our house but this is getting too much. I am tempted to use the roforofo style o.
What is wrong with you mscheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeew. I don't pity you. I think you like it. When you should have allowed them to shop to their hearts content and then confisticate everything. The day someone does this type of crap to me they will know that day say na my mama born me. I was biting my fingers while I was reading your yeye story.
PoliticsRe: One-Month Old Baby Receives Salary In Zamfara State by Outstrip(f): 2:17am On Nov 04, 2011
Why is this sort of thing not followed by letting us know that someone was fired. Why are you telling us. Worse has happened. If you want to act like your office is doing something about it then say we found this and so so and so was fired and investigation is pending. Let us see someone in handcuffs. How hard is it to solve something this simple. Whose department was it in. Who was signing off on payroll. Just nonsense.

It would even be more understanding had he gone to school in Nigeria where you are pretty much useless until you land your first real job. He went to school in the US where 90% of his school mates juggled work and school and the ones who did not probably had to take loans. He now wants to come back home and just keep living like his popsie has not spent thousand already on him. Honestly the typical Nigerian American would even have had things lined up in Nigeria before he even reached home. At OP did you study food and nutrition that you are saying that your degree is not valued in Nigeria. Please help yourself. No one else can. It's for your own good. One day you will appreciate this advice
FamilyRe: Your Thoughts by Outstrip(f): 1:23am On Nov 04, 2011
You are not a baby. I am not sure why your mom is being so posessive. You are old enough to be married. Does your mother have a husband now or has it been just you guys since she took you back from the family she left you with. Maybe she is afraid you will make the same mistakes she did. You are a woman. Sit down and talk to your mother. woman to woman. Your mother was wrong for making you lie about your father. It seems that she let you guys carry adult problems and she still seems to not understand that your life is separate from hers and she cannot take control of another human life so completely. Especially an adult. Talk to your mom. I do not see any other way around it.
FamilyRe: Monogamy Causing Infidelity Among African Couples? by Outstrip(f): 12:20am On Nov 04, 2011
So you sat down and thought really hard and this is the conclusion that you came to. If you truly believe that polygamy is what will cure someone from being a LovePeddler then you just want to be ignorant. I guess in your mind the man should just keep marrying women until he grows up and chooses to be responsible. I guess that old man that has 100 wives was very responsible. He was just marrying them so that he does not run out there and be "unfaithful"

What annoys me when people pull this "our culture" crap is that even when it is blantantly wrong people will still defend it. How can you defend polygamy in 2011. What purpose could it possibly serve.

I was going to ask the same thing. Does she work outside of the home? How do you feel now that you have slapped the crap out of her? Has it helped your frustration? huh
FamilyRe: Am Such A Useless Person. Advise Me by Outstrip(f): 2:59pm On Nov 03, 2011
You are very ungrateful. You are not entitled to anything. Not even the school fees your father paid for you. YOU ARE NOT ENTITLED. Period. You need to grow up and apologize to your parents. You were not attacked. You were being corrected. A 6pm curfew is not a big deal. If you are such a big boy then move out and stay out till 11pm. The money that you are griping about is not yours. It belongs to your parents and they can choose not to give you a penny. You should be grateful that he gives you anything. Are you not ashamed that you are still collecting pocket money at 24 years of age. What a brat. You should try humility. It will take you a long way. The other thing I am also very convinced about is that if your dad gives you more money you will get in trouble. You have to show discipline. Your dad might not be a saint but you have a lot of growing up too do

That's basically what she is saying. Why should he even apologize. It is his nature

Men are nature born cheat nd d fact dey cheat dsnt me dey dnt love u its just thier nature i tnk she should sit her hus dwn nd have a long sensitive with hym if he realy lves u he wuld apologize evrytin startz wit a step
Speak for the men in your life. My father and my husband are not "natural born cheats". There are men who take pride in keeping their home. Don't paint the ones that work hard as cheats because you choose to accept someone treating you like garbage

Why do people just take people's kindness for foolishness. This is why sometimes it pays to just be a mean ass bitch. Imagine moving his girlfriend in. the girl too no get shame. Anyway poster stay there and be asking questions. When you get home today she would have given birth to twins and moved her mother in to do omugo

Why are these posters being so fake. Do they really expect (in Nigeria) members of a family to call the police to arrest the father and bread winner? Who will pay the school fees of the kids, what about the house etc. This will be settled as a family matter.
The mother would even be the one to hide it

It's bull alright. If these uncles actually beat up their parents then what is the suprise that they are not succeeding at anything. They are obviously untrained and have no discipline which is an important factor in achieving anything in life. Nothing to do with anybody grabbing a body part and cursing someone

naimbdis stop making excuses. Are you saying that if you have this job until you are 75 thay your wife will keep living without your attention. Please don't tempt nature. You simply have to find the time or do other things to make up for it. I understand that it is not just a physical thing it is also mental but sometimes and many women will tell you this you still make love not because you are in the mood but the other person needs it. Simple.
